Since I now travel much of the time, I have been sharing my home with families from around the world. I look forward to sharing it with you and your family while I'm on a trip or visiting my family in Minnesota and elsewhere.

This well-appointed pool home is great for families or a relaxing get-away. You will enjoy the heated pool during the cool Florida months of October through May.

PARTIES NOT ALLOWED IN HOME. Entertaining small groups of friends and/or family must be REQUESTED IN WRITING via email to the owner and additional damage deposit may be required. Confirmation from the owner will be sent via email.

POOL: The screened in pool/patio is perfect for enjoying an afternoon in the sun or your evening meal. Some floats and pool toys are available.

GUEST CAPACITY: A MAXIMUM of 8 guests unless approved by the owner.

PETS: Small to medium size dogs are welcome. Dogs over 30 pounds may require an additional fee. A pet agreement will be sent. No other pets allowed. No cats.

DECOR: Wonderful art from around the world brings life and a personal touch to every room. Again, this is a home that is used by the owner when she is not traveling, so you will find the warmth of a few family photos which truly separate this home from hotels and the uninspired rental homes. Enjoy, relax, and create memories!

LOCATION: The town of Cutler Bay is in the southern end of Miami-Dade County. This location is a favorite for weddings at Palmetto Bay’s Deering Estates and other locations on The Bay. The home is close to “Old Cutler Road” which offers a lovely scenic 20-minute drive to South Miami, Coral Gables, and Coconut Grove. Miami Airport is around 40 minutes and South Beach or Key Largo are 45 plus minutes. Rush hour traffic not factored into these travel times.

We stayed for a week for vacation and the home was immaculate, kitchen fully stocked, beds clean and comfortable, the pool was great, and location was amazing. We drove into the Keys and the drive was easy. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed the property. It was in a great location and amenities were as listed. The only issue was accessing the property. The lock on the front door was not functioning properly. However, I would definitely stay here in the future.

Three generations of family and a dog stayed here for a week. An absolutely fantastic time was had by all. The house was comfortable and welcoming and so well equipped, anything you could think of that was needed was there. The pool and outdoor space were our favourite and the neighbourhood was lovely to walk around.

This home is awesome! This was my first booking with VRBO and it was such a great experience. Pat was very communicative and responsive. The property was amazing and so accommodating. It was a beautiful home and what we needed while we were there. I would recommend families with older kiddos to stay here. Our almost two year old loved all the decorations, frogs, books and dvd’s…so I was having to really watch her to make sure she didn’t touch anything! But over all it was an awesome and the owner is very kind. Plus the peacocks were fun to watch 😎

Super enjoyable - playing cornhole in the screened in Florida Room while others were in the pool and others were grilling...was all so wonderful and created beautiful memories. This property has everything you could possibly need - Most well-stocked property we've ever rented. Layout was great and home was very large, and can accommodate lots of guests. Top 2 Pros: - The outside heated pool and screen-in patio area was perfect and allowed us to eat every meal outside. Kids loved the pool and pool toys were provided. - Kitchen was equip with start-of-the-art appliances. The kitchen had everything you could possible need and refrigerator was large. Top 2 things we wish were different: - The only "inconvenience" we had, was that one of the bedrooms (the one with the crib) was noticeably warmer than the other rooms, like 5 degrees warmer even with the AC on. The bed in this room was super comfortable though. - The neighborhood has peacocks roaming about, and in the spring, they made noises into the night and very early in the morning, before the sun came up. This did not bother us though. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this property to others and would stay here again.

When you rent a property you want the listing to be as it is advertised. This property is everything it is described as. Great safe neighborhood. Very clean property that is completely consistent with the listing. We chose this property because of the amount of positive reviews and it's proximity to being able to drive to Key Largo for Snorkeling and the Everglades. Also, we were able to drive into Miami in under an hour to explore or spend time on Miami beach. Having a beautiful large pool and private backyard were perfect for our family. Wonderful property that fully deserves the reputation it has earned on VRBO!

This is a perfect house for anyone visiting the South Miami area. It is clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-stocked with all the amenities. Pat’s home was a great place for home base during our stay for our son’s wedding at Deering Estate! It has everything you would need. We ate most meals at home and relaxed by the pool. We also went to Miami Beach one day which was easy to get to. Ubers are readily available in the area. The house is very clean and has no odor what so ever, I am always happy that I don’t smell mildew or air fresheners! Thank you Pat!

Pat was a wonderful owner to work with. We came down to help transition our granddaughter into the University. Our immediate family came down to visit also and we're all impressed with the layout and versatility of this home. In the driveway accommodated our pontoon boat Plus 4 vehicles at one time. The oversized swimming pool with huge domed enclosure is too large to be properly photographed. No matter what is going on or how many family or friends are present. There is always a place to find some quiet time. We loved it and will be back again in the future.

We rented this house because it was my dad's 90tb birthday and wanted to spend his week with him and my mom. While he had some difficulty with the steps in the home, he found a way around them and it was all great! My kids enjoyed the pool every day! The beds were comfortable that we didn't miss our own beds at all during our stay! I would definitely recommend checking out Pat's house.
