About this cabin rental
Welcome Home to Cozy Cabin in Estes Park! Originally built in 1935 as a summer bunk house for farm hands, it is surrounded by original farm buildings now turned to residences: farm house, barn, chicken coop, and tool shed.
Cozy Cabin retains its old world mountain charm with restored original hardwood floors, cedar wall accents, and split log siding. The updated family and couple's retreat has all modern conveniences necessary for a comfortable stay including a new kitchen, bathroom and energy efficient windows, one of which is a picture window allowing perfect views of the sunrise. Open year round, the heating units keep the cabin cozy even on chilly nights. Please plan to access the cabin with All/4 Wheel drive in the snowy months (November - May.)
Get away to this quiet retreat just steps away from Rocky Mountain National Park. Hike into Moraine Park or drive the 1.5 miles to the Visitor Center and South Beaver Meadows Entrance. Or shop the unique stores in quaint downtown Estes Park. In the evenings, relax under the pergola with a heater and 365 degree views of the mountains and watch for the family of deer that meanders through the property most days.
Looking for natural phenomenon travel? Spring brings calving season (elk, deer, bobcats, black bear) in and around RMNP. Summer is high season with all the hiking, trekking, rock climbing, family fun activities, horse back riding, Alpine sliding, driving Trail Ridge Road/Old Fall River Road... SOOO much to do! Autumn (Sept - Oct) is peak season to see the Aspen turn bright yellow as well as hear the Elk bugling. The Winter Holiday Season (November/December) offers one of the most quaint and premier shopping towns lit up with Holiday lights. And winter is perfect to get snowed in or to go sledding, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice climbing, or our favorite, trekking the snow-packed trails with traction devices.

This cabin was perfect for the 4 of us!! We had an amazing time. Lots of tears, laughs, & love in this cabin. The host was amazing at communicating with us with the weather, local businesses to eat at & things we could do for fun! We will absolutely stay again in the future.

It was a good location

Exceeded our expectations. Excellent location for easy access to RMNP. Quiet neighborhood; felt private even though you are next to a lot of cabins. Very nice, spacious kitchen. Well stocked with everything you could imagine. We really enjoyed our stay.

Small cozy cabin perfect for two people. we did enjoy the proximity to the park and hiked in one day. The cabin is well stocked and in a quiet neighborhood. It is not as isolated as the pictures depicted but we had no issues. Do expect neighbors on all sides. The price was decent for the area and we would stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at the cozy cabin. It was prefect size for our family of five and dog. The scenery was beautiful, especially the views from the gazebo! We loved the location, very close to YMCA for kids camp, and close to town for restaurants and shopping. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to prepare our meals. It was cozy and had all the amenities needed.
Ruth was so responsive to any questions we had. Thank you again!

Well equipped cabin at a reasonable price. Clean. Property manager friendly with great communication. Will definitely book again should we return to the area.

This was a good cabin for our family for an extended weekend stay in Estes Park. We just needed a place to sleep since we had family in the area to spend time with during the day. It would have been a bit small to spend much time there for our family of 5. It was clean and a quiet, convenient location.

Cabin was in a great location - close to Rocky Mountain national Park!

Perfect quaint cottage to stay at during our exploration of Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s had a well stocked kitchen perfect for our meals.
Great place

A perfect location, only minutes from RMNP Bear Lake entrance! They were kind enough to send a reminder email to sign up for timed entry passes for the park and recommendations on where to go and what to see. Definitely cozy quarters for our family of five, but it worked out well. Would recommend this place to friends and family and would stay again!

The property worked out very well for us, many special touches by owner to make things go smoothly.

Lovely place to stay in the mountains! Has everything you would want. Easy access to RMNP and everything Estes Park has to offer. Would stay again, host was great!

This cabin was very clean and well stocked. We had zero problems!

It was awesome. I have already recommended the place to 3 coworkers.

The weekend was a getaway for our daughter's 12th birthday. We grilled out and had fantastic food our entire stay. It was easy to sign into our streaming subscriptions. There is a local grocery store just a few minutes away. We had a great lunch at The Stanley and the girls at Mary Jane Boutique gave our daughter a "Pretty Woman" experience trying on dresses.

This cozy cabin was perfect for us!

This is our 15th year visiting Estes Park. This cabin is in a great spot with beautiful views and is close to everything we wanted to do. The road up to the cabin is pretty rough, but if your vehicle will make it, it's worth it! Our kids loved having Alexa play their favorite songs and loved being able to watch movies at night. All in all a great little home base for your adventures.

Ruth was an excellent host. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great little property right outside RMNP and Estes! Great location, we saw wildlife everyday and the kids loved it! The heaters worked good so everyone had cozy nights of sleep. Only surprise to us was no traditional oven (missed that in the description) but the toaster oven and convection microwave made cooking meals doable!
4.7
The cabin is lovely and located outside of Estes Park, which means you get an even more beautiful view of the mountains on the drive in. It's very clean and we were glad the heaters worked well as we stayed during the cool fall weather. The kitchen isn't too well stocked if you're planning to cook a lot and the internet is slow if you're planning to work, but the beds are really comfortable and there's plenty of hot water. We didn't see elk but heard them bugling nearby every night! Our family would happily stay again on our next trip to Estes Park - thanks for sharing your lovely cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little cabin. It had everything we needed during our extended weekend in Estes Park. The location was more than perfect. We had a bull elk come right down the mountain behind us the first night we stayed. We had several deer right in the yard one evening along with a large group of elk right below the cabin.
My only recommendation for the property is the addition of a fire pit on the patio area. We enjoyed sitting out in the evening but it chilly quick. And if you're over 6" talk the shower will be difficult for you to fit in. All the ceilings are a bit low.
We will definitely check the availability of this great place on our next trip!

Great experience and great location. Lots of fun in the area with me and my 4 year old.

Loved our stay.

Prime location near the park and close to grocery, food, gas. We saw deer mutiple times while on the street the cabin is on. It has a nice little covered area to sit outside. The inside is small and rustic, but just as advertised and we didnt neef anything more than that. We teally enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful time staying there! The property was fairly easy to get to and we had a ton of fun.

We had a great experience. Cozy cabin was perfect for the 2 of us. Great location with easy access to the park and shopping. Stanley Hotel tour is a must!!

It was fantastic! The cabin is a very short drive to the center of Estes Park. The cabin is small and cozy. Everything you need is provided! The kids really enjoyed our stay.

We (3 adults and 3 kids) just finished 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay! We were in Rocky Mountain National Park each day, and I loved that I didn’t have to drive through traffic in town each day to get into the park. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking dinner, sleeping and playing a few games in the evening. Communication with the owners was prompt and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for opening your property to my family!

This was the perfect place for us to bring our 11 yo grandson to experience Colorado! Clean, comfortable, and so convenient to the park and Estes Park. It was very well-appointed, and the gazebo was a great place to watch the sunrise. We’d definitely recommend it.

This little cabin was so close to the park. The beds were comfortable. Super easy check in and out. Everything you need for a great trip! We will definitely come back.

Loved our stay at the cozy cabin. it is definitely
cozy, but has all the amenities we needed. We had planned on bringing all 4 of our children, but last minute 3 of them decided to not come (camps, other trips, etc)- we might have been more on top of each other had we all come, however we could've managed. The communication with the manager was excellent and the pricing to have our own little space was worth every penny. The outdoor table and chairs outside with a wonderful view was a nice bonus. We would definitely book again. We came for vacation races and hiking and Rocky Mountain National Park and this cabin was in just the right proximity to all of it!
4.7
Cute, cozy cabin.
We rented for our stay for a horse show. We basically just slept there but it was great for our purposes. Super cute and cozy. Everything we needed. Clean. Loved the outdoor gazebo for dinners.
4.7
Perfect for our trip to the Rockies!
The Cozy Cabin was a perfit fit for our family of 5. It had all the essentials plus some extras and it was so close to the Rockies and downtown Estes. We would definitely stay here again. Our kids are 9, 8 and 5.

Owner reminded us the day before the entry tickets for RMNP opened up so we could reserve timed entry. Owner responded quickly for issues we had with the wifi router and it worked after reseting it. In our experience the Google directions lined up with the step by step driving directions given to us by the owner. However, the descriptions provided on landmarks was quote helpful. Beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets provided. Living room area is cramped when the table leaves are fully opened, but we managed fine. Floor is appropriately creaky to make nice Halloween noises. You won't sneak up on anyone, but it kinda adds to the charm. We forgot there was no oven in the cabin, but managed dinners without just fine. Owner shared with us video from a neighbors ring camera that on our last night 2 bears sauntered right by the cabin. We saw several deer/ elk. Lower those window shades in the summer when you leave for the day so the cabin won't heat up too much.

Cozy cabin conveniently located near Rocky Mountain National Park
We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin near Rocky Mountain National Park. The location was very convenient for accessing the park. It was affordable and well equipped. Ruth had books and games for kids, and a resource binder with a plethora of local information. She was great to communicate with. We would definitely recommend Ruth's house.

Great Location with a Beautiful Home
This house is the perfect location; close to hiking, biking, shopping, etc. It was a great size for my husband, two dogs, and I. The kitchen had all the amenities which can be hard to find! We would stay again

We enjoyed our stay here and loved seeing elk right outside the first day we got there! It is small/cozy but was perfect for my partner and I. Very short drive to RMNP and downtown Estes Park.
