Plenty of room for three of us. Loved the outdoor seating area. Hosts were kind enough to let us have Amazon deliveries sent to us.

We only stayed 2 nights in Boulder. The location was perfect to walk everywhere. There is a lovely private patio that we used in the morning (still on east coast time). The unit was beautiful and unique. The owners communicated with us and worked with us to get us in on time. It was private and felt like our own home. I would recommend for anyone who would like to be able to walk around Boulder and be able to relax. It was a beautiful home and town.

Great location!! The hosts were so close they treated me like family. I was late for a wedding rehearsal dinner and they gave me a ride to Pearl Street. Thank you!!

The property was very clean. Richard was welcoming and easy to work with. Check in was easy. The location was perfect. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Great location to explore Boulder and lots of on-street parking, which helped because we visited on a very busy weekend. The place was not at all spotless (nor was the extra bedding), which begs the question of these hefty cleaning fees. Felt private (no in-person communication with upstairs owners) and we appreciated the laundry. BUT, the huge double fridge in the kitchen hummed ceaselessly, and the stairs to the owner's upstairs home created a sense of feeling like we were just staying in their basement rather than in a separate guest suite. Overall, I'd say overpriced for what it is, but they're banking on the location to get you to book it at this price-point.

The place was spotless and very comfortable. Location is absolutely perfect. Easy walk to Pearl street restaurants and bars. We hope to stay here again.

Truely a lovely place to stay. Well-appointed and cared for.
I was in town for work. The built in office was a nice asset as was the on street parking pass and walkable location.
Had a great stay. Hopefully I'll have a chance to return sooner then later.

This guest space is beautiful and spacious. There is a queen sized bed in the main room and a pull-out couch in a separate room. Lots of privacy!
I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was perfectly located and had everything we needed for a lovely visit to Boulder. Communication with the host was excellent and we appreciated the opportunity to get in a little early. Always love being able to walk to restaurants. We had full privacy and had no issues with noise form above. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was very classy and VERY convenient. There could have been a few less spider webs (and spiders). And although the marketing of the property does disclose that it is in a basement, the upstairs occupants (the hosts) are a very active and heavy-footed couple. That said, we enjoyed the place very much.

Great easy hiking near historic downtown. Drove to Estes Park, shopped, hiked Lily Lake, walked to Stanley Hotel.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay during our trip! The place is very spacious and in a great location near many stores, restaurants, etc. The owners were very friendly and they were very easy to communicate with as needed. The check-in/check-out process was also very simple. Definitely worth the stay if you are in the area!
6.0 / 10.0
It was a clean and welcoming environment. But we did not see that it was a rental space that is also shared with the owners. They come and go from the rental as they wish while renters are there. So privacy is limited to almost non existent. The bedroom area is in the front of the rental and has no complete privacy or way to close it off

This property is located just two blocks from Pearl Street. The location could not be any better for dinner, shopping, and even trails located within a mile. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great visit. The apartment is lovely, comfortable, and well stocked. Hosts are a gracious couple who are fully available without any hovering. Private patio is a great perk on nice evenings. Home is easily accessible to restaurants, shopping district and public transit but still very peaceful. Highly recommend.

Super smooth check-in, unique spot to stay, feels like a downtown Boulder home experience. Easy walk to Pearl Street (such an awesome spot!) makes it great for a night out to dinner & drinks. Definitely recommend!

We typically have a few main criteria when picking a place to stay in Boulder. We don’t spend a lot of time indoors when we’re here. We like to be able to quickly get to hiking and then be able walk to dining and shopping. Pearl Street is an easy 3-4 minute walk. The stay at the house included street parking right in front, so there was never a need to drive to Pearl and pay to park. The bed and pillows were comfortable and just as pictured. There is a nice sitting area outside to enjoy the weather. Numerous grocery stores and shopping nearby. Almost every hike was a 15 minute drive from the house which was perfect.
The space has a nice indoor sitting area near the bed and fireplace and a large closet with dresser for your clothes.
The bathroom is exactly as pictured and the shower had good water pressure.
The unit has a free standing air conditioner in the suite which works perfectly for the space. We were here at the end of summer so it wasn’t cool enough to keep windows open yet. There was also a small turbo fan for those who need white noise.
A few items of note 1) the suite is down a flight of stairs, so if you have any issues with stairs this may not work for you; 2) as stated, the suite is completely private, however there is a shared area where the washer and dryer are, that being said, we never bumped into the owners in the shared area; 3) there is a TV, located in the 2nd sitting room off of the kitchen area.
Overall, great stay!

This place was so cute and quaint! It was a great place for a casual girls night and bridal party prep space. I thought it would be weird having people above us, but you didn’t even notice. The family was so nice and made it a point to say hello during our stay and congratulate us!

This property is in the basement of the owners' house. Richard was extremely responsive and proactive in making sure we would have a smooth check-in. The location is in a very pleasant neighborhood with historic Victorians and a small park. The 2-block walk to Pearl Street can't be beat. I'd recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner, as those were not provided. We would be happy to return.

Great surprisingly spacious apartment that was very well appointed. The kitchen was particularly nice, but everything was beautifully done. Outdoor space was also a great little bonus. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Our visit at Kelly and Richard's home was so comfortable and enjoyable because of the extra considerations they gave to our stay. We had wifi that worked great, found little toys for our granddaughter to play with, books to explore, the AC was running so our room was cool at check-in, we had coffee, cocoa, oatmeal and more set out for us, we had a quiet and homey location for neighborhood walking, and even walked up Mapleton Street to do some walking/hiking on the Sanitas Trail. Pearl Street restaurant dining was amazing and literally a 5-10 minute walk. 5 stars for our experience! Thank you!

We were in Boulder for a week with our two dogs for a hiking vacation. We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. We were a 5 minute walk from Pearl Street with its great retail stores, restaurants and coffee shops. World class hikes were within a 45 minute drive. The neighborhood couldn’t be more charming. And the hosts were accessible, helpful, and fun to talk to.

Our visit to Boulder was cut short by COVID-19. Richard and Kelly were understanding and helped work out a compromise partial refund of our unused days, for which we were appreciative.Of the property, as stated before, the suite is the basement floor of the owners' home. There is a separate entrance, and abundant overhead lighting, but limited natural light and some sounds from above, as would be expected in a basement. The kitchen not exactly a discreet space, but rather a collection of cooking appliances (microwave and toaster oven in office area cabinet, hot plate in storage cabinet above breakfast table, coffee maker and toaster on breakfast table) gathered near the utility sink, washer and dryer, and very large basement fridge. I would not recommend trying to cook a meal for a large gathering here, but you can definitely whip together a simple dinner if, for example, social distancing prevents eating out regularly. Otherwise, this property is walking distance to Pearl Street Mall, where restaurants abound, when open. The queen bed has a thick, very soft pillow-top, so stomach sleepers may need to try out the other bed, a fold-out couch. The walk-in shower in the single bathroom is generous and gorgeous. Plus pet-friendly, but without evidence of previous pets, i.e. clean.

Great place - convenient location!
We had a five-star experience while staying here during our short trip to Boulder. The space was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It’s a really attractive unit, with hardwood floors, exposed brick, multiple sitting areas, and a few windows letting in natural light despite it being a basement suite.
Our hosts made sure we were well stocked with towels, linens, and the like. There’s plenty of closet/drawer space to store your things. We didn’t cook while we were there, but the unit can accommodate that. It included everything short of a stove (we spotted a toaster, microwave, hot plate, coffee maker, and a large fridge). A washer and dryer were on-site, too.
The real advantage of using this place for your trip to Boulder is the location. It’s just a short walk to the Pearl Street Mall and the surrounding downtown attractions. If you’re looking to hike, you can reach some trailheads by car in a few minutes. We barely used our car during our stay.
The unit is pet friendly. Our dogs were able to use the fenced-in yard for bathroom trips and there’s a small park around the corner as well.
Kelly and Richard were polite and friendly when we chatted, and they were hands-off during our stay. All in all, this is a great place to call home during your next trip to Boulder!
