Awesome unit, awesome complex. Host communication could have been better - didn’t receive any response for the hosts when I contacted them about some small issues (during or past stay). Despite that small issue I would stay there again and would highly recommend to others

We had a great time. The property was perfect for our needs and had nice amenities for us to grocery shop and cook a majority of our meals. Very nice community and loved being able to walk to the beach and a short drive to town.

The newly remodeled kitchen is well stocked and gorgeous, aesthetically great and functional lighting in kitchen and living room/dining table as well. Bath in primary bedroom is a bit cramped, but some extra space on the dresser helped. The patio door from the primary bedroom doesn’t open and doesn’t help with light as it’s right on the parking lot sidewalk so people walk by and cars pull in and out, so best to keep the blinds closed most of the time. Overall really enjoyed our stay and perfect for we two!

We enjoyed the large grassy area outside the unit. The unit was clean and the sleeping arrangement worked well for our kids as well.

We are so happy that we stayed at this location. We enjoyed every 9 days of our stay. The condo is beautiful and we enjoyed the property (grass, bbq, pools, putting greens, tennis courts, beach, ......). The location is perfect as well.

I would highly recommend staying here. Great location . Complex has great pool , hot tub , putting green, tennis courts and more. Unit is very clean and nice. Very convinient location. Close to parking , BBQ and pool. Owner responds promptly. Hopefully we will come back one day

All we needed was provided for such as towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, paper towels, dish liquids, laundry detergent, & softeners basic things to get to started on your trip so you don’t need to buy right away. Love the location close to everything. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Maui Sunset. The condo was perfect for our family. We have two teenage boys and we were all very comfortable. The condo had everything we needed for our trip. The condo complex was awesome. There was lots to do including the pool, bocci ball, shuffleboard, and the putting green. The bbqs were right off the lanai which made cooking very convenient. I'd recommend this condo to anyone. In fact, I already have! Mahalo Jackie and Ryan!

I loved parking in front of the door and having the grills 10 feet from our back lanai. There is a pull down bed so 4 people can sleep there. This condo is well stocked, both with everyday items such as toliet paper, kleenex and trash bags as well as beach items like chairs and umbrellas, snorkel mask and beach towels. This is really a complete condo, we loved it!

Had our family of five (3 kids between 7 and 3) and was enough space for us. Ground level was great for the kids to take advantage of walking out of the room and playing in the green space. Little things like having a blender, magic bullet etc. was great to have for smoothies for the kids. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were also wonderful to have. Access to pool, beach, tennis etc was also fantastic. All around a wonderful stay.

Four of my friends and I stayed here for our spring break and had a blast! The property was clean and had full amenities. Having the pool and beach in walking distance made our trip so much fun. We loved staying here, definitely would come back!

There were 5 of us coming from Canada and we were a little worried there might not be enough room for us all, but it worked out great! The sofa bed and Murphy bed were surprisingly comfortable and we had everything we needed! Having a washer and dryer was amazing to wash off all the beach towels everyday. The spot was perfect, 1 minute to the pool and 3 minutes from the beach! We were happily surprised that the place also came with beach chairs, a cooler, and snorkels. The fully stocked kitchen also came in handy because we did a lot of cooking. Staying in Kihei was also wonderful because the town felt more low key than some of the resort areas and there were so many beaches to choose from everyday! Thank you Jackie and Ryan for the wonderful stay.

My family had a great time. The unit is clean and bright. Would’ve given a 5 star but the dishwasher was broken and on the first day there, we had no water for several hours. It wasn’t the end of the world not having a dishwasher, however we could’ve used the time spent washing dishes towards something better. Overall, it was a great stay. Would come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was clean and modern, had a well stocked kitchen, had plenty of consumables such as laundry and dish detergent, a closet full of beach equipment and toys, a big TV with a Roku, etc. Communication about how to access the condo was sent a few days before our arrival and we had no problem accessing the unit when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

This unit is beautifully updated and well equipped My only suggestion would be to stock a small first aid kit and instructions for tv. Oh and the bed in bedroom is a double not a queen. Ac works amazingly Very central location for day trips. We’re looking forward to coming back.

Our condo was very clean and many amenities provided. We were given the wrong access code to start with but that was sorted out with a phone call so all was well. The resort was right next to a park and the beach so the setting was lovely.

I love the Kihei area and love that this property is on the beach. Most places require you to walk across Kihei Rd. The A/C worked great for a window unit! Pool was perfect and a short walk. We loved being able to walk 10 steps to our car in the lot- so convenient. The checkin process was easy as you just enter a code that will only work during your stay (it’s secure). We didn’t have to worry about keys. I never needed to contact the owners during our week there. Would recommend and stay again.

Amazing condo! Modern, stylish, very well equipped, clean. The condo is stocked with everything we needed: beach chair and umbrella, body boards, beach towels and cooler. Great outside area with a big pool and hot tub. Short walk to the beach. The kids loved it and so did we. Jackie was very friendly and always replied quickly. Thanks and mahalo for everything!

Nice floor unit. Convenient parking and easy to unload from car. Beautiful view of the water, great for pictures, but can’t really swim as it’s pretty rocky but there are nearby beaches. We were a family of 4 staying in this unit, but traveling with 12 others who also stayed in 3 other units at this location. It was easy to get together on the lawn and have a bbq. Toiletries, beach towels/chair, and some cooking condiments were provided. Issues encountered: we couldn’t get in after check-in as the code provided didn’t work. It took a little while to get a hold of Jackie and if we didn’t have one of the other units to hang out in, it would have been a nightmare because it was so hot. We eventually had our code reset and was able to get in. It took a while to get the AC working which we needed to wipe down, and the living room ceiling fan did not work (which they left a note about).

Booking was easy and prompt. The room was lovely and very easy to locate and access. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. My kids loved that they were able to have their own beds. The cons: the Wi-Fi network/instructions we were supplied with did not work. The network was not on the list at all. I sent a text message to the manager but did not get a reply for a couple of hours so I called the alternate number provided, but the staff member was not able to help me. An hour or so later I received a text providing me with a different network and instructions for the Wi-Fi. A couple of days later I found the TV remote not working and it appeared to need new batteries. Not finding any in the room, I decided to text and ask about replacements but did not get a response. I texted again the next day and finally heard back. They did not have replacements for me but said I could purchase replacements and be reimbursed. A couple of days later I was surprised to find that someone had come into our room when we were out and replaced the batteries. I was not notified that someone would be coming into the Condo while we were out and felt uncomfortable knowing someone was there without my knowledge. Lastly, before you check out, you will be given instructions to do the laundry, take out the trash and wash the dishes even though you are charged a cleaning fee. I would definitely stay at the Maui Sunset again but was not satisfied with the management.
