Situated right on the esplanade with uninterrupted views of the sea. This recently refurbished cottage is perfect for short or long term holidays.

Don’t be surprised if you spot a dolphin just a few metres away from your holiday accommodation. Your perfect view of the sunset will be simply stunning at any time of the year.

Your stay here can offer you the priceless enjoyment of the constant sound of the sea and fresh air, yet ensure that you are within easy reach of all that the City of Adelaide has to offer. The City, Festival Theatre, Casino and Convention Center are all a short 15 minute drive, or an easy 30 minute trip with the Glenelg Tram. Please be mindful that the airport is nearby - 7 km away - so you will see and hear planes coming in. Some people love this, others not so much.

The cottage is a quick beachfront walk to the sophisticated Holdfast Shores Marina and its award winning restaurants. Another few minutes and you are on historic Jetty Road, where the eating, shopping and entertainment facilities are endless. Just Google “Glenelg Beach” to see all that this destination has to offer, including a myriad of sport and beach activities. Your stay may not require a single car trip, as local attractions such as the “Temptation” swim with the dolphins, the BeachHouse amusement park & the brand new $1.3m foreshore playground are all within walking distance.

This cottage offers you a stretch of lawn at the front of your very own place. Your rear portico will store outdoor chairs and a small picnic table, where you can enjoy your wine, coffee or meal. Alternatively, throw down a picnic rug on your own lawn and just stare out at the sea, sunset and the numerous walkers who are seeking to enjoy that which you will have at your very own doorstep.

The cottage combines a clean, crisp, modern feel with the cosiness of an old cottage. The place has been fitted so that you can have a comfortable short or long term stay. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, your own laundry facilities, TV and DVD entertainment, linen and towelling – just pack your toothbrush and bathers!!.

The kitchen will easily cater to those who want affordable home cooked meals; that is, if they can resist the temptation to just walk into one of the cafes or restaurants down the road.

When you first get there, enjoy a coffee on us - just pop a coffee capsule in the machine.

The property has a queen bed in the master bedroom.
A Queen bed in the second bedroom.
Both bedrooms fitted with chirorest mattresses to ensure a comfortable holiday stay.
The living area contains a couch, which can be converted into a double mattress for sleeping an extra 2 if required.

Please note that although this apartment can sleep up to 6, it is really most comfortable for 4.

Picture perfect views of the beach and magical sunsets set the scene for a fabulous relaxing family holiday. Great location with an easy walk to Glenelg. Sophie was so responsive and caring. She left so many extra touches and went above & beyond with luxury indulgences. Thoroughly recommended- we will be back!

The host really went above and beyond to make sure the property was fully furnished and suplied with pretty much everything we needed for our stay, from the kitchen right to the bathroom. Our kids loved walking across the road to the beach everyday and watching the sunset from our living room window, the location is great...

If you are reading reviews to pick a place - pick this one! A gorgeous cottage with lots of welcoming amenities that Sofie set up for us, with the beach right there and a gorgeous walk we would do each day. Easy to get into the city and plenty of parking. We also left a bag behind and Sofie was very flexible to allow us to pick it up again when convenient the next day. She'd be a great host under any circumstances that arise on a holiday

Lovely position overlooking the water and sunsets. Comfortable walking distance to restaurants, shopping and tram. Lots of lovely, welcoming extras included in the unit. A very comfortable bed and pillows. Sofie very attentive, ensuring all went well when an issue with the TV aerial required repair. We really enjoyed our week here.

Well no internet or service so hubby left me Not enough hot water to have a decent bath I am so devastated at the cost to not be able to watch tv or have a bath still crying over it all having my hubby leave me over wasting money

A fantastic little beach pad. Very comfortable with all the little 'extras' provided including wine, chocolates, tim tams and more. Directly across the road from the beach and only a short, pleasant walk into Glenelg shops and cafes. We loved our stay here and hope to come again.

Visiting from Canada 🇨🇦 While staying with our son and family in Adelaide we wanted to take our grandsons on a mini school break getaway. We found this perfect little cottage in a great location for all the activities we had planned. Beautiful sunsets and walks on the beach and more. We really enjoyed our stay, short stroll to Glenelg for breakfast/dinner or lunch. Watching the ocean in all it's moods was spectacular safely behind the window. Sofie really provided a comfortable place to stay with all the little added extras of snacks and wine. Thank you.

Apart from the proximity to the airport it was ideal for what we were planning to do. There were some lovely added extras which were appreciated. A few more mugs would be good and a touch up of some painting (windowsill), I especially loved being able to walk on the beach after a miserable winter.

The property was advertised as 2 bedroom but 2 days prior to arrival, the property manager advised if we wanted to use the main bedroom it was an extra $20 for linen. The shower head has a mind of its own. From Bedroom 2 the activities in the bathroom of unit 1 can be clearly heard due to paper thin walls. TV reception - lack of reception and only free to air available. Unit is not 5 minutes walk from Jetty road as advertised. Lovely welcoming gifts. Lack of appropriate heating or cooling in the bedrooms - ie only 1 air conditioner in the living area.

This property is in an excellent location opposite one of the nicest beaches in Adelaide. Although the exterior is dated the interior is modern and clean. The unit was extremely well provisioned in both the kitchen and bathroom. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and extensive nibbles. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.
