good house, excellent place to spend a good rest

Nice house, just needs some updates..mostly with the backyard.... other than that it was good

Did not stay/ could not stay! Gross. Dirty! Cleaning ladies were finishing upon arrival- check in was delayed due to that. Cleaning was not properly done-or they only wiped down table, counter tops, and cleaned floors and toilets. The house is a mess. Both closets had linens, sheets and pillows SHOVED in there! Not neatly folded ready for use, extra pillows thrown ON THE FLOOR of closets. Looked like kids had a slumber party, used the sheets and then tumbled them to put away in closets. Imagine a 5 year old folding the sheets- yes that’s what they looked like! Not one sheet was folded properly. Were they used prior and not washed? Disgusting! Sheets on beds were STAINED, so gross. The dryer/washer- broken. Couldn’t even wash those nasty sheets. The ceiling fan had a broken blade (really?!) The bathroom was rusted in bathtub, and all the tiles were chipping. The vanity’s white finish was all chipping and lifting off the drawers as well as the small tiles around the sink area. Bath mat had hair balls! The furniture looked like they were used and abused full of stains and so worn out we didn’t even want to sit on the couches. I even used some sheets to cover the couches. Thats when I attempted to wash them and learned the washer/ dryer don’t work. The house is like a storage of old worn out pieces of furniture no one wanted. I can’t believe someone would rent this place out like that. The 2 beds were stained/ dirty. Why would anyone want to stay at a home disorganized, broken and dirty when the home they live in isn’t under those conditions? Host stopped responding to my concerns immediately, which were address within an hour of arrival. Wouldn’t refund me, VRBO wouldn’t either. It’s ok I called my bank and they are taking care of it- So I got my money back. Host offered to send cleaning ladies again, yeah that would not address the problems! This place is not a vacation rental- this is a place that looks like a dirty, single person lives in there (because no way 2 people would be okay with the conditions of that house) and then he wants to make a profit renting it out!?? The pictures were not even accurate. Different furniture were used in pictures and none of bathroom had towel holders- just HOLES and PATCHES of where they WERE. Absolutely no effort, not a way to run a business. The host needs to go online and see how REAL vacation rentals should look like. Or get a clue! Must be a rookie or he absolutely does not care and scams ppl. BEWARE!

Nice place but needs some minor repairs. Ceiling fan in bedroom is missing a blade so it doesn’t work, toilet in master bedroom takes over an hour to refill. Dryer didn’t work properly and the coffee maker didn’t work at all.

With proper management, this would be a wonderful place to vacation. During our visit the toilet in the master did not work, the tub in that bathroom had much rust around the faucets making it unhealthy to use, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the coffee maker had dead bugs in the basket housing, the pool needed attention upon arrival, and the television xfinity service did not work until the end of our 2nd day's stay. Pictures presented on the site did not represent what is actually there; very used and tired furniture in the living room. In its current state, I would suggest it be removed from your rental site.

Really enjoyed my experience at this property.

We had a good time at this property - the main thing for us was to have a fenced yard for our dogs and that, we had. Very quiet location too. The AC broke however the property manager took care of it immediately. Not a luxury stay at all but for the price we paid we think we had everything we needed. The location is GREAT, close to everything.

Nice pool clean house

The house is in a good neighbor and has a great backyard. The inside is not at all like what is pictured. The pool never heated enough to be able to use it. Overall, the stay was good, but the communication with property manager was not the greatest. We left our Chromecast behind, which was our mistake. We tried to get in contact with the property manager to send him a pre-paid label for him to ship it back to us. He said it wasn’t at the property and he’d check with the cleaning team. We tried several times after to get in contact with him and did not receive a reply.

The house was nice. Not what was shown in the pictures but fine. There was a lot of wear an tear but it was functional. We were willing to over look all the issues because the pool was amazing. The location was great, so close to everything. Overall we had a great vacation.

We loved our stay and enjoyed the backyard so much! The privacy was great! The pool heater was great and everyone enjoyed the pool all day and even night time! It was a great experience and we loved everything! The beds super comfortable too!

We COULD NOT stay here; it was dirty and not set up for travelers. It is a residential home where the host lives and occasionally moves out to use it as a Vrbo. There were opened bottles of shampoo and Listerine in the bathroom. Opened boxes of cereal and chips in the kitchen. The advertised Keurig coffee maker had two pods tucked away in the corner of the kitchen. Again, WE DID NOT STAY in the unit, and so far, the host has refused to refund our payment.

We had a fabulous time. It was an established, family neighborhood And we felt completely safe. Pool was perfect! I think it could be tight for 6 adults and 2 kids plus a pet, but would be comfortable for 4 adults, 2 kids and a pet to my way of thinking. Has everything you need. Great location - less than 10 minutes from airport. Less than 5 min from Publix grocery and just around the corner from a cool new warehouse district restaurant/shop complex. Also less than a 5 min drive to Palm Beach island. If driving, you could bring bikes and ride to the island to save $$. meter parkIng on the island is $5/hr. Municipal beach there is guarded and beautiful. If driving or renting a car we felt perfectly safe leaving our car in the house driveway. The house is adequately equipped but some of the details need just a little work. It looked to us like they were still in the process of some renovations like painting and putting up some new blinds. Great screened front porch but wasn’t as comfortable as it could be- I was a bit leary of sitting on the chairs on the front porch. Overall we loved it. It is a perfect place to have a comfortably priced family vacation in a pricey area with a relaxed, carefree environment.

We stayed in town with some friends. It was a perfect set-up. We will be back.

Me and my Great Dane had a mini vacation and enjoyed the house and how close it was to all that West Palm has. Really cool neighborhood to walk. Thanks Kurt.

We spent a weekend at Casa De Leon, and the tropical setting could not have been more perfect! The 1920's home has all of the modern conveniences, in a beautiful residential area, but close to all of the culture of downtown West Palm Beach. What can I say about the backyard? It's pure tropical serenity...a climate controlled swimming pool with tropical plants and lighting, surrounding a lovely deck area, tastefully manicured and super-private. There was a nice outdoor table and lounge chairs, as well as foam floats for luxuriating in the pool. The kitchen was very well equipped, the dining room was beautiful, the living room was very conversational (2 couches and a loveseat), the front porch was so cute (and so early 1900's), the bedrooms were comfortable and well equipped, and both bathrooms were modern, functional, and well-stocked with papergoods. Although we had little time for electronics, it seems that the wifi, internet, tv, and streaming services were. all available to use. Please note that it has two queen bedrooms and two bathrooms...the extra beds are actually sofa beds in the living room. We would DEFINITELY book this lovely home again! Thanks again for the lovely weekend!

Was a really nice experience

This is a beautiful home with an incredible backyard. The location was perfect for access to area stores and attractions. There were a few details that can be attended to, but overall, a great place to stay. Renting homes such as this is such a wonderful alternative to a hotel--we were "at home" during our stay in West Palm Beach! Highly recommended.

Uno de los lavamanos estaba tupido y el aspirador de la piscina estaba sucio y no funcionaba por lo que esta no se encontraba del todo limpia.

This is a beautiful 2 bedroom house in a nice neighborhood, near a park, a publix. It has an amazing backyard garden and pool. We loved staying there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is technically a 2 bedroom with a pull out couch in the living room. Cleaning people were running a bit behind so we went to go see a movie which only took 5 minutes to get to. Upon arriving back the house was absolutely spotless. The pool was so perfect and the kids swam well into the night each night we stayed.

This house is perfect for two families and includes a gorgeous pool in the backyard. We spent about half of our time just enjoying the beautiful landscaping, patio, and pool. There is ample room in each bedroom to store luggage and misc items from kids. We had 4 adults and 3 kids in our party. Two kids slept on the couches in the living room. There is a dining room table as well as a patio table/chairs outside for meals. It is a very quiet neighborhood close to some good restaurants, downtown, and Publix. The kitchen is stocked and it has a Keurig and a blender! Parking was enough for 2 mini-vans plus street parking. Thanks for a wonderful spring break rental!

Location is perfect. House is nice, pool also very good. Would be 5 stars with some new linens and a couple of more pot and pans. Overall great place,loved it!

We enjoyed our stay. A few small changes would improve the rental experience. For example, the shower curtains were quite grimy and it looked like the house could use more attention to the cosmetics. Overall, it as a nice stay, but we may look for other options when we return to the area.

It was perfect for us. Two couples with three children. The kids slept on a cot and couches in the living room. Small, charming, and very well equipped, including a gas barbecue, washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. Pool toys for the kids, floats, etc. Enough plates and silverware for eight--if you're having friends for dinner, you might want to get some paper plates to make up the difference. The back yard is terraced in old brick with a wonderful heated pool and is very private, surrounded by old growth tropical vegetation. The best part is the eclectic old-style neighborhood. Very central with an eclectic mix of houses in various sizes and styles. It's the old Florida before the tacky-tack. The owner very nice and accommodating. We would certainly go back.

Just spent 4 days at this wonderful home in a WPB historic neighborhood. Highlights for us were the front screen porch for sitting and looking out at the beautiful historic streetscape and the amazing back yard. Large heated pool, lush landscaping making the backyard totally private, with loungers and dining table overlooking the pool. We spent all our time in the home out here. Comfortable bedrooms and small functional baths (as one would expect in a historic home form the 1920's) were clean and well maintained. Very functional kitchen, laundry, and plenty of towels made the stay easy. We look forward to returning.

Loved how easily accessible everything was from this home. Ten minutes from everything. Beautiful neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. Gorgeous secluded yard. Owner was very responsive. We had a wonderful stay!

My husband and son stayed here during a baseball tournament at the nearby Spring Training fields. The house, yard and location were perfect for their needs. They used the kitchen quite bit due to special dietary needs. A couple minor housekeeping issues came up during their stay, and Kurt was quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to others!

There was a misprint with VRBO but the management company worked with us to fix the situation promptly which was most appreciated. A cozy home with the pool and close to all of the important spots at a very reasonable price and very flexible with us. We will stay here again when staying in WPB. Thank you

Set back in a nice little neighborhood. Latino bakery nearby has awesome cafe colada and pastries. Place was well stocked with all the 6 of us needed for a very comfortable stay. Kurt was communicative but not intrusive. Will recommend and would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay, the pool was perfect and the setting a delight!! I Highly recommend ☀️
