Though there was no snow during the holiday, the cottage/chat was the perfect place to house 3 families to enjoy the break. All appliances worked great, place was clean. It was warm and toasty with a beautiful view of the ski area.
Our hosts were responsive and prompt. Would definitely stay again.

Our group had a great time over our weekend stay. Backyard was a huge amount of space for throwing the football around. The chalet was more than large enough for our group of eleven guys. Thanks to Dan for getting all the information we needed well ahead of time. Would definitely come back.

The host was very nice and tended to our needs/questions quickly. The place was clean and tidy and everything went smoothly

We were a bit concerned when we first arrived because the exterior of the house and the porch were in disrepair (wood damage, flaking paint) which made a poor first impression. The entrance foyer and corridor on the main floor has dated ceramic tile and a woven rug that were not clean looking (older ceramic tile never looks clean), which also made us uneasy about the cleanliness of the unit.
Upstairs, the main living area was reassuring - it's more updated with decent furniture and is bright and sunny. But the kitchen is dated and felt less clean. There were cracked floor tiles, floor vents duct taped down, countertop needs replacement, cabinets are worn. It's a fully functioning kitchen, but felt a bit run down.
Main bedrooms and one of the bathrooms were updated and reasonable clean, but we did notice dust and other people's socks under 2 of the beds. In the age of COVID, we expect to see much more careful cleaning. This is an easy fix, so recommend asking questions about the cleaning protocol if you are concerned about this.
The living room is spacious and comfortable. A dedicated air conditioning unit for the top floor keeps the place comfortable. The beds on the main floor are very comfortable and the rooms are cozy. There's a back deck on one room that's perfect for a quiet morning coffee. The main deck gets lots of sun and is a great place to sit, with lots of chairs and room to spread out and barbecue.
The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes and pots and pans. There is an extra fridge, which is helpful for large parties.
The location is decent. It's a nice 15-20 min walk to the Blue Mountain village. Might be a tough walk for small kids, but it got our teenagers moving.
The property manager was very quick to respond to queries.
Note that there is no washer or dryer. With a party of 10, we have always had to do some laundry on vacation. This time we had to plan around it and do some hand washing in the tub.
Overall, our stay was positive because we had great weather and were outside most of the week. This place provided what we needed, but updates to the property would definitely make it a better value.

The house was as pictured and very clean. Lots of rooms and beds to accommodate our large family. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, cutlery, appliances, etc. I really appreciated the two refrigerators. Dan was very responsive and helpful during our visit. The check-in/check-out and house instructions were clear and helpful. Wifi was excellent. Overall, we had a great stay.

Perfect spot for us to have a lovely Christmas ski vacation. Everything was just as advertised. Always prompt response from Host when I had questions.

A good place to stay with a group of friends. Everyone had fun and it was an easy walk to the Village. Do make sure to bring all towels necessary, including dish cloth and tea towel. Supplies are quite bare bones. Thank you for the nice weekend.

The chalet was very cute and cozy and clean. It is close to the village, but not so conveniently close that you can easily walk. It's a good 20 min walk or so (at least). You can see the slopes from the family room though which is a nice view! Overall good value. They were very strict on check in and check out times, which is too bad because we had to wait around a while to check in (even though we knew the place was ready to go). I think it's an extra way they try to make money. So don't expect a check-in before 4pm without a fee. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Loved everything. Favourite part of the house was the living room and kitchen. The only thing we did not like was that the driveway did not fit 6-8 cars like advertised.

Booking the cottage was such an easy process. The cottage itself was just like the pictures and it was clean and well laid out for large groups. Great view of the hills and such a short distance to the village!
Great place to enjoy a getaway!

Very easy check in process. House had plenty of room for 10 people. As described. Big tv with cable was nice also and good entertaining room. Bbq worked great. House had all the essentials. Walking distance to the village. Would use this place again

The property was according to the posted pictures, large enough for our group (6 adults and 5 Kids), lots of space for kids to play and many bunk beds, nice parking, great location within 4-5 mins drive to the Hills. The only issue we had was the overall cleanliness: lots of dust On the baseboards and ceiling fans, someone’s dirty underwear was left under the bed, some lights didn’t work, the cooking pans in very old scratched condition. Overall, we would recommend it to a large group of people but it’s not “The Hilton”.

This cottage is perfectly situated within walking distance to the town. My friends and family rarely used vehicles and we were entertained the whole time. The cottages were in great shape for rentals, obviously cleaned regularily and maintenance kept up. The one small problem we did have was rectified in a timely manner. I would recommend large groups renting this cottage in a heart beat.

Walking distance to the village which was perfect for entertainment and keeping the kids occupied.
I will definitely be back

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. Ive stayed at a few cottages and I would say this was the best one so far. Didn't have an issue with anything. Really liked how it was hardwood/laminate all around... Easier to clean.

We had 9 adults in the cottage and we stayed for 2 nights. This is what I found.
Pro:
Long dining table so we could all sit together during meal times
The cottage was nice and cozy
The cottage was relatively clean. (After reading the last 2 reviews, I was concerned and I did address the issue to Dan (The cottage representative) and he made sure that the cottage was clean, within reason, prior to our arrival.)
It was very spacious for 9 people
There were enough couches/seats for 9 adults to sit together in the living room (Wouldn’t be enough for 18)
Dan Simpson, the cottage representative was very helpful and responsive to emails/questions.
There were 2 balconies on the first floor and 1 on the main floor
Con:
I wouldn’t recommend this cottage during summer because there is no AC or centralized fan in the house so it can be very stuffy in the house. (There were a few small fans around the living and dining room area but it wasn’t enough)
The BBQ was too dirty to use.
We were told that there is WIFI in the house but none of us were able to connect to it until the last day
There was supposed to be cable/satellite in the house but it didn’t work at all
There were 2 patio doors but only 1 of them comes with a screen door, so we couldn’t open the other one for some fresh air without being afraid that flies/bees would come in
Conclusion: This house is alright for a 2 night stay. I did have a lot of fun with my friends. The house, furniture and the kitchenware are in general a bit worn down. The kitchenware weren’t dirty as Laila mentioned in the previous review, but we still washed them anyway before using them just to be safe. It’s an average cottage, just don’t have high expectation.

The house in general wasn't properly cleaned. We had to wash all the dishes, cups and utensils before using them because they were so dirty. The floors were not washed. The table was sticky. The 2 patio doors had no mosquito screens. Even after requesting them we didn't get any. Spider webs all over the place. Some windows are in such poor condition you can't see through them. The table on the porch was disgusting. The wifi signal was very poor, when it worked that is.

Disappointed in the rental property and would have expected a nicer facility considering the cost and the pictures. Carpet is worn out and poor quality. Bunk beds don't have railings. Rooms did not heat evenly, leaving some people sweating and others cold. Rooms don't have proper closets (2 x 4s with a rod running across and no hangers) or dressers. Pool table was again poor quality and warped so you couldn't shoot straight. Caulking wasn't even finished in the shower. Living room furniture is not what you see in the pictures - not nearly as comfortable and homemade.
Overall not very impressed. It does sleep 18ppl. Wouldn't recommend this place if you were planning on spending a lot of time in the cabin relaxing. Would be fine for maybe a group of teenagers; however cost doesn't reflect this.
