About this house rental

This quintessential Cape Cod Cottage is just a short walk down a quiet sandy road to a private Association Beach. The 3 bedroom, ranch style home with updated bathroom is the perfect spot to relax after a sunny, beach filled day.

The house includes a fully stocked kitchen and family room with flat screen TV/DVD/Blu Ray player/Cable and Wireless Internet. The sliding glass doors open up to a sunny deck and let the natural light pour into the home. 3 Bedrooms including 2 with Queen beds and oversized 3rd bedroom that includes 3 twin beds. Guests need to provide their own linens (sheets and towels are NOT provided)

The outside space includes a private back yard, a deck with picnic table to enjoy al fresco dining, several Adirondack chairs around the fire pit to sit and enjoy the starry night, as well as both a gas and a charcoal grill. Unwind in the large updated outdoor shower to rinse off when you return from the beach. Washer and dryer included in basement. Complimentary wagons provided to bring your beach chairs, coolers, and sand toys to the beach.

If you prefer a day at the ocean, The National Seashore is just a short 5 minute drive. Plenty to do to keep busy in the area including restaurants, a step back in time at the Drive-in Theatre, mini golf, hiking, biking on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, bird watching, golfing, and shopping. Everything you need is close at hand yet far enough away to get lost in Cape Cod.

We loved staying in this great cottage! Even nicer than the pictures and a short walk to the ocean. Very clean and well equipped! Loved the outdoor shower and fire pit! Had a lovely stay and only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend!

We loved this quiet, tucked away home on a dirt road! Close enough to walk to private Beach on the bay side. Out little ones loved exploring and digging during low tide and swimming during high tide. Great star gazing at night. Highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and unwind. We hope to come again!

This was the cutest beach cottage! It's on a quiet, private lane, a quarter mile walk from the beach, and perfectly situated to explore the National Seashore beaches. The house is cozy and super inviting. Even though there is only one bathroom, there is a great outdoor shower. The yard and gardens are beautiful, complete with fairy lights at night. We loved our stay and would love to come back sometime!

Sarah was great to deal with and the cottage is even nicer in person than in the pics. Amazing quiet beach is a very close walk away. Nice to have large capacity laundry onsite with our big group. We had to travel light so it was handy to be able to do some wash. All the extra toys, wagons, chairs, etc are provided so we didn't have to pack those either. Very pretty yard where we got to watch the hummingbirds and other wildlife over morning coffees. Outdoor shower is excellent! It's def a 4.5 stay, but VRBO doesn't allow for halves;) We did not have the best weather so spent more time indoors than planned -- for 6 adults the main living area is a bit tight. Also the outdoor eating area is just one picnic table, which is a bit tight for 6 adults. These factors are the only reason I hesitate to rate it full 5-stars. If you are 7 adults (which we almost were) I would not recommend. For 4 or 5 people, it would be awesome!

Had a great stay here. House is on a private, quiet road with access to a private beach less than 1/4 mile away. House is dog friendly and has full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and outdoor shower. There is also a fire pit with chairs, small deck with couch, lounge chairs and picnic table. There is also washer/dryer and beach equipment in basement with storage for your bicycles. We rode our bikes to a nearby ice cream spot that isn't very busy (The Landing) and you can ride to the CC Rail Trail about 1.5 miles from house. Everything is as advertised and we would definitely come back again.

This property was so cute! Bigger plot and bigger house than I thought. Directions for the keys was easy to follow. Finding the house was pretty easy, until the end our gps told us we arrived 2 houses before we actually did. The only downside was the listing said there was air conditioning and there actually wasn’t. We had a great time, and the cottage was perfect for us.

You can’t beat the location and our host was fantastic. Short walk to the beach with the most incredible sunsets, nearby yoga on the beach, convenient to the bike trail, plenty of good spots to eat, and easy access to Ptown or the lower cape. Even our dog was spoiled by the easy access to the beach and didn’t want to leave. Definitely interested in returning in the future!

This house was perfect for our family and pets! We vacation in Eastham every other year with our extended family and it was a great location, near the beach, and dog friendly. The outdoor shower and garden were an added bonus. Sarah was also a great host!

Perfect weather every single day! Adorable cottage on a quiet sandy street just a short stroll to the beautiful private beach. Pretty gardens in the yard that attracted hummingbirds, goldfinches, chickadees, and a pair of mourning doves that took daily baths in the bird bath and bickered in the trees above. Regular visits from a turkey family passing through our yard heading to wherever turkeys go?! Hammocks for relaxing after biking and beach days. Morning beach walks and gorgeous sunsets. Evening corn hole tournaments. Our week included biking, hiking, swimming, mini golfing, whale watching, seal spotting, shell seeking, s’mores at the firepit, shopping, PTown, and lots of good eating (all nearby)!! The perfect mixture of relaxation and adventure. Everything a Cape vacation should be!! Great communication with Sarah!!

The photos don't do justice to the charm of the house, or to the tranquility of the neighborhood. The house is clean, well-stocked (kitchen, blankets, books, toys) and spacious enough for a family of four + dog. The outdoor shower is a gem. The location is divine - quiet, sandy roads that lead to the bay beach - so so beautiful. The stairs up and down to the beach are no joke - that's the only consideration if you have someone in your group with mobility issues. Otherwise - wonderful. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful week in Eastham staying at this house. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay at the beach. The humans appreciated the short walk to the lovely bayside beach, and the dog really loved the big yard he could play in. Even the neighbors were friendly and made us feel welcome! We were very pleased with this blissful bay side home. The house and property are embellished with peaceful decorations. We discovered new delightful surprises throughout the week. The provided amenities are more than enough to enjoy your time at the beach. We arrived at the very clean home with everything just as described. I was so happy to find a pet-friendly short-term rental for Labor Day weekend so close to the beach. Sarah was wonderful to work with and made check-in and out and communication a breeze. The property has a lot of yard space, a nice fire pit, and garden area, and is no more than 3-minute walk to the private bayside beach which is beautiful to walk out during low tide or watch sunsets. (Note: there are steep stairs down to the beach). We also used the outdoor shower and hose for our dog. Very convenient to National Seashore beaches and Rte. 6 restaurants.

We come to Cape Cod every summer, but this was the first time I have been able to walk 3 minutes in my PJs to see the beach! It really took our trip to the next level. I felt so connected to the bay, the tide, the sunset...and all of the neighbors who gather on the steps to watch it! The house has everything you need for the beach and outdoor play. Chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, wiffle balls and bats, full size cornhole just to name a few. Also a great wagon to haul it all! It was a magical week.

This is our second time staying here and it was just as lovely as our first time. The cottage is nicely decorated, both inside and out. The outdoor shower is wonderful. The cottage offers privacy and is only a 5 minute walk from a private beach. I would definitely recommend this cottage for families with children. What a wonderful cottage!

The house was clean and decorated well. There were entertainment options at the home for relaxing and socializing. The outdoor shower was a very nice amenity. It was so nice to have access to a private beach. There were no crowds like some of the other areas we saw. We definitely recommend the Fairway restaurant that is close to this home for breakfast. Sarah was a great host!

Sarah’s place was absolutely perfect. Extremely clean, on a very quiet sand road and a short walk to a private beach. Even on Labor Day weekend there were only one or two other families on the beach. The house had absolutely everything you could think of. Fully stocked kitchen, air conditioning and fans, a million blankets and pillows, Roku, books, binoculars, and really interesting art. Outside there was a tree swing, two hammocks, grill, fire pit, lawn chairs, and the whole place lit up with twinkle lights at night. We had fires every night and listened to screech owls and the waves. It wasn’t technically baby proofed, but was still very safe for our 1 year old, who had even more fun than we did. Sarah has created pure magic. Would definitely come back!

The place was cozy and perfect. With a BBQ and a outdoor Patio we very much enjoyed the property. My wife liked the outdoor shower. But the location is everything and with kids under the age of 3 the Bay is a 2 min walk and the kids can play for literal miles without the water getting to deep.

This was a great property for our family to experience our first vacation to Cape Cod. The house was clean and comfortable inside, and the outdoor space was fantastic! The host was great and very responsive. The beach was outstanding and a very close walk. The location was great for getting to other activities such as visiting Wellfleet Harbor, bike riding the rail trail, and visiting the ocean beaches. We highly recommend this property and would love to stay again!

Highly recommended for this cozy lovely house, great location to P town as well as well Chatham. Enjoy the private beach that my pre-teen got a chance to fly a kit when it was low tides.. we will rent the property again when we are back to the area.
