This house was the BEST! Unreal location, and perfect house. Was right outside of town, and was super close to ocean as well, nice quiet neighborhood also. Can see the ocean from the deck, and had everything we needed. Very easy check-in and was very flexible with our group. This is a MUST if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing beach weekend.

1. Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The property is nestled in a prime location, right across from the beach. We loved the private deck with ocean views. Its a great location in the heart of Montauk.
2. Comfort and Amenities: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The house was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed.
3. Host Communication: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The host was responsive and accommodating. They provided clear instructions for check-in and were available throughout our stay to answer any questions.

We had a wonderful stay! Location is perfect. Can’t beat the view and sound of the ocean from the deck. House is great and well equipped with anything you might need. Online description is accurate and upgrades were made since the pics so even better! Sean is great, totally accessible, warm and welcoming.

Another great vacation at this perfect beach house! So great to be back at Ditch Plains and this house is just a stones throw from all the action. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. We love having breakfast on the deck while watching the beach just across the street start to come alive. The two family rooms works out fantastic to give teens and adults a separate spot to unwind. Everything you could possibly need is there at the house. Clean and comfortable. Host is very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to returning!

We've stayed in numerous houses in Ditch and Sean's house cant be beat. The location is as good as it gets and the views of from the deck are better in person than the photos. Sean was a pleasure to deal with and we plan to come back!

I rented this house with a group of guys, but my child and wife came for the last two days. The house was ideal for both experiences. Depending on what experience you’re looking for, the owner is “the man” or “an absolute gentleman.”
I did a lot of research into other places in Montauk, and I can safely say that this one in terms of location, comfort, ease, owner and every other variable is FAR superior. Don’t overthink this and just stay here if at all possible.

My group of girlfriends and I absolutely loved the home! The home had everything we needed and the location was perfect - right across the street from the beach and a quick car ride to town for any shopping/bars/restaurants/train station. The owner provided key information before the trip and was available if we needed anything. I Would highly recommend and stay again in the future.

We spent two weeks at this great house last summer and can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it. The house is lovely inside; updated kitchen, bathrooms, beautiful furnishings and great outside deck furniture and space. We were two families and our kids loved taking over the downstairs bedrooms and living space for themselves while the adults could have our own space on second floor! We watched sunsets on the deck and enjoyed many meals listening to the sound of the ocean. And you can't get a better location for the beach! We could walk across the street any time and be in the sand in 2 minutes. The owner was a pleasure to work with, easy and helpful. Great family vacation spot!

My family and I have been renting this house for the last 11 years. It's just across the street from the beach - a perfect location. We were here during Hurricane Irene and happily, no flooding. The house is on a bit of a rise. However, I fail to see how this house sleeps 14 unless the new couches in the living room open and then, who wants to sleep in the living room? The clothing in the closets in the rooms on the bottom tends to get quite damp. It's dark and damp down there. The outside steps leading to the top floor are poorly constructed and are very slippery when wet. The outside shower doesn't drain. The "spacious" backyard has room for a tent which will be needed to accommodate the overflow of people. There is no way 14 people can be comfortable in this house.
Where will 14 people park? The driveway(s) - parking can be done on both sides of the house - can barely accommodate 6 cars.
We were 5 old cousins and the rent was $19,000 for five weeks - expensive but doable. There's no way we can afford the current rental. Our parties never lasted past 10:00 p.m. - it's a quiet neighborhood and we respected our neighbors.
We lived here comfortably for 11 summers with 5 people and the occasional company. It's a basic house in a quiet neighborhood across the street from the beach.
