It was an perfect base for a few days hiking on Exmoor. It could not be located in a better position within Dulverton. The facilities were very comfortable and communication with the owners was excellent. Thank you!

Lovely rustic cottage in pretty small town.
Lovely rustic cottage in pretty small town.
Mostly all good with cottage a bit noisy in the morning as right on road.
Shower pressure is not that good and water pipes in upstairs bathroom to sink knock and vibrate on occasions.
On the whole though good place to stay

We've stayed at The Boot a few times, always in February. It is centrally located enabling visitors to walk to all the amenities in Dulverton. We take our small dog, which is great although the house has no garden. Parking is either on the street, or there is a large car park around the corner. There is good range of kitchen equipment, however the large dinner plates do not fit into the dishwasher, so we had to wash those separately. There are 2 bathrooms, with a Victorian style suite upstairs (no shower) and a shower room down. There is a useful utility room, but there is no sink. The wood burning stove makes the large, comfortable living room cosy and the separate dining room seats 8, which is great for family dinners. There is plenty of room in the hall for shoes, but as there are only 4 hooks this makes hanging coats tricky for 8 people. Equally, there are no coat hooks in the utility room which would be handy particularly when it is wet. In spite of these issues, we would definitely stay at the property again.

Had a lovely girls weekend at the Boot. Dulverton is beautiful and the Bridge Inn, which is a stone's throw is great. Was recommended the Thai restaurant by a local but sadly it was full :(
The house is right on the road, which was busy for a light sleeper like me - so woke as soon as the cars started moving. Also, there is no outdoor space at all - which is a shame, luckily it was sunny so we went to the pub!

Lovely house.
Lovely house. I had not taken into account that there was no garden, which was a shame, but there was a green and the delightful river 30 seconds from the door.

Lovely weekend break
A beautiful cottage with plenty of living space and a very well equipped galley style kitchen. As a group of 7 adults and a young baby we had ample space to socialise and relax. We really enjoyed our stay at The Boot and would recommend.

Lovely cottage but quite a few cobwebs around and some lights didn’t work.
Lovely cottage but quite a few cobwebs around and some lights didn’t work. Only cottage where there was no welcome pack not a problem but freaked family members out who were upstairs 2 days into holiday and someone came in and left a bottle of wine and
two light bulbs . Overall would recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at the Boot
I went with partner, son , daughter and their partner and two dogs. The cottage was beautiful, clean, warm and cosy.
Trish who organised key collection was most helpful and friendly and we were greeted with a complimentary box of biscuits.
I cannot criticise any part of this accommodation and will definitely stay again.
Thank you
