About this bed and breakfast
This warm, boutique cottage, nestled in a grotto in the heart of Manitou Springs, has a private, dedicated 2-person hot tub!
The private, 310 sq. ft. dwelling is surrounded by nature, & just seconds' walk to coffee houses, restaurants, specialty shops, galleries, mineral springs fountains, hiking trails. Bike or drive to Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon Park, Cave of the Winds, & more. Enjoy quiet, uplifted hospitality.
This renovated 1896 cottage used to serve as the wheel repair house for the Manitou Livery. Free, private parking is on site. Easy in and out to area attractions. The Nest is located half a block from Manitou Avenue, yet is surprisingly private and surrounded by nature.
A full-sized memory foam bed with an adjustable bed frame sits in the private bedroom.
The living room is perfect for lounging, and the couch becomes a full-sized bed for one additional adult guest or a child.
The kitchenette is conveniently set up to make a hot cup of coffee or espresso (Nespresso machine in the kitchen), for light meal preparation and for storing munchies for your stay. And help yourself to the healing, naturally carbonated, free Manitou Springs mineral water bubbling up in fountains around town during your stay.
Experience the privacy of a grotto garden, with limestone retaining wall and patio seating, both in front of the cottage and in a nature nook off of the bedroom.
Come and go as you please via the North walkway along the side of the main house or meander up the stone steps for an invigorating walk through the charming neighborhoods into the trail-filled foothills of Manitou Springs.
Your host, Chris teaches yoga online and at Sunwater Spa, located nearby. Friend him on FB or go to YogaHomeCOS site for details. Someone will be on site or on call for the duration of your stay. Text the owners with any questions, concerns, or needs.
Transportation
The cottage is located in the heart Manitou Springs, just seconds' walk to coffee houses, restaurants, specialty shops, galleries, mineral springs and local trails, including Red Mountain, Iron Mountain, Barr, and Ute Pass Trail, Rainbow Falls, Williams Canyon and the Manitou Incline. Cycle to the Garden of the Gods or Red Rock Canyon Park and marvel at incredible red rock formations or drive up the nearby highway to the summit of America's Mountain, Pike's Peak.
Manitou Springs no longer hosts the trolley that long ago took people from Colorado Springs and neighboring Old Colorado City to and from Manitou, but one can take the same journey using the #3 bus which features stops in several locations along Manitou Avenue. A free shuttle operates on a 20-minute cycle for in town transport from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and will take one to and from Eastern Manitou Springs and the Cog Railway, the Manitou Incline and Barr Trail Head on Ruxton Avenue in Southwestern Manitou.
Walking remains the easiest and healthiest form of transport in the town, and most of what one needs is readily accessible by foot.

The Nest was the cuttest cottage with a private hot tub for 2 in all of Manitou Springs! It was the perfect weekend getaway location for my Sisterfriend and me. We were able to walk to downtown in minutes. Once there, you'll absolutely fallin love with the town and the people. if you're looking for a place to stay in the Manitou Springs area, this charming, cute little cottage could be just the place you're looking for!

My daughter and I enjoyed a four-day stay at the Nest- a small yet cozy and welcoming cabin within walking distance of everything we had planned (using the shuttle service). The host was responsive, check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and their home was well-equipped with everything we needed and more! Thank you for sharing your place!

Adorable small house, the women in my wedding party got ready here throughout the morning and my new husband and I stayed here after the wedding. Because it's so small, some amenities were hard to find in various nooks, but the hosts were perfect and helpful with everything!

Perfect for a couple! Hot tub was great once it reached temp, took a day though. 6'+ beware of low bridge throughout. Hit my head a few times.

This was the perfect place to stay! We walked a minute to get downtown. You have a parking spot, so you don't have to deal with street parking.

Perfect little spot for a weekend getaway. Everything you could possibly need was provided for us and the location was just steps away from downtown Manitou Springs. And coffee just tastes better at 6400 feet!

The Nest is perfectly located in Manitou Springs. We were able to walk anywhere downtown within a few minutes. The hot tub was great. Note: Use caution when entering and exiting the parking area if you have a full-size truck or SUV as to not hit the garage overhang. We didn't have any issues, just worth mentioning so you won't either.

We are a retired couple who had cabin fever and needed a quick getaway. We chose Manitou Springs, which was not too far from Cotopaxi, Co. We booked the "Nest", because it was only a block from main street, and had a free shuttle to ride the COG to Pike's Peak and back. This was a very great choice on our part!!
The cabin was very well decorated and very quaint for just the 2 of us. We had to only use our car twice, once to get there and to leave! Everything was so close. The bed was super comfortable for a great night sleep, The hosts were amazing and provided everything we needed without us asking! We actually did all our Christmas shopping at all the great stores!! We truly recommend the "Nest" not only it's such a super cute place, but because the hosts were top notched in every way!
P.S. The wine was delicious!! Thank You! Richard & Carol Ann Jenkins

Charming Cottage
Nice little historic cottage. Would be hard to beat the location. Could walk to middle of Main Street in two minutes. Having the little parking lot was great. Once we parked our car didn’t have to move it till we left. Enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Cottage
Adorable little place good for 1 or two people max. It has all you need for quick serve food, rest and a shower. It is about 20 feet long by 10 feet wide plus the small bedroom if that helps. The online pics are great real estate pics but they tend to stretch things wider than they are. We enjoyed this as a mother in law suite for our larger family home rental up the street. It was her little escape from the noise and she loved it. It is in a great location for walking to all the things in Manitou and along the free shuttle path. Great view of the main street and lights and even comes with its own deer who nibbles around the yard sometimes. There is good parking but needs a better heater for colder nights. All in all cute and cozy cottage.

Great cozy spot
Came to this place looking for some peace and quiet and found just that! It was perfect in so many ways. It has everything you need. Just up the hill from some great restaurants and shopping. And a short drive to some beautiful sites to see. Although it’s nestled in the middle of pure beauty!

Most amazing location, and very helfpul staff
You are less than a block from the downtown area (yet it still feels quiet/secluded). The nest is really cute--small everything and perfect for me and my son. I would stay here again--likely will, next time with my daughter. Thank you Chris, and all who helped make our stay pretty amazing!

Warm and inviting home away from home!
Lovely little place tucked away and only one block from Manitou Ave. for lots of shopping adventures. Although small, still plenty of room for two people especially since we were there to get out and see the sights. Hosts were accommodating and anxious to provide whatever we needed. I would certainly return and recommend it to others. Thanks Jake and Chris for providing a warm and inviting home away from home.

Fun little property in a great location
The property was everything we needed and the owner was attentive. No problems with the rental and the owner was proactive in checking out how things were going with us. There is a guidebook in the property that lays out pretty well what to expect. You'll want to open a window in the bedroom in the summer to cool the room but the neighborhood is pretty safe so no worries!

The Nest in Manitou
Sweet location with great access to the strip. Like the post says, the place is very “cozy”. It’s very clean and well kept. A place for parking in proximity to the downtown area was primary reason for choosing this house and it was super convenient having a place to park the truck close. We could get in and out to see the sights around town just fine (especially if you get out early in the morning). The house is just a bit tight for a family of 4 with all your gear on a multiple day stay, but if you like each other it’s no problem. Property manager was super responsive and helpful.

Great location!
Felt secluded but close to shops and restaurants. It was nice to have parking off the street. Parking was small but not too tight, enough room to fit a small SUV.

Perfect spot!
The Nest was perfect for our hiking get away. It was a great basecamp for short drive hiking adventures in the area and then allowed us to walk- without worrying about parking- to everything in Manitou. Even though it’s right off of downtown, you would never know it from all the lush vegetation. I had a perfect spot for yoga every morning outside and we enjoyed the many birds, squirrels, and deer that happen by. The owners hospitality was top notch! We are pretty easy but it was clear that if we needed anything Chris was available. He really cared about providing a great experience and was knowledgeable with a variety of suggestions of things to do in the area. We definitely plan to stay here again on our next trip to Manitou!

Great Locale!
Small and quaint cottage. It was perfect for just my wife and I. We loved the location. Was steps away from shopping and local coffee shops. We also took a short walk to the Red Mountain hiking trail. The owner, Christopher, was great. He was very friendly and gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat.
