We liked parts of the garden, and the cottage was spacious

The bathroom needs new silicon. No leaks or anything . purely aesthetic

We spent New Year as a family at the Tree House and absolutely loved it. It is a rare find that we would definitely recommend. So many little touches that added to the experience. The main bedroom is amazing! The tree house is warm, cosy, romantic and everything you need is there. 10/10!

Super clean and comfy place. Loads of technology and had some fun with Alexa. WiFi excellent which is needed as no phone signal around there. Good friendly pubs for a drink and food and a pool table!!
Not much, the coffee machine took some figuring out but got there in the end and that was more us than the machine!!
4.7
The warm, rustic, instant cosy feeling when entering and staying in the house.
The smart Alexa device is fun and really provides the mood for the evening with dimmed lights.
Never used a log fire so it was a bit scary but loved it all the same.
The village is friendly with a great country walk around the corner, other local villages nearby including the coast.
Very minimal and picky - the sugar packets were a bit hard and maybe past due date, I'm not sure.
Me and my now husband asked if anything special could be added as we went for our minimoon (we would of course cover any cost). We were advised there would be but unfortunately nothing was there when we arrived.
There's no longer a gift shop in Gosforth, this was advised in the welcome folder, so it just needs to be updated.
Again, nothing that spoilt our stay!

Clean, well decorated house. Nice garden. My son liked treasure hunt game.
Room for children has a boiler installed. At night it was very unpleasant to sleep with that noise. Main door jammed. We had to use the other door which was hard to carry luggages. Received couple of messages about the door while I was climbing on the mountain which was annoying. Anyway. Nobody came to fix the door. My small trip was ruined (not to mention 7 hour drive to reach this place). It is also far away to lake district. Roads are very twisty we were sick while we left.

property was well equipped for what we needed we loved the staircase and the beams, made it really homely
only thing that let the property down was the child next door, who kept disturbing us and coming into the garden whilst we were eating.

Loved the Tree House absolutely stunning inside. Beautiful garden and perfect for dogs. Great location to explore Keswick, Gosforth and Whitehaven all very close.
The local pubs were closed which was a shame. Outwith control as I think due to Covid. But plenty places in next village.

A Great quiet base to explore your surroundings
It was a pity the local pub was closed due to an outbreak of COVID but that couldn’t be helped and it didn’t affect our stay.

Loved the property, nicely furnished and well equipped.
Only slight issue - The sensors kept putting the lights back on whenever we went upstairs to check on baby. They were a nice touch but the upstairs ones weren’t practical for us.
