The condo was perfect! Clean, spacious, nice balcony with view of mountains, well equipped kitchen, and nice facilities with heated pool and hot tub access. Excellent location with short walk to slope. Would not hesitate to stay here in the future!

Easy to park, easy to ski, no need to get into your car once you arrive. I would stay here again and i would recommend to others!

Arrived to two days of fresh powder coming down. Amazing.
Room was clean, plenty of clean towels, plenty of pillows and blankets, kitchen fully stocked.

Host is very responsive to inquiries. Great condo for skiing with cozy fireplace. Few minutes walk to lifts. Underground parking (with card key access) is great as there is not much public parking in Solitude. Ski locker on ground level is convenient. Condo is on the back side of the building, away from village center so a bit more quiet. There is no "front-desk" inside Powderhorn Lodge so be ready to "self-serve". Lockbox is a little tricky to open (needs WD40?) Bring Kleenex. Will stay again!

We have been coming to Solitude for years. Its charm and perfection keep us coming back...but Powderhorn unit 203 was nothing but 20 years out of date and poorly maintained.
The price per night warrants quality not lackluster accommodations. Don't get fooled by "luxury" in the description. It was disappointing. I would stay elsewhere.

It was our first time staying at Charlottetown, and will be a memorable experience, we will be back.

Really nice condo. Great furnishings and decor, including a thermostat controlled gas fireplace and nice leather recliner. Nice TVs in the living room and bedroom. Very convenient to the slopes, restaurants and pool/hot tubs. The village is small, with only two restaurants and very little evening activity, so this might not be the spot for everyone but it worked well for my wife and me.

We enjoyed the location and the unit immensely. Not a long walk to slopes and we got really lucky with the powder. We tried to take advantage of the solbrit trail to get a day at Brighton, but it was closed, so watch carefully if that is open for you, if you try the same. Unit was nicely furnished and outfitted.

Three days of skiing at Solitude. Easy ski-in/ski-out. Good facilities with club, game room, pool and hot tubs. Couple of good restaurants close by. Easy access to SLC airport. If your focus is skiing, this place is great!

It was a great location but the property itself was very dated and didn't have nearly enough light. The wifi was also very unreliable and was frequently out..

We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again and I would highly recommend. The only improvement would be a soft memory foam for the bed, since the bed is pretty hard and some better lamps to light up the condo better. It’s really dark in all of the areas, even with window coverings open. We would definitely stay again though and we hope to have the opportunity. It’s really great and I highly recommend!!!

Easy walk to lifts
This condo is in the Powderhorn Lodge at the base of Solitude. It is an easy walk to the lifts. Powderhorn Lodge has underground parking which was convenient.
The unit was clean and comfortable. The owner, Kevin, responded to my questions quickly and was easy to reach.
Though it's a one bedroom, there was a pullout couch in what these units term "the den" which is an open area to the right between the bedroom and the bathroom.
I was there to ski, and it was an easy walk from the lodge to the Apex lift. From there you can get to anywhere on the mountain.
I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a ski getaway in the winter. I'm sure it would be fabulous in the summer as well.

Solitude Retreat
1. Owner should provide tissues.
2. If you say you are supplying shampoo and conditioner a1ml bottle is not enough to wash one person's hair with.
3. The bedspread in the main bedroom smelled like musty BO - bed covers should always be cleaned.
4. The location was good.
5. I would like to know where the garbage and recycling are disposed of.
6. How to use the storage lockers for skis and snowboards would also have been helpful.
7. Lockbox instructions - if you enter the wrong passcode it would have been helpful to tell the guest how to reset the lockbox.
8. The owner was easy to reach by phone - I felt bad having to call him with simple questions.
9. Wifi didn't connect all the time.

Good place, needs more information
This was a decent place with a great location for skiing. However, the basic amenities were lacking. There was no information inside the condo regarding the wifi, TV, what to do with trash, cleaning instructions, jacuzzi location and rules, local grocery or dining options ect. The internet did not work well and had to be restarted many times and we could not get the TV to work. It sleeps 6, but is a small space for the price. 2 of the beds are just old fold out couches. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee filters, oil and spices, oatmeal, peanut butter ect. from previous renters. Overall it did the job but was nothing special. Kevin was very responsive and helpful when we could not find the place at night.

Great Ski Condo
We really enjoyed staying at this one bedroom condo. I was nominated to sleep on the sleeper sofa, which was surprisingly comfortable! It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Apex Express lift. Kevin was very responsive to any questions we had.

this property and location is magic. Exactly as advertised. Kevin was extremely quick and professional in text responses on questions I had. My family and I will be back to stay here again next season.

A perfect condo for a Solitude getaway
I am joining many other reviewers with a 5-star rating for this property. The condo is very clean and has all the amenities you would expect. The location at the Powderhorn lodge is perfect and is 3 minutes away from the lift. The host, Kevin, was very responsive and accommodating, including a couple of special requests. Our family stay was enjoyable and trouble-free. Highly recommended.

Nice Place in Solitude
We enjoyed our stay at Powderhorn. Kitchen was well equipped and the condo is very comfortable. We could not find a "manual" which left us with questions about the heat, ski locker and parking. ( Maybe we just missed it:) But Kevin was wonderful in getting back to us quickly with all of our questions.

Christmas skiing. Quaint condo. Short walk to the apex lift.
Condo has everything we needed to cook each night. Smith’s grocery about 15 min down the mountain. Ski storage in lobby and in garage under building. Lift tickets & ski rentals are at base of building. Very convenient. Kevin was responsive.

great ski week
Very nice unit. Could fix the small things like burned out light in the bedroom, bedroom closet doors did not slide easily, bedroom Directv had parenteral controls on and the WIFI didn't work. Not big things but many small things. Also the Solitude desk did not help us because we didn't book through them.

Great Location. Comfortable Stay
We had a great time at Solitude. Having the key upon arrival was great...nice to not have to deal with the typical check-in process. The space was pretty well stocked, and the kitchen definitely came in handy! Direct TV, with HBO and Cinemax, was fantastic when compared to the usual hotel tv setup...a definite plus in my book. The little outdoor deck was lovely, too. Everyone who worked at Solitude that we interacted with was beyond friendly and nice. The ski locker on mainfloor was a fantastic convenience. Kevin's communication was excellent.

Cozy convenience
Five friends and I very much enjoyed our four nights at this property. Kevin's communication was exceptional. The condo was modern and well equipped. The location and amenities made for a relaxing and stress-free three days of skiing. We had the hot tub at the Powderhorn building to ourselves almost every night. The sofa beds were as expected...fine for a few nights. The little conveniences made all the difference...dish soap, paper towels, kitchen basics, etc. Garage parking, complimentary laundry and Club Solitude were the icing on the cake. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Stay at Solitude
Such a great condo and a wonderful mountain. My wife and I spent 3 nights on the mountain. The space was very clean, well stocked, and super comfortable. We enjoyed the mountain views as well as the comfy King size master. The location is excellent. Kevin makes the whole process very easy. We arrived during a snowstorm so the underground parking was a real bonus! If ever your plans take you to Solitude book this space. And if you haven't been...make sure you go!

Great family ski trip!
This is a wonderful condo for a family. It’s a one bedroom with 2 pull out couches for kids. The kitchen is well stocked so you can cook. Club Solitude has some fun extras and it’s so close! The condo is no frills but very comfortable.
Thanks for a great stay!

Father Son Trip
This was the second year in a row that my 11 old son and I made the trip to Solitude with another family and we hope to make it a tradition. We also hope to make our stay at Powderhorn 302 place a tradition. We found the condo unit to be comfortable, clean and well stocked, and the location is fantastic. We had a short walk to the slopes each day. The unit is a one bedroom, and was ample space for my son and me.
The primary reason we hope to return to the same condo, however, is that the owner, Kevin, was incredibly responsive and helpful, from my first inquiry about the unit and location to his quick answers to some questions after we arrived. My son and I will be returning to Solitude next Winter, and we hope to stay in Powderhorn 203 again!

Cute, comfortable, basic condo in fun location
Very comfortable condo for our family of 3.
Kitchen was well equipped and even had handy items like coffee filters, honey and olive oil. King bed is comfortable, shower works well. We loved skiing at Solitude and ski access from the condo is an easy few minute walk. Club Solitude with hot tub , heated pool, and pool table entertained our family apres ski. The village has some nice restaurants. The Honeycomb Grill is outstanding.

We enjoyed our stay at Kevin’s place. It was comfortable and really convenient to everything in solitude (which is a pretty small village). Kevin was amazingly responsive with helpful information before and during our stay. Thank you!

Great place
The condo is very clean, very well furnished, and the building is very nice and quiet with good parking and good amenities. Super short and easy walk to the lifts.
Kevin was a breeze to work with and I would be happy to rent again.

Great location
The condo had everything we needed and we would definitely come back. Plenty of room for the two of us but easily could’ve fit a couple more people on one of the pullout couches. The only downfall is no washer and drier in the unit but at least there is one on our floor. Very easy to check in and out too. Thanks for the nice stay!!
