Private home with beautiful views of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Less than 10 minutes to Alta & Snowbird ski resorts. Close to Brighton and Park City skiing as well. Newly refinished and ready for your relaxing vacation. Enjoy the gas fireplace and watch the snow fall. Easy walk to the Bus / Park and ride to both Alta & Snowbird resorts. Access to Hot tub and BBQ grill. Gazebo area. Living area with large HD TV, bluRay and direct TV with movie channels, Dining area, Washer & Dryer, Full bathroom on the main level. 1 bedroom on main and 1 large bedroom upstairs with 1/2 bathroom. Loft has a twin size bed, comfy love seat, 32 inch HD TV with BluRay and lots of DVD's. Ski storage. The Ivy Cottage pleasantly surprised my friends and me. Erick greeted us and gave us a tour first thing, pointing out helpful items and ideas as he went. The house itself is at the back of a garage, and is charmingly constructed, with one bedroom and a full bathroom with laundry downstairs, a nook in the upstairs with a sofa, tv, and bed, and another bedroom with a half bath off of it on the other half of the room. The kitchen and living room downstairs are perfectly suited for small gatherings and more well-suited to cooking and hanging out for four mid-forties and up women. The kitchen is incredibly well supplied with utensils, dinnerware, storage containers and foils/wraps. One of the loveliest parts was the yard. There is a comfortable seating and separate dining area just outside the house, with a small fence to separate the area from the owner's yard and their dogs. They welcomed us to use their yard too, with a huge couch with a fantastic view of Little Cottonwood at the west end of the property. I was able to put up my hammock and enjoy some reading on the trees to the north end of the property. The small a/c units did an admirable job of cooling the unit, and the bathrooms were very clean, tidy, and well-stocked. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if budget and plans allow it, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cozy, gorgeous, convenient location.

Such a wonderful little property! Perfect for me and my family. Loved the secluded area and view of the mountains. The hosts were so kind and so thoughtful about everything they provided in their rental. Really enjoyed our stay!

This is an amazing property as close as you can get to the mouth of Little Cottonwood. 15 minutes from Alta. The hosts are amazing and the property is perfect. Extremely clean and has everything you need from the kitchen to boot warmers and even spare goggles and gloves!

This was our second year staying at the Ivy Cottage over spring break to ski at SLC area resorts. It is very convenient, cozy place to stay right near the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Alta and Snowbird are less than 30 min drive from the doorstep. It's also very close to anything you might need in town apres ski. Hosts are top notch and we will be back!

This lovely little spot was the PERFECT location between Little Cottonwood and Big Cottonwood Canyons for an Ikon ski trip. The owners were friendly and conscientious; the hot tub was hot, it is close to a good grocery store and a liquor store, and I can't think of a better location to ski Alta/Snowbird and Solitude/Brighton. It is well equipped, has a full kitchen, and a cozy gas fireplace. We loved our stay at the Ivy Cottage.

This is a great set up for skiers who want to be close to the slopes. The spaces are a little tight but the rental fee is accordingly lower than most two bedroom accommodations. The owners are easily accessable and friendly and make you feel right at home. No pets policy is a plus for those of us with allergies!

The location is amazing—- 17mins to Alta, and very convenient to get to supermarkets, restaurants, etc. The cottage is so cute and charming, well maintained and decorated. The owners are very thoughtful to have pretty much everything you need in the house, including toys for toddlers…My husband and I first stayed in 2019, and this time we came with our 4-year old. It’s a perfect property for our family skiing trip…Will be back.

Shauna and Eric are absolutely fantastic hosts. They have thought of everything! Ivy cottage is adorable and the views are breathtaking. The check-in process was super easy and the cottage was warm and inviting. We helped ourselves to some snacks and spent some time in the hot tub. My husband and I each enjoyed a good night's sleep in the comfy upstairs bed. Eric came over when we first arrived to welcome us and answer any questions we may have. The hosts do live on the property but after we checked in we did not see them for the rest of our stay. Eric let us know that he would be happy to help us with whatever we needed but also wanted to respect our privacy. I highly recommend Ivy Cottage to anyone visiting Salt Lake City.

Fabulous weekend. We wanted for nothing! Everything was thought of and provided for. It was a perfect little getaway. Close to amazing views & beautiful hikes to see the fall foliage. We loved every minute in this cozy cottage. Didn't realize we would literally share a slice of paradise with the owners (cottage is behind their garage and in their backyard) but it wasn't an issue at all. Complete privacy. Would definitely recommend!

We only stayed for two nights but would have happily stayed longer if we could have done so. The hosts of the Ivy Cottage could not have been more accommodating. Their short introductory video was quite accurate and informative. This is a weird comment but: the paper products for the kitchen and restrooms made us all happy because they did not fall apart immediately. It is a lovely place and I would suggest to anyone looking for a VRBO in Salt Lake City give it a try.

This is my second stay at Ivy Cottage. Just as wonderful as the 1st time. Eric and Shaunna are the most perfect hosts. The location is beyond words, especially the beautiful canyon views. The cottage is accurately described and all the little extra goodies for you is such a nice touch. The kitchen is also Well Stocked, including coffee, spices and everything you need. My husband and I chose the area for our vacation because we wanted to be around a peaceful setting and to be able to do some hikes. The Ivy Cottage was absolutely perfect for this! Breathtaking views from the backyard, and walking distance or short drives to several trailheads. Within the Cottage, the hosts have really thought of everything we might need (plus some bonuses like the snacks for us when we first arrived), and they had great recommendations for hiking and restaurants, anything we wanted to know. Just the perfect experience for us to escape our responsibilities for a bit and enjoy time as a couple!

We had such a wonderful experience at this property. It is one of our favorite VRBO stays ever! The owners are very hospitable and friendly and make you feel right at home. This place was by far my favorite place we've ever stayed. The hosts went above and beyond to be sure every need was met. 10 outta 10 reccomend and we'll definitely be back! The hottub and homemade salsa was on point and the m&ms delightful. Next time we'll definitely take you up on the massage! The place had everything you could want. The location was good. I did find some dirty dishes. The small dogs need obedience training. I would have liked to stay longer but I needed to return to work. They need to upgrade the shower head.
