The house was great for us. 5 friends. Quick walk to beach 🌴 FYI bring beach towel's, floats for pool and blow dryer. 🌴 Would definitely go again 😃

The location is ideal; super short walk to the beach. The surrounding neighborhood is great for walking/biking. Publix is very close, maybe a mile away. The Reef restaurant is also nearby and the food is excellent! Vilano Beach is the perfect distance from Saint Augustine. I highly recommend this stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was clean, and within easy walking distance to get to the beach.

The only thing we didn’t realize before booking was that all three bedrooms are upstairs. It wasn’t a big deal, we were just thinking one bedroom was downstairs. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool the most! This was the first time that me, my kids, and grandkids all stayed in the same house together, and it was so much fun! It was also the first time staying on Vilano Beach instead of St. Augustine Beach and we enjoyed it so much we’re thinking about going back next year! Thank you for allowing us to rent CoCo’s Beach Cottage for the week!

Home was clean, as advertised and perfect for our family. Would rent from them again!

This beach house had no beach towels, no beach umbrella or tent, one broken beach chair and 3 ancient, disgusting chairs. Ants covered the walkway and lawn(don't know if these were fire ants or not). House can sleep 10, we were 6, And had to wash towels on a daily basis just for bathing. They certainly was
not enough to use as beach towels. There was no plastic glassware to use by the pool
Tha extra sheets were scatchy and as hard as cardboard. Overall we had a decent time but would have had a much better experience if it had the proper amenities you'd expect a beach house to have.

Our family had a great stay over spring break. Location is great with short walk to beach. Pool was a hit with our grandkids. A few small improvements would make it even better - more silverwear, some new nonstick pans and a smart TV in the living room.

Check in process was easy, the layout of the home is good for the privacy upstairs and kitchen downstairs. We visited over Spring Break and the space needed major cleaning. Grass needed mowed, pool was Sandy and had stuff in it, tons of trash out front, and pillows were unusable. The pool is tiny w no hangout space out back. The place including the windows needs a good pressure wash. We were happy to snag a place last minute at the beach but definitely overpaid for this. Someone needs to take a week off renting it and get it back in rental shape for that kind of money.

I really didn’t see anything extra for the ‘VRBO experience’ There was no welcome basket or notebook with information about the tv remotes and/or restaurants and activities. The 50 steps to beach was a little bit deceptive. We were disappointed the pool was full of leaves.

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Coco's Beach Cottage. Very close to the beach and short drive to historic St. Augustine. Communications with the owner were very good!

This property was perfect for my family! The property was beautiful, and located right across the street from the beach. The neighbors were so welcoming, helpful with directions and suggestions for entertainment and dining, and their fur babies were adorable as well. I would definitely stay there again. This area of the beach seemed more private making it clean and relaxing.

Perfect
My husband and I spent the week at Coco’s Beach Cottage with my brother and his wife, and it was perfect! Everything was just right! The pool is small, but so nice! The management was responsive to our (minor) problem and solved it immediately. We would highly recommend this house. The beach is beautiful and scarcely populated. The location is nice because it’s quiet, but close to St. Augustine.

Lovely area with uncrowded beach’s and easy access to the water. The only draw back to this property is that the cooking utensils could use a serious updating!

Great family trip
Clean house with lovely pool just 5 minute walk from the beach. Kitchen is well supplied and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.

We liked the house for the most part but I needed to do my homework before renting.
We liked the house but I thought we would be able to see the ocean from the house. My mom cannot walk without a walker so she could not get to the beach from the property she also could not get up the stairs to the bedrooms but we made it work. Next time I book need to make sure it’s handicap accessible. I do think the owner needs to update some pictures because we did not have any steps to use to get to the beach and it did show steps going down to the beach according to the pictures.

Needs maintenance and a good scrub
Great location, the house has a great set up. Lovely neighborhood. The property needs to be cleaned. I understand people don’t care for other people’s homes - renting out your property is stressful. We have rentals in Ohio, so we noticed things. I would change cleaning companies. The dust is thick all over headboards and trim. We picked up trash in the backyard - the backyard was covered in weeds. The dining room rug smelled to strongly of animal urine. (I know pets are allowed and that’s awesome and we appreciate it. I can’t imagine bringing an animal to someone’s property, knowing your pet isn’t trained. People who do this are obviously the problem. The pots and pans are beat. The refrigerator had food stuck to the front of it. The shower curtain upstairs is covered in mold at the bottom. This house just needs maintenance. I wanted to give it a giant hug.
We felt forced to travel during the covid-19 pandemic. The travel cancellation policy would not cover cancellation. Even though VRBO said the properties they represent were giving refunds or letting people reschedule, that wasn’t the case. That added a lot of stress to our trip. We had two kids with us and a 68 year old leukemia survivor. So, we were worried the whole time - then questioned the cleanliness of the property, it was very stressful.
Obviously no attractions were open. So, we sat in the house for 7 days.
Thank God for good weather. The pool was lovely. Cleaning it out everyday was fun. The trees above it were dropping seedlings nonstop, so we realized we never want to own a pool, lol. But it was nice. Thank you. Wish we could have rescheduled, but thanks. (If the maintenance company wants them, I have lots of pictures).

Lovely house for vacation.
A most convenient location, close to everything and a few miles from great restaurants. A clean, renovated house with a great backyard pool. Our family had a most enjoyable vacation here.

Vacation
This is great location to beach and historic St. Augustine and for dogs!
The house wasn’t ready at 3 when we got there. Cleaning ssid she had couple things more to do then one of our beds are sandy inside sheets and another bedroom had a sports bra left behind.
The outside pool is very small and patio area isn’t much to be desired. We’ve stayed in Florida every yr for the past 20 yrs and never had a patio that no one really wanted to hang at because there really isn’t much there. For the price I wouldn’t go back to this particular house.

Worked well for our needs. Pool area needs upgrading but house was pleasant and well equipped.
We had a delightful stay and have already booked this house for next year. The pool area needs some work but it was too cool to swim anyway so we were fine with it. The rental agent Marty was excellent. He dealt with the one or two small problems we had immediately. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were numerous....blender, several types of coffee makers, large and small toasters, mixers....didn’t feel we needed a thing. Shopping was six minutes away....in fact pretty much all services were between ten or twenty minutes away at the most. Lots of fun restaurants close by. We took our small dogs who were happy to walk the delightful neiborhood and visiting the nearby nature preserve. Wow, just thinking about this I want to go back today! See you all next year.

nice house
it was a lovely and very comfortable house. I was upset that we could not go in the pool it was dirty and cloudy, They say they clean it every Friday. We checked in on Sat and it was very dirty. We do pay more for a pool it should be able to be used .Maybe fire the pool guy. . But it was good other than the pool. Clean and nice beds. The master should be king though. But I would stay again if pool were fixed., a little pricey

Great place to stay
This was the perfect location to stay as we played golf and went to The Players tournament. Very clean, beautiful, great cul-de-sac neighborhood, steps to the beach and plenty of restaurants to choose nearby. We actually ate at Caps on the Water 3 nights in a row because it was THAT good and you could walk there in 20 minutes or take the 3 minute drive. Close to downtown St. Augustine and the TPC Sawgrass. The T.V. didn't work in the upstairs room that faced the cul-de-sac, but it didn't really matter. Could use red ant treatment around the property as there were areas you needed to watch out for. We loved it and would stay again. Keep in mind that all the bedrooms are upstairs. Oh... we thought the beds were super comfortable!! The couch downstairs is a hide-a-bed but if you can't do stairs, this might not be the place for you. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wish we were STILL at Coco's carefree, sunny beach
Very clean, well-maintained home nestled on a quiet street in a pleasant neighborhood where owners and renters regularly walked their well behaved pets. Great front porch, nice yard. Appreciated fast, courteous, helpful response to questions we had. Less than ten minute drive to historical St. Augustine. Six minutes to Publix and other small stores, including State Store. Close to excellent restaurants (3 in walking distance - Aunt Kate's, The Reef, and Cap's, all on the water)! First time snowbirds , we stayed January and February, leaving 80 degree temps and returning home to 33 degree temperature, gray skies, snow, and ice. Should have stayed another month!

Nice property- pool needed to be cleaned
First I'd like to thank the rental company and housekeeping for calling when the property was ready a bit earlier than the check in time. We had requested that as our flights arrived into Jacksonville early that morning and we didn't have a car so no place to store our luggage. Unfortunately since we had to stop at the rental office first, that added additional time to our commute and we weren't able to take advantage. I would reccommend leaving the code at the house to save this additional step and time. One other reccomendation would be to have pool cleaning tools. The pool was full of leaves and the filter was full as well, so we had to clean the filter and the pool by hand. A voicemail to the rental office on Sunday (they were closed) was not returned. They did however respond to a plumbing issue very quickly which did not impact anything on our stay. Clean property, but pool was essentially unusable.

Very clean, very nice, very private pool, great location!
We really enjoyed our stay. We came the week after Hurricane Irma, and weren't sure what to expect, but honestly had no problems. The management company did a great job - they were responsive to all inquiries and fast on providing services when needed.
The kitchen had great appliances- rare in a weekly rental. They had a couple of very comfortable beds, which is also rare.
The pool is fenced on all sides, and very private. The location is literally just 2 houses and a street-crossing away from the beach. There was no access without climbing a steep Sandy hill, because Irma blew away all the stairs, but we managed fine. With stairs there, it's honestly very beach convenient, but you don't have to pay the "on beach" price and you get a pool.
I feel like the owners did a good job of appointing the home for a comfortable stay, with TVs in every bedroom, a nice cable package (all the expanded basic, no premium channels). There is enough equipment in the kitchen to get by, although there are so many dining options, we didn't bother much.
The washer and dryer worked well. We honestly had no complaints. If I had to complain about something, I would say the couch was uncomfortable. It's a pull out, though, and leather is a good choice for a beach home because sand and wet clothes happen.
I would not hesitate to rent again. I wouldn't call our family high maintenance, but from an average person's standard, it was great. We have rented houses all over Georgia and Florida and this one was the best. Best location, best amenities, best little pool, best management.

You can't beat the location, the pool and the clean house.
You can't beat the location, the pool and the clean house. It would've been nice to have Beach towels and boogie boards at the house, so I didn't have to buy/pack them.

We truly felt at home
I, along with nine other university students, stayed in CoCo's during our spring break service trip to work with Anastasia State Park. At the end of each work day, we were so happy to be able to come back to a house that was clean, cozy, and relaxing. There was plenty of room for us all to sleep, eat, and hang out! Marty & First Choice FL Rentals were consistently pleasant to coordinate and work with - we couldn't have asked for a better rental!

Couldn't have been better!!!
Family came together to celebrate mom's 75th Birthday. Seven of us in all. House was just as pictured when we made the reservation six months ago. Even tho a little cool, we spent most of our evenings by the pool (didn't swim tho) and talked and talked. All the accommodations were good (some complaints that the mattresses were too hard - some thought the mattresses were great.) Due to the recent Hurricane we did not spend much time on the beach (but that wasn't our main objective); we just all wanted to be together in a nice house and enjoy. AND THAT WE DID!! We will be making a trip to Nashville in the spring for our granddaughter's high school graduation and will use VRBO again. Thanks for everything!!! a 9.5 out of a possible 10!!!!
