While the property itself was very nice the property management company, Taylor Made Vacations does a terrible job at cleaning. The place was very dirty/dusty. Also the pool was not available which was one of the primary reasons we picked this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a beautiful home with a beautiful view. The family was excited to go. I spent the money expecting not to have to worry about anything. Overall the agent was responsive, but they should've done a walk through before check in. TVs didn't work, DVD players didn't work, The water dispenser didn't work, the hot tub didnt work. The pool table cues were worn and warped. We couldnt even use the phone to check out, it was broken. And by the way, a sleeper sofa should not be advertised as a queen. I'll look for another agency and place next time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My girlfriend and I took my two kids to Deep Creek for a birthday/ Memorial Day weekend celebration. It was exactly what we where looking for. The property was better than the pictures. Everything was clean and well stocked upon our arrival. The kids loved the pool table and hot tub while my girl and I enjoyed the views from the back deck. Sitting on the mountain we had scenic views of the lake and the surrounding area. Between the activities at Wisp and across the lake at the family fun centers, there was definitely enough to keep my 12 and 9 year olds preoccupied. My only criticism would be the outside furniture. It could use a good cleaning prior to being rented. And the cushions on the downstairs patio need to be replaced. They are pretty dingy(wouldn't even consider sitting on them). And maybe replace the missing blind slats downstairs. But that means I can only say this place was 99.999% perfect. Still a great score!! Props to Taylor-Made as well. Emailed them a few questions and they called me promptly with answers. Nice personal touch. They also keep you informed with regular emails about your future rental and their phone app comes in very handy. I will definitely be using T-M in the future for more vacations rentals.

The pots could afford to be upgraded for those renters who enjoy cooking. The WIFI was very iffy, and signal would come and go. Streaming a Netflix movie would be buffering on occasion. The property managers were very responsive for our request for a functional blender. The view was breathtaking. Unbelievable sunrises.

The hot tub was very nice, great to sit in and look out at the snow and lights at night. We enjoyed playing games on the pool table and watching movies. Very close to Wisp and all the fun things to do in Deep Creek. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The only thing I would recommend is to put in at least two speakers for the tv's. There are none, and those tv's cannot project sound very well across those big rooms.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House layout was nice but it would have been awkward to have a couple use either of the sofa bed/futon. Ok for families with kids though. Lots of personal knick knacks and stuff made the house feel cluttered. Things like Christmas decorations and even a tree were stored everywhere. Beds were very nice (firm). We left two days early because of the rain.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is listed as capable of sleeping 10 people; that is quite a stretch. A futon is not an acceptable vacation bed for 2 people. Also the house has an inadequate amount of plates, bowls and silverware for 10 people unless you want to wash dishes after every meal. There is a ton of the owner's personal items all over, to the point where I'm sure every guest moves it out of the way so they can eat at the table, have space on the bedside table, and use the kitchen bar top. The hot tub could use a major overhaul; several jet caps were floating in the water after the jets turned off. The wifi connection was also not great. Other than that the house is great - nice mountain location, gorgeous view of the lake, maintained well and comfortable.
