Experience life on the gorgeous 11-mile lagoon in a private home with a contemporary take on an arts-and-crafts-inspired, low-country style. With beautiful lagoon views from the house, deck and private backyard pool, direct lagoon access from the dock, and hand-built Amish furniture, come enjoy simple low-country lagoon living at Number Twelve.
Nestled in beautiful Palmetto Dunes, Number Twelve is a totally remodeled home with garage access on 3/4 acre with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths that sleeps and accommodates 12 with plenty of room for the whole group to gather. Sleep in one of the three California-King bedrooms, the bunk room with additional Queen, or in the family room on the Queen-sized wall bed.
Inside the house, hang out in the vaulted family room playing games at the game table or trying your skill at foosball overlooking the pool and deck or even enjoy a workout on the Peloton bike. Enjoy views of the lagoon from the open-concept living areas; chat with the cook from the adjoining Carolina room; create a buffet on the kitchen's ample quartz island; or gather together to sit comfortably at the dining table built for twelve. When you need a break, escape to one of the reading nooks by a window or one of the bedrooms for a restful sleep in one of our large, comfortable beds.
Outside in the backyard, relax in the sun on the back deck or tanning/splash area, exercise against the BaduJet current, or escape the heat in the private pool. Experience the sea breeze from the yard and enjoy jumping fish, pelicans, egrets, herons from the private lagoon dock bench. Catch a glimpse of a deer passing through the backyard. Play games in the spacious yard, savor a meal on the outdoor farmstyle table and benches, or just relax in the hot-tub before heading back inside. The deck off the house has a cable railing that blends into the lagoon views, and includes a locking gate that keeps toddlers from wandering down the steps to the pool. This was our second time staying at this home and both have been great, we will likely be back again! The owners are so attentive and responsive, I had complete comfort in knowing they would remedy any issue we had! They even let us check-in an hour early, which was so nice. The home is beautiful, perfect floor plan for up to 3 families, and very well stocked. The location is fantastic with just a short walk to the beach! Highlight for us was definitely the pool, it is a very large resort style pool with 3 different swimming experiences ... our kids were in heaven! The garage is fully stocked with beach supplies and a fantastic beach wagon for hauling your gear ... overall our stay was great (again!) and I would definitely recommend. This is a luxurious, yet family friendly home. We loved it! Thank you.

Family of 5 & their spouses (total of 8) stayed in this wonderful home for April vacation. Each couple had their own sleeping arrangements and bathroom which was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool/hot tub, and coffee on the lagoon was lovely in the morning. This house has everything you could possibly need. You can’t beat the 7 minute walk to the beach and the local neighborhoods are the perfect place to take a leisurely bike ride. The home was clean and the hosts were attentive. We will definitely be back!

I can’t imagine a more perfect vacation home. It is somehow very upscale and still perfectly kid friendly. Every detail is thought of and provided for. I’ve never been so comfortable away from home.

Susan and Dale were great hosts and we are so appreciative they opened their beautiful home and property to our family. The house is beautifully decorated and the layout was perfect for our family. The pool and dock area was a favorite spot to hangout. We would highly recommend renting this property!

We had a wonderful stay with family. The location is great with easy access to the beach, biking trails, and lagoon for kayaking. The house is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything one could need including a Peloton, Foosball table and multiple family games and books. The owners are very accommodating and responsive.

This is our second stay at this property, the first was our son’s wedding 2 years ago and this time we welcomed home our son from deployment with a much needed family vacation. We added a granddaughter on this trip which was so much fun! Thank you so much to the property owners who were so accommodating and always there when we needed them.

This house was a wonderful retreat for our family vacation. It is even better than described/pictured. We used the pool/ yard and lagoon areas every day. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. Everyone loved having their own bedroom and full bath in each bedroom.

This home is spectacular and would definitely stay again. The owners were very nice and took immediate care of any questions we had at the beginning of our stay. Location was so nice, from being right on a gorgeous part of the lagoon, to within a short walk to the beach. Pool was really cool and all the amenities ( kayaks, bikes etc) made this home a great choice for our Palmetto Dunes vacation..!!!!

From the start of our inquiry to booking and our stay both Susan and Dale were great communicators and ensured we had a perfect experience in their oasis of a home. The interior is breathtaking, but the excitement begins out back.
The backyard provides complete privacy and a multi level pool provided excitement for all family members.

Twelve Sea Lane is fabulous. Susan and Dale provide a home that is equipped with every conceivable amenity and they are extremely attentive to all communitcations. The floor plan works well with extended families, the pool is wonderful and the location in Palmetto Dunes and closeness to the beach is excellent.
One family in our group has stayed at two other properties in Palmetto Dunes and to quote them “hands down this is the best”.
Future visits to Hilton Head hope to be spent at Twelve Sea Lane..

Best place we have stayed
The owners thought of everything we might need. The house was great and we enjoyed the kayaks and the beach chairs. Perfect for our group of 11. They were great at responding to all questions immediately. I hope to stay here again.

Susan’s and Dale’s house was so clean and well appointed. Susan and Dale were clear and thorough in their communication prior to arrival and were very responsive to questions we had during our stay. The house was comfortable for all of my family members ranging from ages 10 to 78. We especially enjoyed sitting by the fire pit each evening and listening to the sounds of nature all around. We will be back!

Second trip to Number Twelve!
We can’t say enough good things about this house and property. This was our second stay in the house and it was every bit as good as the first. The home is all one level but still spread out so every room has privacy. The kitchen is well stocked - we ate in every night except for one! The pool is the best though, and was a blessing on rainy days where our kids couldn’t go to the beach but we’re happy swimming in the backyard. Can’t wait to go back again!

perfect vacation
This house was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed, from pool toys, beach chairs, plenty of room in the house to every kitchen item you may need. The bedrooms were big with awesome showers in each room. Plenty of toys for the kids to play with when not swimming in the pool. Beautiful scenery, it was just a great place for our family.

A great house for active families
The house was just as advertised, and then some. Really comfortable bedrooms, a very well equipped kitchen and a beautiful backyard with access to a lagoon. We used the kyacks, bikes and hot tub and thoroughly enjoyed all the other golf, tennis and pickle ball facilities. A great vacation!

The home and its furnishings are even nicer than pictured and the amenities were an unexpected bonus. The owner supplied 12 beach towels, more beach chairs than needed, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, kayaks, fishing rods and 2 bikes. We enjoyed the hot tubs and the grandchildren enjoyed the pool. The owner even provided a bottle of wine to celebrate the beginning of our vacation and a bottle of grape drink for the grandchildren. We highly recommend this property.

The house and location were great. The host was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The pool was amazing. The house was very accommodating for our toddler with the shallow area of the pool, the children’s room, high chair, and various toys.
