About this house rental
Sited on 2 private acres on a mesa overlooking the Sangre de Cristos mountains, this 5,400 sq ft home is filled with numerous New Mexican style touches. Intimate enough for a couple yet spacious and functionally designed for a group or family, highlights include an open kitchen/dining/television area, an elegant living room, a roomy master suite, two additional comfortable bedrooms with private baths, and a well equipped exercise room. Gas fireplaces in several rooms create additional warmth and festivity. All of this opens to lovely gardens in the front entrance courtyard and to a spacious east facing portal with dining and lounging areas, gas grill and a six person hot tub. Soothingly cool plaster walls, heated stone flooring, classic beam ceilings, and handsome finishes accentuate each room, creating a magical, relaxed, and unaffected ambiance. Plentiful windows and skylights create a gorgeous natural glow within and allow for appreciation of the marvelous surroundings and breathtaking views. The property is located behind a private security gate in a quiet area just outside the City of Santa Fe limits, very near the Santa Fe Opera house. The central plaza in Santa Fe is less than a ten minute drive from the house.

Our third visit was a delightful holiday, which included our goddaughters from London. We all enjoyed the stunning patio with spectacular views of the mountain range. Everyone was comfortable in their personal bedrooms, which included en suite bathrooms. The spacious kitchen was well supplied. Access to the city and other activities was easy and convenient from the hilltop location. Melissa, as always, was available, helpful, and gracious as our host. For a family or small group accommodation, this Santa Fe site is unbeatable!

Absolutely amazing home just outside Santa Fe town situated on rolling hills. Incredible views from the full length back porch. Top notch inside with fully stocked professional kitchen. Bedrooms all very comfortable. Common areas all nicely decorated, beautiful art on the walls. Highly recommend this home if you are visiting the area.

My family was in awe when we drove up to this beautiful property and home. They had no idea where we were staying until we arrived. Melissa greeted us and was so helpful, gracious and accommodating. She proactively communicated with us throughout our stay, in an efficient, pleasant manner. We loved so much about our stay at this property I don’t know where to begin. There were beautiful fresh flowers on the table. The gourmet kitchen was stocked with local snacks, coffee and all the cookware and utensils we could ever possibly want. The master bedroom and bath were luxurious and guest rooms with ensuite bathrooms were exceptional. We enjoyed the sound system so much my husband wants to put one in our home. The gas fireplaces were heavenly as was the hot tub on the spacious, extraordinary, east-facing outdoor living area. The views were breathtaking. And, it is conveniently located near Meow Wolf, the Plaza, Ski Santa Fe and much more. We cannot wait to come back.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It had everything we needed to make elaborate meals. The views from the home of the Mountains are absolutely breathtaking and the drive into Santa Fe and shopping is about 10 minutes. We enjoyed the sound system and hot tub as well. This property is amazing. Owner lives in it a large part of the time so it’s well cared for and stocked with everything you need for a full stay. Melissa, the property manager, is wonderful to work with and greeted me personally at my arrival to make sure I was settled properly. Definitely recommend!

This was our second visit to this property, and like the first we were not disappointed. Our property manager was gracious, supportive, and very efficient. The house has a fantastic layout for all our needs, including a panoramic view of the Sangre de Christo mountains to the east. Very comfortable master bedroom and guest rooms were exceptional. The large kitchen is well-supplied and a joy to use. Evenings were spent on the patio for wine and cheese and watching the changing colors of sundown. It's an easy and quick drive into the Plaza area to explore shops, galleries, museums, and restaurants. We did several day trips to surrounding areas, which was all the easier because of the great location of this property. All in all, for annual visitors to the Santa Fe area this property has become our "go to."

This is a beautiful property inside and out. Gorgeous landscaping including herbs for cooking. Great and convenient location. Spacious home and all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, spacious portale with hot tub, well stocked kitchen and amazing property manager, Melissa. Melissa provides so many small touches such as fresh flowers, local snacks and coffee and checks in periodically. Her attention to detail is much appreciated. I have stayed in several properties in Santa Fe and this is by far my favorite.

Wonderful views from the expansive patio. Really enjoyed meals outside - the 6 of us were very comfortable around the outdoor dining table. Just a short drive into town. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. Melissa was very helpful and easy to contact. We all enjoyed our stay immensely.

My family and I stayed here for 10 wonderful days. The house itself is fantastic - spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The back deck is expansive and provides wonderful views - it was a great place to start the day, listening to the birds and feeling the breeze. It was even great for watching the skies during rainstorms. The location feels distant and remote, but it takes just a few minutes to get to the Plaza and other popular areas of Santa Fe. The kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed. Melissa was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall a 5-star experience!!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Tesuque Hills House! The location was perfect -close to the city (just a few minutes drive to the hustle and bustle of Santa Fe) but far enough away to give us space to breathe (the unobstructed views of the mountains and the quiet, peaceful surrounding were incredible). The house was lovely -open and spacious while still being warm, inviting and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and more. Melissa was available for questions whenever we needed her. We highly recommend this property -you won't be disappointed.

This gorgeous home and spectacular setting absolutely exceeded every one of our hopes. Every aspect of the home is lovely and luxurious, from the gorgeous furnishings to the huge (beautifully accoutered) kitchen to the phenomenal artwork. The vast veranda and its mountain views, the ensuite bathrooms, the home's lovely architecture... I just can't say enough about how sincerely thrilled we were with our stay. Melissa was the epitome of welcoming and helpful, and made sure we wanted for nothing. We would be thrilled to return again!
