We loved the property only downside was the 3 girls missed a dressing table but the property has so many plusses, this was completely insignificant.

This was a week that had been postponed from April. Our original plan was to have a full house of friends family for the whole week to celebrate an 80th birthday. However, COVID then limited this to only a max of 6 people on any night.
The Cow shed was warm, comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and ideal for a large group.
The owners were very helpful in the difficult circumstances of changing COVID rules.
We so enjoyed exploring the local area and would willingly return if we were organising a similar gathering for a large number.

Beautiful property for all the family to celebrate a special birthday
Spacious, clean, safe. A lovely home with plenty of space for a large family. Just spent a week here as a family of 10. The owner, Gary is most helpful, and kept us fully informed of the new arrival procedure.
For a Chinese meal, highly recommend the Pearl Dragon Cheadle. They also deliver.
Cannot fault this property and would definately return.. 🙂

We had a great time at the cowshed and cannot recommend it enough.
We had a part of 8 people and at no time did we feel that we were cramped, uncomfortable or stressed... the property is great.
Gary and the team of people who look after this property were first class, the communication throughout was exemplary and we were left feeling that this property provided above and beyond any pre-conceptions we had.
A trip to the railway and Hettie's Tea room's is a must and Gary's local knowledge of places to visit and eat etc.. were spot on.
Thank you for sharing this property !

Superb Unique Holiday Home
The Cowshed is a great property for holiday. My extended family of 6 stayed here for 7 nights in August 2019.
There is a wonderful lounge where all of us and more could relax in and watch TV or Netflix on the large TV with excellent sound system. The lounge is as the pictures show overlooked by a gallery from the first floor which gives it the wow factor!
The dining table comfortably seats 10 and invited us to have our dinner together each night.
Each bedroom is well equipped with everything you need and clean as you would expect. Bathrooms are nicely fitted with showers that actually have pressure!
Kitchen lacks nothing. Everything we needed was here.
The owner Gary was excellent in communicating and giving local advice and promptly tentative.
We have stayed in many holiday homes over the years across England and Wales and this will remain A truly unique property that we will remember and recommend to everyone!

The Cowshed was fabulous! We went as a party of 10 adults for a birthday celebration, a great place to stay, a beautiful and modern conversion with everything you could need or want for your stay. A stunning property with plenty of space for 10 people. The owner was extremely helpful with lots of recommendations for places to go and places to eat. The Indian in the village was lovely, as was the Duncombe Arms a short drive away. We would definitely go back!!

Great location for Alton Towers, about 10 minutes drive away.
Great location for Alton Towers, about 10 minutes drive away. Very spacious even with 10 of us. Very clean. Comfy beds and high quality linen. Would have preferred bath sheets rather than the bath towels, but that is just a personal preference. Will definitely be back.
