This place was located in a perfect spot of the East Bay. Easy access to many places in Traverse City and further. Master was very spacious and the place was a perfect size for our family. Renovated patio out back which gave plenty of space to entertain and enjoy the beach. We will definitely book again if available when we plan another trip.

Great house with a beautiful beach and water views from almost every room. It is on a busy road but you do not see or hear the traffic from the beach side of the house. The owner was very responsive. Our family and dog had a great time!

In the pictures the property looked dark, but any concerns I had were gone when we walked in the property. It was well maintained inside and the outside was great! The deck sells the property, right on the water with a covered area over the gas firepit. We were able to sit outside even when we had sprinkles.
I was concerned with the road in the front of the house and we definitely did hear road noise. That was the only thing that took away from the property. We kayaked right off the beach and were able to walk along the beach in both directions for quite a ways.
The kitchen is well stocked with spices and tools. We were short on cooking/olive oil.
Communication was good with the property manager and the owners were very nice when they came over to help with the Wi-Fi, but we fixed it before they got there. Know that it may be difficult to use the Wi-Fi outside but it was no problem in the house.
Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

The house and the view are both beautiful, we will definitely stay again. Very family friendly for all ages, we had young children and they loved the beach and the deck was great for hanging out.

Perfectly equipped home, no better Grand Traverse Bay view, and no more convenient location.
Would love to book this property again, if only for the glorious sunrises each day.

Beautiful beach location
This home is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The beachside living space is great - sunning, swimming, grilling, beach-combing, lounging, and enjoying beach campfires.

A wonderful trip!
We booked this property because of the absolutely stunning beachfront view on the water, but we were floored by how beautiful the house was as well. The beds were comfortable and the house was so relaxing to stay in. The kitchen is was so nice to have, especially with all the pots, pans, and cookware provided. The grill needed to be deep cleaned a bit, but once it was, we were able to get it going and it worked perfectly. There was definitely some road noise, but we’re from a major city, so this was nothing new or bothersome to us (and something that earplugs could very easily fix). I’ve seen some people also complain about the drive way being difficult due to being on a major interstate street, but honestly we had no issues. The driveway had room for two large cars in front of the garage, and there’s plenty of space in front to make a three point turn in the drive and get out easily. The only thing I can think for that would have made the trip even better would have been a channel guide for the Cable TV. Since Traverse City basically shuts down around 9pm, there’s a lot of lounging time for us night owls, and it took a while to figure out which channels we were able to access and which we were not (the guide does not say). A channel guide would have been wonderful to have ahead of time to see what was included in the package, as there are roughly 1000 channels and you have to click every one to see if you get it. Other than that, we absolutely adored the property and wouldn’t hesitate to book our annual trips there going forward!

Great Place
The house was great, the access to town was great, the waterfront was great, and the owner was great! The house is on a main road so there is some substantial road noise. Not a huge deal, but worth knowing if you are a light sleeper.

Wonderful stay
This was a great property, and very comfortable. The beach out the backdoor and the large patio were perfect, and we spent much of our time there. Just a note, the paddle boat and one of the kayaks in the pictures are no longer there...nor is the dock. Not a big deal but something to be aware of. Plan on staying again!

Yearly Family Trip in Traverse City
An excellent week that this incredible home. The location was perfect for us. We wanted to spend more time closer to the town for this trip and still enjoy the water. This beautiful home is right on the lake. Mornings were beautiful taking in the sunrise and staring over the water. Despite the chilly weather we still enjoyed the paddle boat and the kayaks. There was a great firepit for our use as well so we had one night of s’mores! The home was well stocked with all you needed to cook. Crock pot, pots/pans, cookie sheets... you name it. There were also plenty of spices which is nice. Those are items you never think to bring. A Single cup Keurig also provided. The bedding was great and plenty of towels and extra linens provided. A nice feature was the washer and dryer. The home has been nicely remodeled and big enough for our family to enjoy. Finally this is a dog friendly property. It really was a nice place for our dogs. We would definitely stay here again when back in Traverse City. Communication with owners was great and timely. They could be reached any time we needed. No issues with check-in process and they ask for very little when you leave. Treat it like your own home. You’ll love your stay.

Wonderful Property with great views and beautiful home
We booked this trip, our first to Traverse City, and was in constant contact with the owners representative. She always answered all my questions and concerns promptly and was willing to help in any way once we got there.
When we arrived at the property we were pleased at how pretty it was from the outside driveway. The lawn and landscape were in great shape and beautiful flowers greeted us The drive is a half circle and you can pull out easily onto the road unless the driveway has a ton of cars in it. We walked in and it was spotless and the view from everyone room in the back of the house facing East Bay was breathtaking. Their was a slight problem with the washer and the Owners representative did mention right away that they were having issues with the repair company. I know they have since fixed it. It was a very modern laundry system and we were fine with it. Life isn't always perfect......
The beach had been raked and the deck was furnished with all we needed. The gas grill was an asset for evening dinner relaxing on the deck . We loved the fire pit for roasting marshmallows while the sun went down. The only complaint we had was that we had to go home so quickly. We would love this place to be on our favorite spot each year.

Please fix amenities
My family enjoyed staying in this home for a week but there were some issues that prevent this from being a great stay. The home is located on a very busy main road. While we were aware of this, it doesn't take away the fact tenants must cross the very busy road to walk pets, and pulling out when leaving has it's challenges. One side of the home remained hot the entire time we stayed because the A/C was locked on a setting. Working in the main living room on wireless devices like laptops was unsuccessful since the wireless signal was too weak. We tried three different computers, all couldn't pick up the weak signal unless sitting at the kitchen table. Another sore spot was not being notified that the washer was broken. We got the impression that this has been broken for a while and they didn't plan on having it repaired while we were there. The last issue was the grill. It really didn't get hot enough to cook without closing the lid and all the burners wouldn't light.
The beautiful view and beach make staying here worth it. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom situation for 6 or more people can be uncomfortable. The bathroom in the master isn't separated from the room so everything is on display from the bed. The other rest room is quite small and not great for sharing with a whole house.

Beautiful Home and Best Beach Area in TC
We recently stayed at this lovely home - the experience was above what we imagined. The owner and his daughter in law were beyond kind and helpful. It was a vacation place that my family and I will enjoy every year. The sunrise is amazing and the beach is very well maintained and is so relaxing to just sit and relax on. The owners have made all the cozy and comfortable measures to insure we had a wonderful stay. The house was immaculate and very well maintained when we arrived and we knew our experience would be nothing short of wonderful. Thank you for such an amazing vacation place,.......

Traverse City stay July 14-28, 2018
Property was very clean and everything we had hoped for. We stayed for two weeks and spent every day on the beautiful deck and beach. Home is spacious and centrally located to everything we wanted to see and do. Many great restaurants close by. One new one in particular was amazing! Calypso Mediterranean Restaurant was about half mile down the road and worth a visit ! The kitchen sink backed up and once I called, the owner was prompt in coming over and fixing it right away .
I recommend this property as we enjoyed it very much.

Perfect scenery!
This was an A+ Rental right on East bay! Loved the sunrises! Loved the nice long strip of beach to walk along.
The home was well equipped! The place was clean! The beds comfortable!
Not a huge fan of the open master bathroom W/O doors, but we got used to it! The beach was gorgeous! My only beef was there was only 1 small kayak and a peddle boat, so we rented another kayak. It would have been great to have a few more, as photos showed! But this house has such nice out door space, with several decks. Great for relaxing. We were happy our family of 5 and we were able to bring our dog Mona! Who enjoyed the lake, house, and the Swan who liked to visit regularly. This house is in a very convenient location close to many restaurants and stores! Loved it! And hope to return!

Beautiful beach frontage
Great water frontage, just to let others know, that there is not a restroom out side of going into a bedroom, and the shower in the second bedroom is very small. Also a lot of road noise being almost on the us 31.

Perfect Private Getaway
What a wonderful place to spend our vacation! This beautiful house was clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The owners were very responsive, but I really didn't need a thing. The beach was private, and the water was pristine (as usual for East Bay). The backyard deck provided a relaxing area to enjoy the view with my family. The location couldn't have been better, with a grocery store very close by, and downtown just a short drive away. Thank you for sharing your home with us...we will hopefully be returning next year!!

The Perfect Up North Get Away!
I hesitate to even share how much we loved our stay at this home. It.Is.Perfect.
I spent many summers on the West Bay as a kid. The only disadvantage to that location was that we were about a half an hour out of town. This special home is within minutes from downtown Traverse City. The beach front is priceless. The home comes with everything you would ever need. The beds are comfy. TVs in every room... that is if you ever turn them on. The photos on this site don't do this property justice for how nice and roomy it is in real life.
If there is anything negative to mention, it would be that the master bedroom (which is HUGE) is one open room with a big jacuzzi tub, shower and toilet. (I'm shy when it comes to bathroom sharing). No worries, there is another bathroom but it is part of the second bedroom. There is even an enclosed area for dogs! Many, many windows for beautiful views. You would never know that the street outside is busy with traffic. We would love for the hot tub to be working.
We will definitely be back next summer as we are sure to have finally found our repeat home for summers to come. Thank you SO much for opening your home to us. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Loved The Home!
We loved staying here, our kids especially loved playing out on the beach. The home is very nice and sufficiently furnished. The best part is the back patio with the beach access and beautiful views. We loved sitting outside at night relaxing and listening to the waves come up on the shore. We would definitely recommend this home to you.

Most beautiful setting in all of Traverse City
We were so pleased at our stay in this home last week! Everything was clean and open and lovely as soon as we walked in. The beach was perfect. The house is roomy. We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely be staying here in the future.
The beach is sandy all the way out and the swimming was excellent. I would have to say the deck was our favorite part and where we spent the majority of our time. The 2 person jacuzzi tub was a delightful surprise and the master suite is so spacious.
The only heads up I would give is if you are a person who doesn't read descriptions well and more looks at pictures (like I am) you will want to know that the hot tub was empty and not usable when we arrived and also the photo of the beach shows 3 kayaks but there is 1 on site. No complaints - just a tip.
It is located on a busy street (which doesn't bother us city dwellers) but rest assured as the residence has a nice turn around driveway that gives you plenty of space to get in and out without any issues.
We may have finally found our repeat vacation getaway!

Front row seat to the best show in town!
The best thing about this wonderful house is the back: right on one of the best lake beaches in the country, with a fantastic expansive deck, furnished with comfy chairs and tables for relaxing, dining, whatever, plus a great gas grill. Oh, and a fire pit for making authentic smores. Paddle boat and kayaks to explore the shoreline during the day. We never used any of the 3 flat screen TV’s, instead sat out and watched the show in the heavens as the sun set every night, still some light until nearly 11pm in mid-July.
The house is indeed a home, in excellent condition. Every amenity of good quality in kitchen and baths, decor delightfully fun and charming, comfortable seating/reclining in two living areas, and plenty of room for four adults to cook and relax in comfort. There is pretty much every pot, pan, utensil, and cooking vessel you could need, and yes, of course, a blender. Even the front grounds are welcoming, flowers in bloom and well tended by humans and automatic sprinklers. Full size top-of-the-line clothes washer and dryer, so you can pack minimally. All linens supplied and of good quality.
The owner and his daughter-in-law were wonderful to deal with, and totally responsive to our questions/needs.
Only 2 things to be aware of here:
Firstly, the house is on a main road, so there is traffic noise when you're in the bedrooms. Not enough to interfere with our sleep (however, we do live in New York City) but may be an issue for others.
Secondly, the master bedroom is quite spectacular, however it is one large sleeping and bathroom space, with a huge Jacuzzi bath, but no walls separating the two areas. The second bedroom is considerably smaller, so if you are two couples sharing you'll need to deal with this issue.
We strongly recommend this house, and Traverse City in general. So much to do for everyone, whether you're into the outdoors or shopping or dining or movies or .... minor league baseball! We took in a Traverse City Beach Bums game. Great fun, great ballpark food, for $10 a ticket.
So, by all means rent this home, just not the week we decide we want to come back!

Lovely home with sandy beachfront directly on East Grand Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan!
Lovely home, very clean and spacious with amazing views and large sandy beach directly on East Grand Traverse Bay!
Great proximity to downtown Traverse City and the Old Mission Peninsula. We loved using the kayaks, paddle boat and well equipped outside deck.
The only caution is that this home is on M31/Munson Ave. which is a very busy 4 lane highway so there is definitely street noise very early every morning.
It would also be helpful to have received detailed instructions on the house - how to use the stereo, TV's, coffee maker, heating, cooling, etc. as no instructions were included with the house.
Overall, great home, great location on Lake Michigan.
