'Pepper Tree' is situated on a farm in the beautiful Granite Belt region in Southern Queensland.
This tastefully renovated old farmhouse is an ideal base from which to explore the local wineries, national parks, restaurants, antiques & shops specialising in handmade soaps, chocolates, berries, local cheeses & coffee
'Pepper Tree' is situated on a farm only 5 mins from the renowned Girraween [meaning place of flowers] National Park.
This beautiful national park is well known for it's walking tracks, wildflowers, rock climbing, granite outcrops & water courses.
Girraween is one of the most popular national parks in Queensland.
We are also next door to the award winning Pyramids Road Winery.
And 5mins drive to the popular winery & pizzeria Balancing Heart Winery!
And a little bit further on to the delightful Bald Mountain Winery!
There are 3 separate living areas,

> DVD player with a selection of children's DVDs
> games & book exchange area with table & bench seating
> wood heater [wood provided]

The country style kitchen is
> fully equipped for cooking
> a large dining table & chairs with table mats & napkins,
opening onto a small deck with a separate small table & chairs

> filtered rain water on tap
There are 2 Queen bedrooms [1 with A/C & 1 with ceiling fan]
1 twin & 1 single room both with ceiling fans
All bedrooms have
> quality cotton linen
> bedside tables with separate bedside lamps
> large antique dressing tables with full length mirrors
> both queen bedrooms and the twin bedroom have space to access beds in a wheelchair*

The large front veranda has a family sized barbecue & outdoor dining furniture from which to watch our beautiful sunsets sinking below the distant mountains.
There is also a ramp with rails built to wheelchair accessible specifications and space to park a car at the base of the ramp*

The generously sized, fully fenced garden has

> a pergola garden with fresh herbs beside a small terrace with garden furniture.
We welcome pets on request.
