About this house rental

This charming, semi-detached villa with features from the 1920s is located 200 m above sea level and therefore offers a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea. In clear weather you can see Corsica! The house with roof terrace and heated pool has a great location and is ideal for holidays with family and friends.
The residence on the French Riviera - Côte d'Azur is close to the Nietzsche trail where you can take lovely walks. The medieval town of Èze-sur-Mer, with its picturesque narrow alleys and special location on top of the mountain, is about 250 m away. From the house you walk directly, via the Chemin de Michel path, to the Plateau de la Justice with spectacular views of St. Jean Cap Ferrat, Nice, Antibes and Saint Tropez.
The pool is adjustable and therefore ideal for families with children. Enjoy the Mediterranean climate on the sunbeds around it or have a cosy barbecue on the spacious roof terrace with dining table and sea view.
The pool heats up to about 4 degrees, so the water temperature can still be chilly on cold days.

The property was spacious and the views were spectacular. We would stay there again. Unfortunately, the box with the key combination did not work. We had to call the property manager who didn't speak English. Then we called Belvilla and spoke with a helpful woman who spoke French to the property manager with two cell phone facing each other and speakers turned on. Finally got in with a key from a other box that wasn't mentioned in our instructions. I am sure that this wasn't known, but the house smelled like an animal had died inside the wall. All this being said, we would stay there again.

Die „moderne“ Villa war ein altes Haus. Der Blick aufs Meer ist phantastisch, das Haus insgesamt groß, mit sauberem Pool, Klimanalage in allen Zimmern und in Eze nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Meer. Leider hat es sonst überhaupt nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Aufgequollene Arbeitspaltten in Bad und Küche, verdreckt-verstopfte Dusche, ein EG-Zimmer, das eigentlich ein dunkles Kellerloch ist. Leider überhaupt nicht das, was in der Beschreibung stand. Beschwerden haben gar nichts gebracht. Belvila stellt sich tot. Eine Anfrage beim Amwalt hat ergeben, dass häufiger gegen Belvilla geklagt wird. Jetzt verstehe ich warum. Für mich definitiv die letzte Buchung bei diesem Portal.

Bonne location mais piscine non chauffée
Le séjour s'est relativement bien passé. Le propriétaire est disponible et répond assez vite aux demandes. Par contre petit soucis avec le site de location (abritel/belvilla) qui malgré plusieurs demandes du propriétaire ne retire toujours pas dans l'annonce le fait que la piscine n'est pas chauffée. Ce qui créé une déception à l'arrivée car l'on s'attend à une piscine chauffée.

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The location and proximity to not only the beach, but also to places such as Nice is excellent. The property has character but modern furnishings and is very well equipped for your stay. The pool and private garden makes for an ideal holiday location. The views from the many terraces are simply stunning.
The communication from the host/delegates was excellent. They provided useful information for the area and the check in process was very easy.
We would definitely stay at the property again!

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The location and proximity to not only the beach, but also to places such as Nice is excellent. The property has character but modern furnishings and is very well equipped for your stay. The pool and private garden makes for an ideal holiday location. The views from the many terraces are simply stunning.
The communication from the host/delegates was excellent. They provided useful information for the area and the check in process was very easy.

The house and the small garden could have been better maintained. At our arrival there was no one to meet us. We were informed of this by Belvilla, but we got the information after that we already had booked the house. The main problem was how the heating fans in the house and the heating of the pool ("house with heated pool") should be operated. The presence of the care taker of the house would have solved those problems.
We were a bit surprised to notice, that the care taker had left laundry for drying in the fairly small entrance hall. The dryer machine was also full of laundry. The small garden had not been raked lately.
But, from our second day on at the house we found it to be very practical and nice for our big family. We sorted the laundry that had been left, found old time heaters in the cabinets and raked the garden. The pool was very good with its adjustable water depth and the boys enjoyed it every day. Our favorite place in the house was the combined spacious living room/kitchen with the breath taking view.
The location of the house is ideal, 15 min. on the train to Nice, Monaco etc. Nice and challenging hiking paths start from the door steps of the house. We are very satisfied with our stay in the house.
