I stayed here while moving to the area and house hunting. Absolutely beautiful property and the hosts were outstanding. Thanks so much!

Historic Guest House is a fun over-the-garage apartment in a great neighborhood. It's a little shabby, and a little chilly in the winter. Because this is an older property, the windows don't open. The coldest & hottest months may not be the best time to rent this apartment.
The kitchen is adequate for simple meals; a good fit if you would rather sample all of the wonderful cafes and restaurants in the area. The mattress is extra firm and the bedding is super soft and comfy. Although the hosts responded promptly to our text messages, they did not ask if we needed anything or if we were comfortable.
A bit more attention to detail would make this property shine.

This is a wonderfully restored old space. It is more charming than the pictures. My stay was perfect in every way. I highly recommend this VRBO.

It was a cute little stay, right above their garage separate from the house. My husband and I really loved this place.

I thoroughly enjoyed being a guest at this property! The space is superb and the Rogers had amazing hospitality! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in this area!

We loved the historic neighborhood and proximity to the restaurants and shops on Magnolia. we love to walk and the proximity to the Trinity River trail system was perfect. Lots to do in Ft. Worth and we like the overall vibe of the city. The property itself had everything we needed and the size was ideal for the two of us. The Rogers were great hosts and we felt at home right away. I highly recommend Ryan Place!

I needed a place to stay for a month-long nursing rotation at JPS Hospital. This apartment is extremely close to the hospital district in Ft. Worth; it was a perfect fit! The pictures are exactly as the apartment is, except they have added a small gas stove/oven that wasn't mentioned when I rented. There is a microwave and fridge. There is not a washer/dryer, but there is a laundromat nearby. The bed is very comfortable and the whole place is decorated in farm-house style. Very cute and comfortable!
If "too quiet" bothers you, there's a box fan you can use for white noise; it is very quiet there.
I was slightly concerned about privacy when I realized it was a garage apartment behind their house, but don't worry- Chris and his wife are VERY hospitable, but not nosey at all. I rarely saw them, although they are a lovely couple, with a beautiful home and inviting backyard. Chris took the time to show me the place and how to work the gate. They have two sweet dogs who like to greet you in the evenings. Don't worry about the dogs either, they keep them in at night and I rarely, if ever, heard them bark. The neighbors are all quiet as well. I have zero complaints.
JPS hospital is about 2 miles from the apartment and THR is close as well. Magnolia St., with its many fun restaurants, is on the way home if you need to stop for a quick dinner. I stopped at Yucatan for taco's to go many nights, and there is a cool bakery on Magnolia to stop at in the mornings if you want to bring treats to work!
The home is very clean, quiet and stocked with everything you need. There are many extras in the bathroom if you forget things. There is a Fiesta grocery store a few blocks away, so you really are close to anything you need. There was even a bike at the bottom of the stairs, I presume was for me if I wanted to use? Even if it wasn't, they're so chill, I bet if I asked, they would have let me.
Historic Fairmount has some amazing homes (including this one) that are fun to look at if you have time for evening walks. Best of all, it was so relaxing to get "home" within 4 minutes of a long workday.
This is a perfect place for a couple or single person who needs to be close to the hospital district.
Thank you for your hospitality, Rogers family! You made my last month of nursing school much easier!

My wife and I spent a night here and absolutely loved it. It's a tiny little place but, it is very well put together and we both loved it. All of the little details really show how much thought the owners put into this place. My wife and I both highly recommend it.

I absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the adorable guest cottage. I have rented properties many times before, but this has exceeded all the expectations! Incredibly furnished, super quiet and peaceful (went jogging in the area every day), everything was thought of and generously provided. Owners are super nice and non intrusive at all. And the coffee shop, cafes, restaurants and bakeries on nearby Magnolia street are seriously to die for!

Wow is all I can say - We never wanted to leave. Chris welcomed us when we got there, showed us around and was helpful with things to do and see in the area. Location was perfect for getting on and off I-30 or 35. Small grocery store near by that we just bought some breakfast food as cottage had toaster, refg, coffee maker, coffee and all plates, glasses and utensils. Cottage was as cute as it could be with tons of tiny touches that made it feel like you were home. Comfortable bed, with extra fan and heater which while we stayed we needed both. With air on you can't hear the train that does come by quite frequently - the only time we heard it was early one morning when the air wasn't on. But even that was entertaining. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very good location. In a quiet neighborhood with beautiful historic homes. Close to restaurants and downtown. Loved it.

Beautiful and thoughtful space. Felt like I was in a southern timeless place. Chris was great when I arrived to make sure I had everything I needed. The separate entrance was perfect for all my coming and going. I was a bit far from my business location, but was able to Uber and bike, which was wonderful. I only wish I could have had more time to spend in such a cozy and special place.

We needed a place to stay for one night, when we decided to visit the Kimball Museum exhibit on impulse. The owners were responsive and made it easy for us to plan the trip. I also looked into the usual hotel options and just couldn't bring myself to settle for the antiseptic, cookie-cutter options I found close to the museum. My husband and I were so glad to have found this apartment! The owner told us where to find wonderful dining options just a few blocks away and there was a lovely bottle of wine in the apartment for us. It was as good as it gets!
