Townhome was a good size. It fit all 8 of us nicely. Floors could stand to be cleaned a bit better as our socks were really dirty after just a couple of hours each day. It took a bit to get the TV up and running as things were unplugged and the batteries in the remote were dead. The neighbor had parked at the end of the driveway for some reason while my spouse was still there. They did move it hours later when she realized she was still there (vehicle was in the garage).

Beautiful home. Everything was EXACTLY as pictured and promised. Frequent communication FROM property manager leading up to, during and after our stay made everything seamless. Will definitely consider this property again.

Our daughter was getting married nearby. We needed a house that could hold 10 extended family as we came and went from the pre-post wedding activities. This house was a perfect house providing privacy for our family. The property managers were excellent communicators. We had no issues. We tried to be respectful to the neighbors who share a driveway. We had a lot of vehicles and a trailer. The garage fit our trailer perfectly. We were able to park the other vehicles over to the right to provide room for the neighbors to enter and exit. The two fireplaces were well used during our stay. The large kitchen and dining area were spacious. We will reserve again when in the area.

The unit was almost perfect for our group of 9 including 7 adults and 2 children ages 10 and 12. We skied 4 different resorts over our 6 night stay. The kitchen was well stocked with more than anyone would need and the dining table easily accommodated our group. We would definitely come back to this place which is close enough to everything in Silverthorne.

Everything our family of 5 needed. This property can accommodate more than our family, but it was extremely nice. Location worked great for us as well. We appreciated this property for so many reasons.

Insufficient baby gates
When we arrived at the rental, the built in baby gates that were pictured in the listing were not present. There was one available plastic dog gate in the closet for the two stair wells on the main floor. Not only was the one insufficient but it was a huge pain to use, definitely not convenient for entering and exiting while holding a child. The property managers did bring over additional baby gates but they were tension style and again, difficult to operate and not at all convenient or particularly safe, as one of them was actually broken. If the baby gates that were shown in the pictures were present, this house would have gotten five star reviews across the board… however, the gates and cribs were the reason we chose this property in the first place. Also worth noting that the cribs are in rooms that do not black out, so if your child is used to sleeping in darkness, bring your pack and play and put it in the master closet.

Beautiful property, great location. Easy for Breck, Copper, Keystone. Lots of food options close by. Lots of amenities, more than enough room for 10. Will stay again.

Lovely mountain getaway with family visiting
We loved our weekend at this beautiful, spacious and comfortable home. Just about anything we needed from kitchen tools for our chef uncle, baby gates for stairs, tons of toys for our 4-year old and lots of towels, linens, and blankets. Host promptly addressed our few questions and needs, and was available to us. A few minor issues: propane tank was empty so our first dinner was hours late. We didn't realize this home is half of a duplex with the back deck being very close to the neighbors so not as private as we anticipated. Windows and sliding door could use screens. A few household items needing repair/replacement but nothing major (deck umbrella does not tilt, one baby gate was a bit finicky/loose, etc).

Wonderful property. Excellent location.
Overall great experience.

Pretty Great Place!
This was one of the best stocked houses we’ve ever rented. Also the internet worked great and the outdoor deck was clutch. It is a duplex, but you’d never know it. Very spacious and quiet.

We had a great time. The house is in wonderful condition and the property managers were very attentive. Tastefully decorated. There were lots of nice touches like free individual boxes of laundry detergent. The gas fireplace was beautiful and warm. Most of all, the ceiling was very high in the main living/dining area, which made the place feel palatial. Two notes: First, this is a duplex, which is a bit hard to tell from the picture unless you're looking for it. However, we never noticed our neighbors.Second, the property managers asked me to sign a contract after I had already booked on VRBO (charging my credit card) even though this condition wasn't in the description. However, I brought this up to them, and they were very professional and agreed I didn't need to sign the contract. I don't know if they have re-written the listing to mention the contract. Also, keep in mind that the main living area and one of the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, and another bedroom is on the 3rd floor. You end up doing a fair amount of climbing if you're moving around a lot during the day.Would definitely stay again.

Lots of room
The house was very well equipped with all the things you need. The kitchen had lots of dishes and cooking utensils. The bedrooms accommodated our family well. The only suggestion would be a hot tub. After a long day of skiing or snowboarding it comes in handy.

Great
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. When we got there it was very cold and we didn't know the floors would heat up. The only problem we encountered was that the neighbor went over while we were outside playing in the snow slidding down the parking lot and were rude saying they were recording us in case there was any accidents. This was very unnecessary. Nice duplex and good for 10 people!!

Silverthorne perfection
The property was amazing, and perfect for our family!! The added protection of optional baby gates and other accessories really made it perfect. We even saw a deer in the back yard!

Nice vacation duplex.
Home was very well kept with modern amenities. Kitchen and dining areas well designed. Bedrooms and bathrooms as pictured. The 2 bedrooms upstairs give decent viewing of some of the surrounding mountains. The deck is a nice gathering place. Overall cleanliness was excellent. We did donate a travel cooler to the unit as we couldn't find one nor did we pack as we should of! Lighting is LED lighting which was,a little dimmer than normal but sufficient. Deck lighting had one of the two lights out but still sufficient for grilling usage . Overall excellent home in an upscale neighborhood. There were no occupants in the adjoining unit so privacy wasn't an issue.

Great home in a great neighborhood!
The home was clean and spacious. It was well equipped in the kitchen and had plenty of games and toys to keep us busy. Definitely worth the stay. The microwave and the wine fridge are a bit noisy but otherwise, the home was very enjoyable with a small lake for fishing down the road, retail stores nearby and some great little restaurants for breakfast or dinner.

our eagles nest home vacation. was wonderful, the house was spectacular and great location.
Again great home. Few things to improve.
- first level toilet was broken
- no hot water, need to turn the water heater on....add to the instructions
- the driveway need to be cleaned of ice before guests arrival
- should provide a bag of salt for the entrance
- add a warning label to the chimney glass...very hot surface long after the fire is off
- house is noisy. ..adding fabric onto the windows may improve the acoustic
- surprised me that it was a townhouse and that we had to share the driveway
Overall a very clean house and we were vary happy...thanks.

House was nice. I would not have rented it if I knew in advance that it was a duplex.
Pulling in the driveway I was surprised to find out that I had rented half of a duplex. The counter in the kitchen was large and has room to seat six to eight people. There were only three stools three of which were broken and were removed the first day we were there. The kitchen table only had seating for 8 so we had two more people than we had seats for. The microwave was the loudest thing I have ever heard in a kitchen. Beds were nice and the house was clean.

Great place would rent again
Had no idea what we were getting when I rented this property. Showed up and was very satisfied. Had everything we needed and there were get instructions though out the house to help us figure everything out. Owner was very responsive when I booked the place and answered any questions right away. This is a great place and would rent it again.

Perfect for multi-generational family stay
We spent Thanksgiving week in this beautiful home with our grown children and two young granddaughters. My son's family stayed in the first floor bedrooms which served as a perfect enclave for them; secluded enough that the girls were not disturbed during naps or after they went to bed. Our 27-year-old daughter used the 3rd floor ensuite room which worked out nicely for her. The master suite was spacious with a nice bathroom. As others have noted the home has several toddler gates to help keep little ones off the stairs and is nicely equipped overall with comfortable beds. Some minor issues with interior door latches in the master suite; entry door latch would not fully deploy to close unless the lever was pulled up a few times, and the closet door latch was stuck open - I forgot to report these to the property manager. We thoroughly enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and taking in the views. I did not realize this was part of a duplex property (right unit). Each side has a two-car garage and there is what appears to be a two-car side spot in front of the left unit. It was not an issue for us because the other unit was unoccupied, but if both units are occupied parking could be an issue if either unit has more than 3 vehicles. Overall we had an excellent stay and I would recommend it for any season of the year.

Well-equipped beautiful home with amazing views
My family (two adults, a three year old, and an 18 month old) stayed at this home with another family (two adults, an eight year old and a ten year old) that was visiting from out-of-state. This house was decorated beautifully and furnished with EVERYTHING we needed. The layout of this home was perfect for us! We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. We also loved how there was a toddler bed and a crib spread out on different levels of the house so our young children could nap without interruption. The kitchen was well stocked, and our children LOVED all the toys that were available to play with. There was a great park just down the hill that also provided lots of entertainment. The location of the house was very ideal. We were close (5-10 minute drive) to stores, restaurants, and the outlet mall. We also loved all the nature that surrounded this beautiful home. We saw multiple deer just looking outside the windows.

Great getaway
Always a great place to stay with family for an affordable getaway to the mountains. Only complaint was that the wine fridge was not working and there was moldy salsa that was left in the refrigerator. Other than that there were no issues.

Beautiful and relaxing
The Eagles Nest House was amazing! It was a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. It was clean and inviting. It was also kid friendly as there was a crib, toddler bed, and even toys for the little ones. We were in Silverthorne for my daugther's wedding and needed a place for our family to be able to spread out while staying. We had 5 grandchildren from the age of 6 months to 7 years, which included our 3 year old grandson who has some disablilities. We felt we were at home and there wasn't anything that we lacked. Thank you to the owners of this beautiful home. We would highly recommend The Eagles Nest House. We had many good restaurants and everything was close. The families were able to have some fun family time. We enjoyed the Breckenridge Adventure Park and many unique stores and restaurants. We would like to make it a tradition to bring our families back to this area of Colorado every so many years. My husband and I would even come back, just the two of us, to enjoy the relaxation of the area too. Again, thank you to the owners of this beautiful home-we really enjoyed our stay of 5 days and hated to leave. Thank you!

Beautiful home with plenty of room.
The home was spacious and we had beautiful views. It's the perfect location and near several ski resorts. If visiting during the winter I would highly recommend chains for your tires if you don't own a 4WD. We had a difficult time and had to purchase chains. Had a great time and would highly recommend this home.

Colorado Excursion
Our stay at the Eagles Nest House was everything that we could have hoped for. The property was great, clean and very well equipped. We had my two cousins visiting from Australia and it was their first time seeing snow, so it was quite an important trip as they had come a very long way. A special thanks for the added touch of the Christmas tree and the decorations, it made it even more perfect.
I have recommended "home away" many times, I certainly will recommend this property in particular to anyone visiting CO.
Summit Mountain Properties are doing a great job of high standards for the property owners and the lucky renters. An additional thank you to you Diane for suggesting Good Times for our Snowmobiling and Dog Sledding, excellent company and a really "Good Time"!!
I would be happy to give testimonial on the property if it helps y'all.
With thanks to everyone concerned
Merry Christmas
