Welcome to "Best Life". See our 100+ five star reviews on VRBO over 10 years. Most of our bookings are return guests - that tells you everything you need to know. This is a very clean, well maintained and fully furnished OCEAN FRONT home - not a condo - in beautiful Emerald Isle, NC. It has a full-on ocean view from the deck, bedrooms and the living room, not partial views and not over the street or rooftops. It is half of a duplex. The other side of the duplex is not a rental; it is someone's rarely used second home, so you will not have any crazy or noisy neighbors, parties or big groups next door. The kitchen and baths were completely renovated in 2023; see photos! You''re likely to see dolphins frolicking in the ocean. Unlike staying in a condo complex, you'll have privacy and no worries about noise, sharing the deck or annoying neighbors. No dogs. Perfect for families with children. The house is close to a lifeguard station on the beach.
There is a gentle set of stairs from deck to beach, not the 50 or 60 steps to get to the houses that sit high up on the dunes. The house has everything you'll need and the kitchen is fully equipped (even a spare blender, coffee maker & toaster). There is a Kuerig coffee machine with pot and pod capability. We provide starter supplies upon your arrival (soap, paper towels, t.p.). ALL of the bedding in the house is newer premium gel memory foam 12" mattresses with thick zippered bed-sacks.
This house is an excellent value and has everything you'll need for a restful stress-free vacation at the beach. The manager is local and the owner is always available. Note the built-in benches on the deck near the ocean. The bathrooms have gorgeous tile - not cheap fibreglass! The sliding doors are new (2024) quiet easy to use and lock Pella units. As you can see from all of our photos, we strive to make this a comfortable and tastefully 'beachy' home. Among the features of this property are Spectrum cable, STRONG wireless internet (to the deck +), newer central air unit, ceiling fans in every room, 4 flat-screen HD-TV's (55" in living room and 40" in 3 bedrooms with Roku access to premium channels), and custom hand-painted tropical murals in each bedroom. It's NOT cheap thin, uncomfortable rattan / boxy / IKEA furniture, nor is it used furniture from Grandma's house. We want you to relax and be comfortable! There are 2 ocean-front master bedrooms (1 K & 1 Q) and 2 bedrooms street side (partial Sound view) with doubles and singles. There are 2 full tiled baths and a wonderful outdoor enclosed over-sized locking private shower that was renovated in 2024 with hot and cold water and a dressing area. (Great for children or a quick refreshing rinse after coming off the beach.) The deck has a convenient hose for sandy feet.
There are lifeguards on the beach within sight just a short stroll away (April - Sept.). This house is ON THE BEACH with the same ocean, views, and ease of access as the mansions that cost 3 or 4 times as much. We provide beach chairs, beach umbrella, toys, as well as beach games. This was our first vacation to Emerald Isle and we loved it! Alan’s home is close enough to restaurants and shops, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and tranquility. The house is steps away from the beach and has everything you could need. Alan is also an amazing owner who responded so quickly to any questions I had. Our family would highly recommend!

Convenient to everything you need without the traffic. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Outside shower was spot on! Comfortable furniture for a family to kick back with a good movie after a long day at the beach. Our family had a wonderful time in this home.

What a great place to stay! An easy trip from deck to beach, good room sizes, nice layout, and one of the best beach spots on the Island. Alan was a wonderful host and made the whole process from booking to check-out very easy. We could see fireworks to the east and west! Sitting on the walkway benches with a cold glass of wine watching the sunset and the moon rise was a great way to end the day. Not sure how he arranged for the best weather too! It only really rained in the evening. Thanks for the hospitality!

First the view is amazing! Great little house for our family we felt very at home there it was clean and kitchen was well equipped and upgraded with top notch appliances. Close to restaurants and attractions. Nice quite neighborhood. Beach access was the main reason we chose this house with children 1-6 makes things so much easier for a quick easy trip back and forth. The owner Alan was very nice quick to respond to a phone call or text to answer any questions you may have and to reach out during ur stay to see if everything was ok. If you are looking for a quite little house on a beautiful beach this would be the house!

The rental was just as described. The owner was very responsive and wonderful to deal with. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were of a high quality which was great since my husband and I both have back and leg issues. Our granddaughter and son had to fly in on Saturday. There was a very nice airport an hour away, Albert Ellis. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation spot.

This half-house was very comfortable, within steps from the beach. It was a quiet spot with a beautiful view of the ocean. My family of 7 visited the aquarium nearby, spent one day at the waterpark, and also visited Fort Macon State Park while enjoying our week in Emerald Isle, NC. It is a perfect spot if you are planning on enjoying the ocean view and not venturing out or if you want to do both by visiting the sites close by.

My family of 3 stayed here for over a week and we loved it! The location is absolutely amazing and the house was the perfect size for myself, my husband and our 2.5 year-old son. We enjoyed hanging out inside the house as well as sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful views. We had an amazing trip and Alan was a wonderful host- went above and beyond to communicate and so friendly. Thank you for such an amazing stay at your beautiful home!

Such a beautiful location on the beach! House was generally small, each room was tight. I wouldn't recommend more than 4 adults and one or two children here. All of the kitchen cabinets were filled so there was no place to put our food and groceries. Which made it seem even smaller. The house was very clean, however the bathtub scratches made it seem a little dirty. Overall I really shouldn't say anything negative because the location was so perfect.

The location was excellent. The furniture was very good. There were a lot of chairs, umbrellas, and toys for the kids. The kitchen was well equipped. The deck was excellent, and it was a short distance right to the beach. The beach at this location is very wide, and has lots of shells for picking. Negative issues: The living room sliding door leaks and we often had a wet floor. The locks on the sliding glass doors were rusted away. The cabinets were old and poor, an there was no storage space for groceries. The counter-top was terrible, with a split at the L turn and bad repairs on the front face. I felt I paid more than the overall quality of the unit warranted.

I had a wonderful 2-week stay with my husband and my 3 year old. My in-laws came to stay for a few nights and there was plenty of room for all of us. They slept upstairs and it was great that they had their own private bathroom. The home was clean, clutter free, and had everything we needed. There were plenty of beach chairs to use and we loved walking down the deck to the beautiful beach multiple times a day. The town is very nice and there are many restaurants/ice cream within a short drive. The highlights of our trip were the pine knolls aquarium and taking the ferry from Beaufort to Shackleford island. Giving an overall five stars for the wonderful week we enjoyed at Beach House East! Property manager Jerry and homeowner Allen went above and beyond before and during our stay. We have rented up and down the NC coast for several summers and have never had such attentive customer service! The location is awesome. Right on the beach with privacy beach access in an uncrowded area of EI even during a holiday weekend / week. The outside of the property is very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The outdoor shower and fully stocked closet with beach gear were a great bonus! We also enjoyed the large back deck for morning coffee, lunches, and dinners with a gorgeous and private ocean view! Inside, the rooms are a little small, but not cramped. It is decorated nicely with some upgrades / renovations in the bathrooms and flooring. The new mattresses are wonderfully comfortable. The kitchen is a bit dated but is a good size and well stocked. There is some wear and tear throughout but overall, we were pleased. The housekeeping was adequate. It was relatively clean when we arrived and by no means horribly dirty, but we would not give it five stars. It being a holiday weekend perhaps the cleaners were just terribly busy period it would not deter us from staying there again at all. We were overall incredibly pleased with our time in this rental and would definitely recommend it as well as Emerald Isle! Thank you Alan & Jerry - your care for your guests really shows!

So much to do and see. One week stay was so comfortable, we could of stayed for another week. Alan is very attentive to our needs. He assured that everything met our expectations upon our arrival. We just returned from spending a wonderful week at this very comfortable and clean beachfront property. Loved that we could just walk right out the slider and enjoy the spacious deck and just another few steps to the beach. Beach has just been replenished and is wide and beautiful. This property is very well maintained. We had the privilege of meeting the owners who were friendly and kind and went out of their way to be sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We’ve already booked again for next year! You should, too-you won’t be disappointed!

This is a great place. The owner and manager did a great job communicating and making sure that we had everything we needed. The place itself is clean and well-maintained. The living area is small, but worked fine for our family of 6 that was there. The best part is the location—it is right on the beach with walkout access and views from two bedrooms and the main living area. We saw dolphins at play several times. Kids could run to and from the house easily when they played. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This has to be one of our best experiences renting a beach house. The owner and manager have thought of everything! Beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys for kids, a grill, and the kitchen has all the cookware you could need. Blender for margaritas? It's here. Jerry the property manager is so friendly and a great resource. The mattresses are new and quite comfortable. There is a lovely deck and outdoor shower that is so crucial for washing off sandy kids.The area is safe and quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves for several hours daily. I strongly recommend this vacation rental!
