You'll be right in the middle of charming Old Town when you plan a stay at this two-bedroom Florence vacation condo! All on one level, this space is ideal for family getaways or couples traveling together to the river and seaside town of Florence. Plus, this rental is dog friendly, so you don't have to leave anyone at home.
Classically decorated with a mountain cabin theme, this condo is filled with comfortable furniture and outdoorsy touches. In the living room, you'll be greeted with plush sofas and an overstuffed chair - perfect for relaxing on a chilly coast night. The TV has both cable and a DVD player for watching movies and your favorite shows. WiFi is also provided for your convenience.
A private balcony has rustic-styled furniture and makes a great setting for enjoying a morning cup of tea or mug of freshly brewed coffee. When you're out and about town, you may even want to pick up some seafood or steaks to prepare out on the balcony's gas grill. And if it's a little cold to share the meal outside, there's a dining room table for six right inside.
In addition to the grill, you'll have a full, well-stocked kitchen here! Keep your restaurant budget in check by preparing home-cooked meals and snacks for everyone. You'll find all the necessary major appliances here for pastas, a taco night, and even a brunch or two. There's a blender for fruit smoothies and lots of counter space for kitchen helpers to pitch in and lend a hand.
Both bedrooms have beautiful wood bed frames - one with a king sized bed and the other with a queen. Both have classic accessories and warm, snuggly bear and moose themed quilts. This condo will comfortably sleep up to four human guests and one dog (with a nightly pet fee).
An additional amenity that you won't find in a hotel is the washer and dryer. Don't worry about having to re-wear clothes or overpack, because you'll be able to have clean clothes as needed here.
With a great location in Old Town, you're just steps away from the bustling center of Florence. Spend your days exploring the town, browse galleries, plan a visit to the Siuslaw Pioneer Museum for a glimpse at the life of Florence's early settlers, or just sit back with a cappuccino and freshly-made pastry while you people watch from the Siuslaw River Coffee Roaster's patio. Plan a stop at the Old Town Park for a few quiet moments sitting the the Gazebo and watching the river flow by.
Just about five miles north of downtown, Florence has a long sandy shore at Heceta Beach. Take the dog on a beach run, pack a picnic lunch for a day on the sand, or just relax under a big beach umbrella. From here, join the locals in clamming, drive an additional six miles north for a visit to the Sea Lion Caves, or even do some whale watching from shore.
For a change of pace, Three Rivers Casino is just a couple of minutes northwest of the condo. Plan an evening out with dinner and a show. You can also stay right in the Old Town neighborhood and have numerous cafes and eateries to choose from - plus, a lot of options are even easily walkable from your condo.
Florence is also home to many festivals and special events. There's the Winter Folk Festival in January, the Rhododendron Festival in May, Celebrate Arts! in November, and a special visit from Santa each December. One thing is certain, whatever time of year you plan a stay at this Florence vacation rental, there'll be a number of fun activities to choose from - even if it's just enjoying the river views from your comfortable Old Town condo.

Being able to walk to all the great eating places loved them all
Beds were great and perfect for the 4 of us meeting from Idaho and California

Great location and a comfortable stay!

Great location for everything in Florence

We asked to talk to the local manager. No one responded. We were never given a local contact person’s number to communicate with. We were sent an incorrect 9-digit Passcode for the door lock. We did not get into the unit until over an hour late!!! It turned out to be a simple 4-digit code. We tried the initial code sent to us for almost a hour before reaching a customer service person who gave us the 4digit correct pass code. There was no contact person given if we had any problems. There was no Welcome Binder with info on how to use the oven or the tv and other electronic info . 3 of us tried to figure it out unsuccessfully; consequently did not use the equipment. We did find the unit spacious and well maintained. We were 3 70 year olds and the actual key/doorknob unit was difficult to use. It seemed worn out or requiring maintenance. Each of us dreaded using the door lock. Our other feedback concerns toiletries provided and the towels ; towels were paper thin and not standard quality. The toiletries in the master suite was 1 small Dove shampoo and 1 conditioner for 2 adults for a 3 night stay - it was inadequate and no extras were to be found. In the kitchen, there was a paper towel rack with paper towels, but no dishes or hand towels. There were only 5 mugs, we had to keep hand washing them or run the dishwasher when it was not full. There were no small size bowls. No vegetable peeler. Main issue provided wrong info. We left before 10 am today.

Extremely clean and Quiet

Great area, close to literally everything, spacious and quiet. And you can take a bubble bath!!
If you like extra firm beds, this king size bed is for you! If you’re allergic to dust, this is definitely not the place for you!
Just a few touches would go along way in this condo. The sliding doors to the patio adjacent the kitchen have no blinds. The refrigerator has an indoor ice and water dispenser. However, it was not hooked up. The TV in the living room is the size of a computer monitor and there were no streaming services available. WiFi Was available, however, it slowed down our 5G phones when connected. Have patience with trying to figure out where to take the trash and with getting an accurate code to access the dumpsters. If you are mobility chalkenged,
Be aware this unit is on the second floor with many steps to get to it.

Great place. Great location. Want to come back and stay in a couple of months

We travel to the coast each Christmas with our dog. The condo exceeded our expectations: Great location, clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and kitchen stocked. We look forward to staying there again next year.

Great location, lots of room. We’ve stayed here before. Unfortunately, the hot water heater was having problems, and not having a local contact to resolve it was frustrating. Fortunately, my husband knew how to reset the heater (every day) in order to have hot water.

* No phone/internet/TV the whole time we were there. Called/text multiple people/resources to no avail. Ended up burning through all my hotspot data powering our laptop for sports/entertainment.
*Hot water quit working our second night, no showers all around before heading home Sunday.
*Refrigerator shows picture of ice maker/dispenser, neither of which are hooked up to water. Had to buy ice and water.
*Sliding glass shower doors in hall bath don’t slide. Our daughter almost had to call for help to get out of the shower when they wouldn’t slide open.
*The primary/king bed is extremely firm. I know this can a be a preference, too firm for my husband and my bad backs.
The parking, view, complex, furniture, overall space was very nice. However, the continued hot water problems and non-functioning internet, and shower doors are unacceptable. Personally, I would not continue to rent this unit until these were fixed.

Lovely home ... great location ... very satisfied with the place. The only problem I had was getting into the unit. The access code I was sent didn't work. It took me 45 minutes to get ahold of someone who gave me the correct access code. It surprises me that VACASA sent me an incorrect entry code. Since, according to other reviews, this is a common problem, it definitely needs to be adddressed. Hey, just send the 4 digit code instead of the long 12 to 15 number incorrect code! Now, to end on a positive. note, I would stay in the unit again.

Great location to amenities. Bed was very comfortable. Space was perfect for rental including cabin theme throughout. Clean with the exception of typical rental wear and tear.

Comfortable beds, clean and perfectly located for my purposes. Enjoyed it very much even if I couldn’t find coffee filters.

Wonderful location, easy access to main street. Patio furniture needs updating.

Everything was great, but the outside garbage in the garage needed a code. We asked for the code and were told that the garbage was in the garage which we already knew. The interface communication between vrbo and vacasa wasn't seamless.
Also issue with hot water and tank needed to be reset in order to have a hot shower.
We would come back and recommend to friends.

Great location! Well furnished!
There are a few bird nests on the deck that should be addressed! They are messy! There is an ongoing safety issue with the hot water tank! The thermostat is not working, the water is scolding hot and trip’s breaker daily! We had no hot water when we arrived!
Other than that it is a great place!

This house was absolutely perfect for us! We had a blast while we were staying there. The house was super clean, great location, and had everything there that we could possibly think of needing. It just doesn’t get much better than this!

The property was located convenientlyl and within walking distance to all of our weekends activities. The unit was clean and comfortable. We had a small issue with no hot water for our showers the first morning. Luckily our husbands figured out that the unit must have had power outage before we arrived which kicked off the breaker for the hot water. (Maids should have figured this out.) We called property management and they confirmed that this happens often with the water heater in this unit. This was a slight inconvenience but we were overall very happy with our stay.
4.5
Great location within walking distance to excellent restaurants, but we had no hot water the first day. (Tripped internal breaker in the water heater) Properly manager called the next day and indicated that it had been a continuing problem.
Filtered water in the refrigerator did not work. We had to purchase drinking water at a nearby Safeway.

Perfect location to eateries and shops. It wasn’t that noisy it’s in town. Comfortable stay.

My husband, brother and I had a great time. The only thing you need is your personal things and food. Everything else is provided. The location was great. Only draw back is that it's on the 2nd floor, but we managed with bad knees and/or back. However it was good excersie. The other draw back is I feel for a vacation rental it should not have carpeting, I noticed several stains throughout.

Spent a lovely weekend celebrating my mom's 81st birthday! Easy walking access to Old Town Florence. the stay would have been perfect had there been ice available upon arrival. No ice or ice water even though the refrigerator was set up for it.
4.5
Very comfortable, home like place. Everything we needed was provided for eating, sleeping etc. I would have liked more detailed information on opening the lock-box, however. Took us a while.
4.5
Check in instructions refers to "2" lockboxes you need to open to get door keys. Well there were "3" lockboxes which were VERY difficult to get into. They were loosely mounted so wouldn't take key number we tried to enter. After talking to support staff we finally got 2 keys out but one was severely bent & cracked, so didn't try to use incase it broke in the lock. Could not get the deadbolt lock to open for the longest, it was out of sink, had to jiggle it just so to make it work. After one day in unit we found the ice-maker did not work, & the freezer did not freeze our containers of ice-cream. The screen door to patio was hard to open, runner need waxing/oiling. Water spots on floor of master bedroom & 2 lights out. 2 lights out in livingroom & one diningroom armchair has a loose arm. The vent in laundry room is loose, so dust blows everywhere when using the dryer. We had to run our bath towels thru the dryer when we arrived because they were still damp. The morning delivery trucks wake you up early - beware.
Toby was the serviceman who came & helped us out with several of our complaints, so very much appreciate his help.
Would suggest the management do a walk-thru of this unit every 6 months to make sure everything is in working order.
4.5
Clean, comfortable, fully stocked condo. This was a nice place to relax and feel comfortable. About the only flaw is not the condos owner’s fault, and that is trash and recycle and delivery trucks start about 5:00am. Very noisy if windows are open.
But all in all great for the price.
4.5
Fun location a block from old town. Good parking. All hard surfaces were very clean. Kitchen was stocked with just enough plates, bowls, etc.
No instructions for the place or how to contact anyone for help. - which was pretty frustrating as, for example, no mention of where trash bins were located. We finally found them but then they had a key code lock vacasa was unaware of. The local person finally texted to say “just set outside your door and send a text”. we were about how to contact man who to contact As someone else mentioned- the carpets were dirty, probably stained with pet accidents in living room and master bedroom. Deck was just grungy. Exterior of bbq was filthy althou interior looked clean. Very uncomfortable cushions on deck furniture. Management company is vacasa. Communication with them was very frustrating- but we did get some text messages from a local person who offered to come in and spot clean the stains.
Overpriced for the state of the place.

We loved our short stay. It was in the heart of old town. Such a perfect location to enjoy the water, shopping, dining and more. Clean and homey. We will be back and plan to use this rental again. Thank you for a great experience.

Great location, walkable to everything we needed and a quick drive to the beach. Very comfortable, well-appointed, and easy check-in/check-out.

The apartment was very clean and convenient to town. The beds are comfortable and the space is light and airy.

Super clean and great location

The condo was nicely decorated and very clean. Needs a few updates but not bad. The down stairs neighbor is warry of kids that make a loud of noise so beware.

Spacious rental with comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen if you want to cook. The space was very nice and clean except for a few stains on carpet from previous users. The washer and dryer were very convenient though the dryer vents into the laundry room and creates humidity and heat. Balcony is nice in the morning. Convenient parking and so close to Bag Street that walking was far easier than driving one block over. Great location and well kept.

Great apartment in downtown! Had everything you could need in the kitchen nice big couch and great king size bed and nice bathroom! Loved the whole place and easy access to downtown Florence!
