Located near the Coconut Cove Recreation and Pool Complex, our Caroline location is ideal for all amenities ... FREE golf for Lifestyle ID holders, access to all the facilities and pools and billiards, tennis, pickle ball, shuffle board, horse shoes, bocce ball, petanque, polo fields, baseball fields, basketball courts, free wifi in all those facilities as well as the home, entertainment every night in the town squares, croquet fields - and the equipment for all the sports.
And don’t forget that the golf is free for Lifestyle ID holders on any of the 32 Executive Golf Courses! Or pay a small premium and play one of the 12 Country Club Championship Courses such as The Arnold Palmer or Nancy Lopez Course.

The home is on a quiet street in Caroline adjacent to Lake Sumter Landing Town Square. In the Master Bedroom there is a King Bed, a second bedroom with a Queen Bed. In addition, there is a comfortable sofa bed in the study when you need extra guest sleeping space. All linens, sheets and towels are supplied.
You’ll have cookware and china in the kitchen and dining areas, and all linens and towels freshly laundered for your use.
If you are considering exploring the area, you can rent a car and take in the Disney attractions about an hour away, and all that Orlando has to offer. Or travel further afield and take in the renowned Florida beaches.
AIRPORT TRANSPORT OPTION / EARLY CHECK-IN -
You might want to take advantage of The Villages Transport that will pick up up at the Orlando Airport for a small fee and deliver you back again at the end of your stay. Many visitors to the Villages feel that there is really no need for a car, as your golf carts can take you most places.
Check in is normally 3 pm, and check out 10:30 AM. However early check in can be accommodated if the home is available before 3pm.

The owner was very pleasant to work with and was available pre, post & during our rental. The home was comfortable for 4 adults to relax and visit. Plenty of towels. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. The bed in the 2nd bedroom, I was told was not comfortable, but when I checked the bed it seemed soft and quite possibly not supportive for some.
The kitchen was fully equipped. We only made breakfast and had everything we needed, the option for drip coffee or Keurig coffee worked out for everyone. The golf cart availability was a plus. However, we didn't use it, as we didn't want to get caught in a rain storm.
Enjoyed the close proximity to Sumter Landing/market square.
Highly recommend and plan to visit again.

Nice property with a very easy golf cart ride to Sumter Landing!!!
My only (but significant) gripe was the request to wash the sheets and towels before leaving the property. 1) This is presumably incorporated in the cost. 2) Who has time for this? I washed the sheets as a courtesy and still waited 20 mins for the wash to finish before we could leave. I would have waited another 40 mins had I washed the towels. Never mind had we used the spare bedroom and had two other loads of sheets and towels. And it was an older washing machine so there was no way to wash sheets and towels together.

My husband and I, along with our dachshund, spent a week at this home in early July 2024. The house was clean, with modern decor and a well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The beds and linens were very nice, and the living room furniture was quite comfortable. We also appreciated the YouTube TV for watching local news and weather while there.
The location was very convenient for many things, including a grocery store, Lake Sumter Square, and golf courses. And it didn't take long to get to Spanish Springs via gold cart, either. We really appreciated the fenced-in backyard for the dog.

I had a wonderful three-month vacation here. The house is just as stated, with everything that I needed. The backyard is enclosed for a pet. There is a golf cart included. The hosts are so attentive, want everything to be perfect for one's stay. I couldn't of asked for a better location. I would positively recommend this home. I will be back also.

In Village of Caroline minutes from Lake Sumter Landing, stores, and restaurants. Short drive to Brownwood or Spanish Springs. We love going to hear music every night in a town square. Home is very clean and fully stocked. Golf cart very useful for short trips. Our second time booking this home, always excellent communication with owners. Private enclosed courtyard villa great for our dog. The beds and furniture are very comfortable, kitchen has everything you need. Home is pretty centrally located in villages for the many activities you will enjoy. TV's with multiple premium channels in every room.

This is a darling property and absolutely the best location. We really enjoyed our stay. The only two semi negatives were that we had to call the owner to adjust the thermostat, as the directions left for it weren’t accurate. Also, when we unmade the bed to wash the sheets, we found stains on the mattress pad. We washed it as well as the sheets. It will be clean for the next renters. 😄

The kitchen was well-stocked, the decor & furnishings immediately made us feel at-home and the entire home was spotless. Plus, we could not have asked for a better location.

This was our first visit to the Villages. The home was perfect for us. Two bedrooms, two baths, very clean and comfortable. Nice patio in back. Golf cart was great and a must have in the Villages.
The location was perfect. Less than five minutes to the town square. Three championship golf courses within 10 minute golf cart ride. Pool nearby.

We loved this place. Location was perfect. The courtyard was great to have for our pup. The neighbors were friendly when taking the pup for a walk. Parked our truck when we arrived and didn’t move it till we departed. The golf car was awesome. The wife and I were talking. This might have been the best stocked vacation rental we have stayed in. Trash bags and paper products etc. Thanks Laurel and Bill. We definitely will be back.

We had a phenomenal stay at Bill and Laurel's Village Gem. From the moment we first chatted, prior to booking, all the way through our last day, we received the best hospitality and thoroughly enjoyed our home away from home.
This unit is beautiful, clean and central to the most ideal sections of the Villages. My girls LOVED the golf cart--a highlight of our trip! We were in super close proximity to the square, the grocery store and community pools. Everything about the home was comfy and enjoyable. This was also the most well-equipped rental we have ever stayed in; the games and activities were an added bonus.
Laurel and Bill were great. They were incredibly fast to reply when we needed anything and they were very flexible to our needs and requests. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy this little piece of Heaven again. Thanks so much, Bill and Laurel! ❤️

The house was comfortable clean. The location was fantastic! Only a couple minutes drive to Sumpter Square and Winn Dixie grocery store. The private backyard was nice too! I didn’t love having to wash the towels and sheets and put them in the dryer before we left. I never mind putting a load in the laundry prior to leaving but waiting for a load to dry before putting the next load in made us leave later than we would have liked. We appreciated having use of the golf cart when we golfed at Mallory Hills golf course which was very close by.

We love the Village Gem! This is our second time staying here and we are already planning on coming back next year. It has become our home away from home. The house has everything you need. You are just a few minute golf cart ride from the square/grocery store. The hosts are great, they respond to any questions is a timely manner. Our daughter is 4 she loves the study which has a love seat and a tv, it is “her own” living room. Can’t wait to return!

Been renting Village homes for several years and this home is by far the best we've seen. The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the dishes and cooking utensils were all very good quality. The appliances even included a Keurig, a Ninja blender, and a nice toaster. Also included was a Yamaha gas golf cart. The owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating to our needs. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

We cannot say how much we enjoyed the home, the location and the amenities. We enjoyed taking the golf cart and listening to live music at Market Square. We ate appetizers at RJ Gators and lived a dinner at Redsauce. We met local family at Sonny’s for lunch and ate at First Watch and Flying Biscuit for breakfasts. Everything was exceptional. We would do this again.

A Wonderful Stay in The Villages Florida
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath home in the Villages of Caroline in Florida! They had everything we needed as kitchen was well stocked and all of our needs were met! We loved having the Golf Cart to zip around in! Hopefully we can return again next year to visit family!

Great accommodations but was a tad concerned with the check out process.
My experience was great except in comparison to other VRBO’s that I have stayed in I have NEVER been asked to do towel laundry or bed sheet laundry before I checked out it in the early morning.. The reason stayed was because the maid didn’t have the appropriate time to accomplish these tasks. Totally unacceptable . Maybe consider hiring a new maid or an additional maid or maid service. Everything else was great and very highly rated.

Location was great. Really a short golf cart ride to Sumter Landing. We didn’t even rent a car. Other areas were very easy to get to as well. The Villages were beautiful!

Location Location Location!
The Village Gem is PERFECTLY located just a few minute golf cart ride to Winn Dixie and just a couple more to the square! Golf cart included was a great bonus. The property is clean and fully stocked for all our needs. Laural and Bill were very attentive when we had a couple questions. We have family that lives in The Villages and we plan to stay at this property again!

We enjoyed are stay for the 3 months we were there. The location was ideal, the property was exactly as the pictures displayed and the owners were very attentive to any of our needs. We would highly recommend this rental.
