This condo is really nice! Very clean and the beds were so comfy, like sleeping on a cloud. The shower is huge with a rainfall showerhead. Nice and well stocked kitchen and living room area.
The heated floors kept the back bedroom nice and toasty. We also liked that the bedrooms are dark which makes sleeping easier with long summer days in Alaska. Plenty of blankets and towels were provided.
The building layout is odd and was a little confusing at first but the directions from the host are very helpful. Check in and parking were easy and it's close to many restaurants. It was very quiet, we barely heard anyone else in the building at all. Would definitely recommend for a family!

Girdwood condo location was perfect. A small town with wonderful friendly people. We flew into Anchorage. The condo was only 45 minutes from airport. Each day we explored a different area within a two hour drive. The restaurants in Girdwood were very good, especially Spoonline and Jack Sprat. The tram ride is a must.

We were in for a Wedding and we were close to the other guests. The meal was at Jack Sprats, just across the parking lot. The unit was well equipped, and worked well for us.

This property is not maintained. All furniture is from a dumpster. They do not belong in the house and not with each other. Washer/dryer is in the common area.

Great location with lots of great amenities.
Separate beds for our sibling grand children and a wonderfully comfortable king bed for us. Dishwasher was a plus.
I only held two days at the condo and ended up changing our itinerary which would keep us in Girdwood for two additional days. Wish I had held the condo for those two additional days.
Kids loved this place as well. Had everything you could need and was just the right size.

Great size for the 4 of us. The 1 bath worked because the sink and counter was separate from shower/toilet. Kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking and coffee/tea pots. The bedrooms nice and dark for sleeping. Beds were comfortable. Good area by radiator to dry our rain soaked socks and shoes. Would rent again for sure! Thank you!

Great stay! Beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of dishes/cooking utensils. My kids fell in love with the playful tram in the bunkbed room I had to drag them away! Easy access coin laundry. Great restaurant next door. Girdwood was stunning. Wish I had more time to explore all the hiking trails and bike trails.

Alyeska Condo - Clean & Comfortable
Condo was as advertised and has all needed for a family getaway. Kids enjoyed the bunk room. Clean and comfortable overall. Although it was a lovely location; we were unaware of a three day festival in the area that had road closures and extreme traffic during the majority of our stay that limited ease of exploring the area. This won’t normally be the case - but did happen to us over the holiday weekend. It would be helpful in the future to maybe mention this festival for guests renting during this time of year.

Lovely location
We had a wonderful stay here! This property is conveniently located near the Hotel Alyeska and the Bird to Gird trail, surrounded by mountains and hiking trails. It includes ski-themed decor, including a miniature tram suspended in the kids' bedroom and all kinds of ski maps on the walls. Although this condo has limited ventilation due to its few windows, the darkness was helpful for sleeping during the Midnight Sun evenings. We also appreciated the TV and wi-fi connection, the extremely comfortable master bedroom, the updated shower and kitchen, and the quietness even during peak tourism season. The property is older, with a game room that was very dusty and minimally maintained, but the beautiful setting can't be beat. The broader Girdwood area is gorgeous and full of activities: we took a sled dog tour, hiked to Virgin Falls, hiked the Winner Creek Trail, and took the aerial tram. One note: due to staffing limitations, many restaurants were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so it's important to plan ahead for food.

This is the perfect family rental in Girdwood! There's plenty of space to spread out, comfortable beds and pitch black bedrooms. It's also a stone's throw from the Bake Shop and Jack Sprat.

Great vintage style condo
The place was all we were expecting in a ski town.
The vintage decor really added to the charm of the condo, plenty of space for the kids to move around on a rainy day.
Being at the base of the mountain was incredible.
Girdwood being a fairly small town, we were able to access the trails and playground within minutes.
Highly recommended and would stay there again!

Our family of five had a great stay! 7 and 8 year olds loved the bunk beds. There was room for our 3 year old in the bottom bunk but he chose to sleep on the blow up toddler bed we brought, and there was lots of space for that. The master bed was very comfortable. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this had the most storage space by far, in all areas (kitchen, bathroom, both bedrooms). The host did a great job anticipating what guests might need, I thought. There were extra blankets next to the couch and in both bedrooms, family games, lots of coat hooks, a shoe/boot mat, and bench for putting on shoes. We loved the coffee maker and hot water kettle, so we could have tea as well. The tv had Netflix and Disney plus, and we enjoyed hanging out as a family for a couple movies. The shower was a huge hit - large, rain style, and rock bottom. Our kids usually prefer baths, but wanted to shower every day here. It was nice having the sink outside of the shower/toilet room so someone could be washing up while someone else was using the restroom. There are a couple things that might be good to keep in mind if you have little kids - not negatives necessarily, just to think about. There are stone steps to get into the living room and also to get into the master bedroom. Our three year old was fine with them but any younger might be tricky. The shower is great but there is no bathtub - this could be hard for young kids. There is not a dining table. There is a counter with stools for eating meals. The stools were not tall enough for our kids to use on the living room dude of the counter, so we moved them into the kitchen. This worked ok but wasn't ideal. There's no lip on the kitchen side, so their legs don't tuck under the counter and the stools block the cabinets. My husband and I stood to eat. None of this mattered to us and it worked out fine, but I can see how it could be a problem for others. Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful stay and we would definitely stay again if in the area!!! Thanks so much Chris!!
