About this house rental
You will love this new 4,000 square foot custom built vacation home, which sits on one acre lake view lot with forest park land all around it. The views are from all sides of the house and are truly breathtaking. The house is just around the corner from the Nevada side of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort and just 5 minutes up the hill from the exciting South Lake Tahoe casinos. A Fine dining restaurant ' The Chart House is also closely located half way down the hill before the casinos for that special dining occasion or just plain casual relaxation. This home has it all! A large living room is open to a gourmet kitchen. This large entertainment area also have a pool table, a large wood burning fireplace, , and an entertainment center complete with digital cable, surround sound, and a DVD player. The house is also equipped with wireless broadband Internet access. You will truly enjoy the over-sized wrap-around decks off the main entertainment area and master bedroom which both have lake views.

This house is simply beautiful.. the views are breathtaking to say the least. There were 11 of us with plenty of room... note there are quite a bit if stairs ..if your decently in shape there are no issues! The house was clean and very comfy. Note there is a new sectional that was soooo comfy we absolutely loved it. If you are planning to cook the kitchen is well equipped.

We had an annual family gathering of 20, aged 9 to 80. 14 slept at Perfect Getaway,6 slept at another nearby VRBO. But we spent our time at Perfect. Wonderful views of the Lake. We had a blast! Lots of family bonding. 7 nice bedrooms with a comfortable bed for all. You spend most of your time in the common area on the top floor. A well-equipped kitchen where we prepared meals for up to 20. A comfortable living area where we watched a lot of Olympics and played family games. And, best of all, a pool table which was in constant use. The only drawback to Perfect Getaway is that it has 4 stories and lots and lots of stairs. You may need to get into shape to stay there! The only way to improve Perfect would be to add an elevator!

This is a great VRBO. There is tons of space for our family of 5-7 adults and 2 kids. The top floor was the gathering spot either around the kitchen table, the couch or the wraparound porch, all of which offer views either of the lake or the mountains. The house is high up enough to offer outstanding views but close enough to the attractions of South Lake Tahoe that it doesn't take forever to get there.
The bedrooms were plentiful including a unique suite on the ground floor that came in very handy.
For those who care about such things, the TV in the living room had subscriptions to both Youtube TV and Hulu, a touch that was very much appreciated. Great WIFI too!
The kitchen had everything you need to cook (and we did) as well as an outdoor grill, lots of dishes and glasses, a double oven(!) and of course, the fridge, microwave and toaster oven.
If you like hiking, the house is within a 10 minute walk of a handful of trails including Castle Rock and the Kingsbury North section of the TRT.
The house itself was very clean and it was obvious that the host cares about the overall experience for their guests.
We had to walk about 50 feet down the block to get the magical experience of the sunset over Lake Tahoe. That would just depend on the time of year.
There are all kinds of touches you don't see from VRBO descriptions. If you have to a bit of work while you're there, there is an office on the top floor with a desk all ready to go. All in all a great experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful mountain home! It is off the beaten path (although easily accessible) with beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains and the lake. The home itself is spacious and fully appointed. Our family and friends skied daily from the Stagecoach Lodge lift area, which is just over a mile from the home. I would highly recommend this lovely home to those desiring beautiful views, great skiing and a lovely environment in which to relax!

We have been doing this annual trip for many years and this trip was far and above the best that we have had so far. There were several reasons for that, but mainly it was the great snow and a fantastic house.
With a group of 14 we never had the feeling that we were all on top of each other. having the variety of bedrooms and sleeping areas was perfect. The house was fantastic for a group this size. The kitchen was great and allowed for several people to be preparing food while still being involved with everything going on in the huge living space.
The hottub and the pool table were huge hits.
The access to the ski resort was super easy and we only had one day were parking at the resort was a issue.
We had several days of new snow and Monte actually had a crew come out and shovel off the decks and driveway. That was great.

The house was great, as advertised. Secluded, but very convenient location. A few minute drive to the Heavenly Nevada lifts and just up the road from South Lake Tahoe downtown. Fit a group of 10 easily.

This house is less than a mile from 2 lifts at Heavenly. There were 9 of us staying and it fit us perfectly! Monte was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We booked this beautiful home to celebrate Christmas & my daughter's family coming home from being stationed (Army family) in So Korea for 2 years!
First it was immaculate & had everything we needed- well stocked kitchen, safety gates for my 1 yr old grandchild, fireplace & hot tub. The house is laid out in a way where we never felt like we were on top of each other & we all had our own space! And the views... couldn't begin to describe how stunning this area is! We were also very close to the center of town and Heavenly ski resort.

I love the location of this home. It is close to everything but, in a quit nicer neighborhood. The lake views are nice too.
The owner does an outstanding job communicating. The house is clean and well stocked with everything you need.
I would encourage anyone who rents this home in the winter to have a 4WD vehicle. The roads are well plowed, but there are a couple of steeper sections (nothing too crazy).

My family loved our stay here! We usually go to Colorado for our annual snowboard trip, so we have seen and experienced lots of other kinds of cabins in the past. This was by far one of the most accommodating and thoughtful hosts we’ve had. Lots of towels, toiletries stocked in each bathroom, wood for fireplace, jacuzzi already warm and ready, easy to follow check in/out instructions posted around the house, REAL Christmas tree with decorations, board games, kitchen essentials, great surround sound speakers, the list goes on. My family of 14 was extremely comfortable here. We will definitely return if we snowboard Heavenly again. This cabin was only 10-15mins from heavenly, such a great location! Thank you so much for offering your home and being great hosts!

We stayed here for convenience to the venue next door, Tahoe Blue. Perfect location for attending my son’s wedding being held there. We had a group of family and friends stay and it all was perfect. The views are spectacular. The owner was very prompt in answering questions.

This property lived up to the listing description and was very comfortable for our multigenerational family vacation. There was ample space for everyone to have their own room and space for us to gather as a family. The kitchen/great room was the gathering hub. A few notes in case they are helpful for others:
1. The kitchen & great room are on the top floor which can make loading in supplies a bit laborious, but on the plus side, you get a good workout.
2. There is an extra fridge in the garage on the ground floor which we found helpful so we didn't have to run all the way to the top floor when we needed something at night (drinks, etc.)
3. The drive into town takes about 10 minutes from the house
4. The house was extremely well appointed; I don't think there was anything we could've needed that wasn't there.
We would stay again if we were back in the area.

We had an amazing stay and were blown away by the views. The house itself was a perfect floor plan for our extended family across all floors. It is comfortable well equipped and conveniently located to get around south lake. We hope to be back!

Was as promised -- had a great time; Monte was easy to work with -- a snaffu w/ our car rental company caused some distress with our two youngest but Monte was able to get us into the house a couple of hours early which was a huge help.
Give it 5 stars all around.

Our family enjoyed a week at this home at the end of June. The home was gorgeous with fabulous lake and pines/boulder views all the way around. Monte was so easy to work with and answered any questions quickly. He also had a management team at the ready for any help necessary. The home is well stocked with everything you need to cook and enjoy a gourmet meal. Our family had everyone from my 78 yo parents to my 15 month old twin granddaughters and all ages in between. Everyone enjoyed the home and our time in Tahoe. I highly recommend this home! I know we will be back!

This house has it all. Location is perfect for accessing Boulder or Stagecoach. Gorgeous lake views. Living space is perfect for large groups. The pool table and the hot tub were absolute hits. Monte was very responsive and was able to answer any questions that we had. Looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed here to go skiing at Heavenly and it was the perfect house for our group. Plenty of space for everyone, amazing kitchen to cook in, and gorgeous view of the lake. It's close to the Nevada side lifts for skiing and you can even walk to the local restaurant Fox & Hound. Communication with the host was easy and he continued to check in as a snow storm hit while we were there. Would definitely recommend this property!

The property was beautiful and the property manger responded to every request or problem along the way. We came in immediately following a storm and he made sure to get the property dug out of the snow to ensure use of the deck and hot tub. The house had everything we needed for our 14 person stay with 8 of the guest ranging from 1-12.

The location is so peaceful. All the best amenities are included to enjoy the property. We loved the boat, Nintendo, hammocks etc. Hosts are very accommodating and easy to communicate with. They made sure we felt welcomed and were available if needed.

This home is beautiful! From the moment you arrive you will be captured with the stunning views, peacefulness and beauty. Every room is spacious and well laid out, the master bedroom has a beautiful fireplace and large soaking tub, and a private deck where you can grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the lake view.. this room has beautiful touches and the suite on the ground level is it’s own private hideaway. Linens are quality, kitchen is well equipped and the hot tub is large, relaxing and private. A must stay! Thank you Monte, your home is absolutely beautiful, we loved our stay!

We were a group of 13 celebrating a 30th birthday. It was mostly everyone’s first time in the snow, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The home was clean and exactly as listed. Monte was great and a fast communicator. I highly recommend this space. The floor plan is perfect for large groups, and the casinos are about 10 minutes away. Great location! The boulder lodge is walking distance from the house as well if you’re a newbie skier or snowboarder! Overall, everything was great!

We had an amazing time with family for Christmas 2022. The house was beautiful and the view of Lake Tahoe was absolutely stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were big and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and nice. The stairs in the house provided us all with plenty of exercise and the location was close to everything we needed to enjoy the holidays. Overall an amazing experience!

The property was just perfect for our growing family of children and grandchildren allowing each of our kids to just about have a floor to themselves with their kids in the rooms directly next to them plus a private bathroom!!! The kitchen is extremely well equipped - best we have found in any of our prior rentals. This property is beautiful and the setting is breath taking! You will NOT be disappointed!!!

Beautiful house with stunning views of Lake Tahoe and mountain side. We lit the fireplace every night of our stay and made s'mores. Fun family getaway. Kids loved the proximity to Heavenly for snowboarding. There are alot of stairs in the house and you'll get your daily workout. Mahalo to Maria and Monte for your gracious hospitality.
