A clean cosy place in a lovely area.
A clean cosy place in a lovely area. The garden is secure for the dog. We heard owls at night and the sky is clear enough to see stars. Very relaxing week.

A beautiful cottage, very well equipped and in a stunning location. Dogs made very welcome and the neighbours are very friendly. We enjoyed a fabulous week exploring the multitude of walks on the Forestry Commission trails. Plenty to see and do locally. Tarr Steps is well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful holiday here me my partner and children my mom and dad .weather was beautiful .the cottage was spotless and in the times we are in at the moment i was very glad that it was . The bed linen and the beds were all perfect so comfy we all agreed . Downsides to cottage were the very tight single track road that it's on you do get use to it .but at the end of it you are on a blind spot to get onto a main road where they do go fast be very careful . I think the council need to make the entrance known to people comming down that road with a sign of some type to warn that people do pull out . There are lots of bees in the garden area around a fuchsia plant right by the massive table that you have outside .I love bees and not frightened by them but if you are or are allergic i do think the table would be better placed somewhere else not next to them .signal for phone is not good but wifi is fine .sky channels are basic .a tumble dryer would be handy also .when we booked we was told we could be there for 3 and leave at 11 it then changed to 5pm and leave at 9 I did feel that this lost us a day really but it is for cleaning. i do think it should of been changed before booked tho . In all we loved this cottage would go back definatly

This was a special magical place as my wife’s parents and grandmother had lived here along with seven of her siblings all born here between 1932 & 1946.
It was hard to imagine how life must have been, obviously a lot of work and extensions have been made in recent years.

We stayed for a week at Well Cottage, and it was absolutely amazing, the cottage itself had everything we could need and the view was just incredible. The owner was very helpful and answered and dealt with any queries straightaway.
The cottage is located on a single track road, which yes some cars travel down quite fast, however we managed to walk our two dogs along it to the locals woods and never felt unsafe. I only marked down on the local amenities purely because of the awkward drive to the supermarkets in Minehead, but luckily it is still quite a short distance.
Me and my family will definitely like to stay here again!

The cottage is beautiful set in a very scenic valley with lots of interest around. It's extremely well equipped and the owners cater for all their visitors including the dogs (dog towels and biscuits provided). The bird feeder outside the kitchen window is a real bonus full of action and variety even for those like us who don't know much about birds! The only issue we had was travelling along the single track roads around the whole area but walks and countryside were well worth it.
