Cameras may also monitor parking compliance including but not limited to confirming that no vehicles encroach upon or park over the sidewalk in any way, or illegally park on the street without a Funtierland provided parking permit. We stayed here to participate in RunDisney events. We liked having a washer and dryer to take care of post-race laundry. The condo is quite a walk to Disney when it’s hot, and it was unseasonably so this trip, so we ended up using Uber most of the time. The condo had everything we needed as advertised, but was a little more dated than we expected, and could use a little fixing up inside. The host communication was excellent and they were very accommodating to requests. This is a good place to stay if you don’t mind a longer walk to the parks.

We had a great time. The house was clean and comfortable. The pool was amazing with having a shallow pool and a deep pool that worked for all ages and swimmers.

The most important thing is all is that the beds were comfortable.
This is an old condo complex and a very old condo. It has been cheaply updated and is good enough but by no means nice.
The neighbors next door smoke all sorts of products, constantly. If you wore socks or bare feet (as owner requested) your bottom of your feet were quickly black.
Tub has a hard time draining and makes a lot of noise downstairs when doing so.
Pool was found to be refreshing but not kept well. From bandaids on the pool decks to hair masses it was hard to be comfortable.
We would not recommend spending any amount to stay here.

Pros: nice kitchen and living area.
Plenty of home amenities and kitchen supplies, including blender, crockpot and various sizes of pots and pans.
Pantry items like salt and pepper, coffee and various spices.
Walking distance to Disneyland
Nice to have separate living spaces for each family member.

Cons:
Needs a map of how to get to Mickey tram, that was a bit tricky to figure out the first day and cost us some time.
Quiet time from 9:30pm-9am is super difficult when you have kids.
Some of the furniture was worn/broken.
All in all it was great though!

I feel like the property was misrepresented in the pictures. The bedroom windows were open and unlocked when we got there. I also feel like someone maybe came inside while we were gone in the day time. Curtains were moved. I would book again because location was fabulous

The most important thing is the property was very clean! we had trouble the next night when the door lock battery died. I was able to contact Frontierland and they were able to get us into the dwelling within a few minutes. The next day they sent out maintenance to install a new battery. The maintenance person was very nice and took care of the situation quickly. We would definitely book through VRBO again!

Our stay here was great! The place was clean and the kitchen had everything you needed appliance/cooking wise. We rented a stroller and the communication was punctual. Very nice to have the stroller already delivered before arriving to the unit. After walking several times to Disneyland during our stay, it’s about a 0.80 mile walk from the condo to the front gates of Disneyland or California Adventures, so not too far! Our son (3yo) really enjoyed the park at the complex when we had some down time as well.
The kids room upstairs has some toys and books available which was really nice since we didn’t bring any. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for something affordable and within proximity to Disneyland! We had Instacart deliver food so we had groceries for the week and it was great! If we ever go back to Disneyland, we will probably stay here again :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We easily walked each day to Disneyland. The double stroller provided by Bed knobs and Broomsticks was so handy for our visit with a 4 year old and 1 year old. Great location with everything we needed.

We had a great experience at Bedknobs and Broomsticks, managed by Funtierland. So many things that were great:
Location - very walkable to Disneyland for adults (including a 65-year-old). Your littles will be exhausted, but that comes with Disney territory.
Super clean and well supplied. Plenty of plates, cookware, coffee pot, spices. Gas stove. Even a crock pot and blender! Plenty of towels. Baby gates on the stairs. You should pick up plastic wrap when you go shopping, to save left overs and pack lunches.
High chair and strollers, too (we did not have kids, but still good to know).
Beds were fully comfortable.
Garage. Very glad we had for our rented convertible during the storms this year.
You can call them any time with questions or concerns. They were super helpful and really nice people. Wonderful to work with.
Not their fault, but good to know:
Pool and jacuzzi close at 9pm.
We were there during record-breaking rain, and discovered the house is not that big if you're cooped up in it all day. If it were dry, we would have been on the two porches.

Overall it was a great stay. Property managers are very communicative. We’ve stayed in places in this community before and in general the buildings are all old and rundown. We knew that going into it and chose to stay here because it fit our large family and is super close to Disneyland. We went when it was cold so we didn’t swim nor did we plan to. Had we gone when it was warmer the strict pool area rules of the community would have been hard for our family of 9 as you can only have 6 people from one family even in the gated area.
There are other community rules that might be hard for some families as well, but we were there for Disneyland and planned to be at the park and sleep at our lodging so the rules weren’t too stressful.
It’s a perfect place to stay for a Disneyland trip. If you plan to spend a lot of time at the condo and amenities, it may have some rules and regulations that are tricky, but still manageable.

This condo had everything you could want for a Disney vacation with your kids. It was as close to Disneyland as you could be without staying at a Disney hotel, a quick 15 min walk. You could come home from the parks for lunch or a nap before going back. There were strollers for use, and the double stroller got a workout. There were kids utensils, baby gates, sand toys, a high chair, pack n play and everything was easy. There were 3 pools and a hot tub. The kiddie pool was about 1.5 ft deep. Great experience.

The quick walk to Disneyland was the highlight of this property! The association kept the grounds clean and we never heard any outside noise during the evening hours. Would 100% recommend this location to any groups looking for a place close to Disneyland.

It was a comfortable place, the check-in was easy, the host was very accessible, and the location was PERFECT. Close enough to walk to Downtown Disney, or the parking garage and tram to the park. Overall fantastic experience -- thank you!

The complex needs updating but the place was clean and well stocked. The space was perfect for our family of 7. We loved the location, close to the trams. There was no crosswalk closer to the property and Magic Way. The closest crosswalk adds another 10 minute walk based on Google. Truthfully, we jay walked. Great location, great price, great customer service.

We love the location of this property. We were able to walk to Disneyland in a short 10 minutes. The unit was perfect for our three children. It came with a lot of helpful items like strollers and a pack and play. Kitchen was fully stocked with items we needed. The Unit was a little dated but it was nice and clean. I would recommend this property!

Being right across the street from disney property was extremely convenient. The house was exactly as pictured and clean. The use of strollers and laundry extremly convenient. If i had one complaint it would be that trying to find the house in the complex was a little challenging. If a map showing where the house and garage are, was sent along with the key code that would be super helpful. We would definitely stay again.

This is a close to downtown Disney place. Easy walk in! 2 small bedrooms and one large one with a spacious closet for a crib (honestly great set-up for kids in cribs). Good set up for kids, parents and grandparents on a Disney trip. Kitchen was easy to navigate and well labeled. Outside space was nice, pool and hot tub were fun and good for relaxing after a long day on our feet. One shower/bath upstairs and small half bath on main made for easy kid baths at the end of the day, but needed coordinating for the morning with adults. Would certainly stay here again. Ran professionally and clean.

The location was perfect. The condo/interior was clean, however it could use a makeover. Fresh paint, newer flooring downstairs by the washer and dryer and half bathroom. Furniture needs updating. The strollers, baby beds, high chairs, etc I wouldn’t use didn’t look too clean plus they were old. The property/exterior itself is also old, its definitely in NEED of MAJOR remodeling. We probably would not stay there again.

If all you care about is location then this is the place to stay! Great location. However don’t let the pictures fool you! The building is very run down! They have done some renovations and decorated the inside nice.
Many thing in this unit were broken, it created lots of problems on this trip. The fan in kids room was stuck on high. So the kids had to sleep downstairs. No cable on tv downstairs. No remote for tv upstairs that had cable! The dryer did not work. So after getting back from the park at midnight I had to stay up until three am then set my alarm to get up every 45 minutes to dry our clothes.The keypad for the front door was broke we were on tight schedule and locked out with broken keypad and the door handle completely came off.

The condo was a great location and had everything we needed being away from home. It was perfect for a longer stay and we loved the space it gave us. My kids loved the pool area!
The only issues we had was that the internet was down quite a bit and the electronics in the house wasn’t working (DVD player didn’t work and there were 3 remotes but none of it was for the DVD player). We contacted the property manager and had a quick response. She had someone out to fix the internet and brought a new DVD player out.
The check in/out process was so easy. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely stay here again.

The kitchen was updated and well equipped, but the bathrooms and patio are in need of repair and updating. The patio was not clean and the tile flooring on the patio was broken and chipped.
We were warned 3 times by the property manager that there was a quiet time in the morning until 9 am. We abided by this regulation, however, neighbors allowed their children to cry, scream and yell starting at 7:00 am while on their patio. The air conditioner does not keep the master bedroom cool and we had to use a large fan to circulate the air.

Short Disney Trip
We selected this property for its proximity to Disney. We walked to the main gate in about a half hour (through Downtown Disney). Saved us plenty in parking. It was also nice we could see the fireworks the nights we weren't in the park!
The property itself worked well for our family of 4. Having two patios allowed us to have out own personal outdoor space if we wanted it. The gas stove is very welcome. A lot of rentals have electric and we much prefer gas! It was also really nice to have a garage, even if it was detached. It helps keep the car cool instead of baking in the sun. Much easier on shorts/skirts covered legs. Our kids are older but they had lots of little kid stuff ready to use (strollers, beach chairs, baby gates). .
I did have to call for a minor maintenance issue. It wasn't urgent so no one came while we were there but the office staff was quick to answer the phone and very friendly and helpful.
I was a little worried about the seriousness of some of the warnings, especially about noise. I think those are more to say "If the city fines you for being loud, dont say we didn't warn you!" We didn't have any problems.

Perfect location
Place was clean, well furnished, comfortable and perfect location. Nothing is far, Disneyland across the street we had kids as young as 7 to those in upper 50s and we were able to walk to the parks and downtown Disney no nissue. Would stay here again for sure!

Nice location to Disney
We arrived and found the unit to be 87 degrees, it was stuffy. The unit was clean but could use some updates. The paint was different shades and looked as though they hired teenagers to paint it. There were 6 in our group and we were comfortable once the AC was repaired (2days after check in) I was told when I called that a reimbursement would be given for the lack of AC, no one ever reached to me about that. We stayed 11 nights, we kept all the rules and left the unit very clean. It is close to Disney and it was an easy walk to the park. There are many dining options close by. The complex was nice, however, there is a block of units right where we stayed that seriously need the siding done, ours was one of them. Siding and exterior paint would make a huge improvement.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, but I do wish that Funtierland had reached out to me to give some sort of a refund for not having AC for the first two days. Yes it’s California weather, and yes it did eventually cool down in the unit at about midnight, but that was with windows open and box fans put up against the windows to help pull the cooler temps in, the noise from all the fans made it difficult to hear the tv. Being that we occupied the unit for 11 straight days, you would think a one night refund at the minimum would be appropriate, CRICKETS!

Disneyland for large family
We wanted to go to Disneyland with our family and grandparents. It was great to spread out in a condo rather than squeezing into a hotel room. The unit is within walking distance to Disneyland which was very convenient for our family!

No A/C
We were happy with the location butthe day we got there it was hot 🔥 84° and only dropped to 82° with the air conditioning at 70°.
We spoke with the property management and they said just open the windows at night and put fans in them to make it cooler.
This was unacceptable we had booked the location because of where it is located but now we see when things look to good to be true they are.
The management team said they would reimburse me some of my money i paid for the inconvenience but they lied about that also. Not a good place to stay If you plan on being comfortable.
