We very much enjoyed our short break at The Chatham.
We very much enjoyed our short break at The Chatham. The house was comfortable and suited our needs. We enjoyed being so close to the centre of town and loved the views out over the bay. Although it was central the property was quiet and peaceful.
It was our first visit to Lyme Regis and we loved the area. It is a bustling little place with lovely walks and a lot of places of interest to visit.

The Chatham is a lovely house, as eating in is easier at the moment it would have been nice to have had pasta bowls and better crockery as a few items were chipped which I don’t find acceptable.
The sofas and tv could do with an update, but overall a great place to stay. We loved the outside space and great to have three bathrooms. We would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay for 10 days, the stairs are a bit much for the children but we were so pleased to see a stair gate at the top! Really well positioned next to the coop and Tesco, and such a quick walk down to the beach. Amazing views out to sea, no complaints at all.

A lovely apartment/house.
A lovely apartment/house. Lots of stairs so best you are fit. Not suitable for anybody without 100% mobility.
Lovely view from rooftop patio. Seagulls are a pain but that’s the British seaside these days.
Good location in the shopping centre right next door to Tesco and Boots. But I need to worry the house is in a little oasis with lovely views.
All facilities and the beach just a short walk away. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay but have one major complaint about the car parking situation.
We really enjoyed our stay but have one major complaint about the car parking situation. As accommodation sleeps 8 there is only room for 2 cars to park within the area. We had 4 cars arriving and only 2 were allowed to drive through the NCP car park freely. If we were to leave the other 2 cars within the NCP it was going to cost approx £12 a day per car, which is too much

Very comfortable holiday cottage with amazing views. 2 flights of stairs up to the accommodation but didn't detract from our enjoyment. Excellent location.

We had a wonderful week in Lyme Regis, staying at Chatham House.
The house is very well appointed and comfortable, plenty of room for all seven of us.
The bedroom allocation needs to be considered if there are any mobility issues as the two flights of stairs to the living area may be enough for some. Two of the bedrooms are accessed via another staircase.
The whole group agreed that they would definitely recommend the Chatham, and would love to return to Lyme Regis.

Perfect location and close to all amenities very quiet and relaxing.
A lot of steps to get up to the accommodation but once there most of rooms on same floor. Could do with a larger tv as the room is very big. Maybe a good idea to have either a parasol or something that you can put up on balcony while eating meals to ward off the seagulls.

Lovely clean house although balcony and outdoor area needs a bit of a sweep up of cobwebs and dead plants removing.
Comfortable beds. Good hot showers, and comfortable sofas ensuring a relaxing stay.
Parking a squeeze but doable.
House in central location. Nice and quiet.
Would recommend.

Good location and convenient for all shopping and attractions in Lyme.
Good location and convenient for all shopping and attractions in Lyme. Good views of the coast from the living room and balcony. Spacious, with well equipped kitchen and good quality bedding. Only criticism is that it is looking a little tired, externally especially. Balcony needs a good clean and some replanting, covered in bird droppings when we arrived, with dead plants in the flower boxes. Also the internal paintwork, skirting, doors etc could have been cleaner. Having said all this, I would book again.
