Situated in Draycott Place, a charming period street in Old Chelsea which is steps away from Sloane Square and the King's Road. Walking distance to shops of Knightsbridge and the museums of South Kensington this apartment is owned by an interior designer.

The apartment features one master bedroom with a UK King/USA Queen bed (5' x 6' 8") with an ensuite bathroom with a tub (but no shower). There is a second bathroom with a full walk-in shower (but no tub). A second smaller guest room can be made up with either one or two single beds -- though it is tight with two beds (more suitable for kids to share). And, in a pinch, one can also sleep a fifth person on the living room sofa, the base of which is an upholstered mattress -- think of it as a day bed.

There is a very small patio at the rear which is suitable for die hard smokers, but there is no smoking inside the apartment. As the apartment is 'Lower Ground' there are steep narrow British stairs leading to the front door, so all guests must be agile!

The apartment has three TVs, Blu Ray & DVD multi region system, cable, wireless internet and a cosy dining nook off the living room, with a skylight overhead.

The nearest underground line is Sloane Square, but you are also within walking distance of South Kensington station. I prefer to take the number 19 or 22 bus to the Piccadilly Circus if I am headed to the West End -- ride on the top of the iconic double decker red London bus and get a birds eye view of all London has to offer.

This was a wonderful apartment central to public transit in a lovely neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very nice. Communication with the host was very open from booking months in advance to checking out. Beyond satisfied with our experience in this Vrbo!

The apartment is well equipped and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed three people and we had plenty of room. The location is fantastic. Easy for transport in London and close to great shops and restaurants. Mike was easy to communicate with and very helpful with local tips.

Amazing location, had everything including washer and dryer, central to grocery shops, and great host! Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here with a family. I had 2 boys and they had single beds set up for them.

This terrific apartment that suited me, a grandmother, traveling from abroad with three teen granddaughters. I had the luxury of my own room and bathroom with a bathtub, while the girls shared the living room sofa bed and the bedroom and the second bathroom with shower. The kitchen is well-appointed and has a door separating it from the sleeping area, which is important when you want to make a pot of coffee or tea when teens are still sleeping nearby. Everything was clean and neat. The apartment manager is extremely helpful and pleasant. He answers inquiries fast, and even recommended a teen-beloved and affordable clothing store on Kings Road. Steps away, Kings Road was once only open to royalty, and is a mix of very high- end fashions, and particularly attractive branch stores, i.e. M &S and Zara. The apartment is a short walk from the Museum of Natural History, a favorite site of ours. It takes 5-7 minutes to walk to Sloane Square underground station from which we reached all tourist sites very quickly. The affable apartment manager was on-site to greet us, and he helped us down the narrow outdoor stairs, the only challenge of the apartment. There are several tv's, a DVD player, bathroom towel heaters. The beds are very comfortable and there's a skylight in the living room over the dining table. Helpful touring books are plentiful, the internet is fast and strong, and there are enough umbrellas available for everyone to walk the pretty streets when it rains.

This was the perfect spot for me and my family. Mark was the nicest and most informative host we've ever had. He provided countless helpful suggestions and tips, making our stay incredibly smooth as first time visitors. When our plane arrived super early, he went out of his way to accommodate us, ensuring the apartment was spotless and ready for our early arrival. The neighborhood is beautiful and offers easy access to transportation, which was especially convenient with our almost 3-year-old son. We felt safe throughout our stay and can’t wait to return!

This is a really special apartment, nestled in a beautiful street rigt in the heart of Chelsea. It has character and feels like a home, but it is also very efficiently appointed. It is on the lower floor but is bright and full of light. It's a great base for exploring London during the day and escaping back a peaceful sanctuary at night. The commutation from the host is somenof the best we have experienced- warm, helpful and timely. He shared great recommendations for local restaurants and the instructions for the apartment (keys, rubbish, coffee machine etc) were all very clear and easy to follow. We would definitely recommend this spot.

Mark”s place in Chelsea could not have been more perfect for our quick trip to London. He was the most gracious host and made sure we had all the information we needed ahead of check in. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and so comfortable for our family of four. With a special shout out to the huge, luxurious towels which is always a lovely surprise! Especially appreciate Mark’s thorough notes about the apartment and his recommendations for restaurants in the surrounding neighborhood, which was awesome to explore and and an easy jumping off point for all our adventures. We enjoyed our December trip to London. The apartment was well laid out and many amenities. We appreciated the electric plug adapters and USB ports. Our host, Mark, was easy to contact and full of helpful information. The neighbourhood was safe and convenient to the Underground. We would definitely stay here again. Wonderful apartment, would absolutely stay here again. The main bedroom and living room actually seemed more spacious is real life than in the photos! Our family of four had plenty of space to hang out and relax. The place is decorated with eclectic art and nice furnishings. Spotlessly clean as well. The neighborhood is safe and upscale and the tube is about five minutes walk. Loved our stay!

The apartment was great for our trip! The location is very central and close to many restaurants and shops. We were able to walk around to many places, and public transportation was also close by for moments where we wanted to use it. The apartment was clean and exactly what was described in the listing. Check-in and check-out was very easy, and Mark was very responsive. We were provided with a lot of helpful information. We would recommend staying here when visiting London!

All the positive reviews are absolutely right. Our family of 3 adults found this to be a perfect place for our short visit to London. The flat is really well located , minutes from the King’s Road area of Chelsea and Sloane Square tube. Mark has created a comfortable and welcoming place, with all the amenities you could possibly need. We all agreed that coming back to the flat after a busy day in London felt just like “coming home”- which sums it up perfectly. We’ll definitely be back.

This was such a wonderful property near London. The owner Mark gave us so many great tips. He had a detailed welcome letter with information about each aspect of the house and recommendations for restaurants and shopping. The house was clean and perfect for traveling with a teen who needs her separate space. The location in a cute, charming neighborhood was wonderful. My only warning is the steep (and I mean really steep) stairs to get down into the apartment. Otherwise this place truly is perfect.

We spent a full week at this flat, and our stay could not have been better. It features one of the most efficient layouts you’ll find for a unit this size, with the bedrooms feeling surprisingly private and quiet given the relatively small footprint of the flat itself. We made use of the couch as a sleeping space as well, which made out into a very comfortable single bed. The space is nicely decorated, and the kitchen is well-appointed. We were grateful for the coffee and tea that the host had provided. The master en-suite bathroom must be seen to be believed — wonderful, relaxing soaking tub and marble finishings. The laundry space is directly across from the front door, easily accessible but separate enough to not create noise in the apartment itself. The stairs down to the apartment entrance would be a challenge for mobility-impaired or larger guests, but we had no problem managing. There are a couple of simple upkeep items that I’m sure can be addressed rather simply, but overall this was a perfect fit for our family. Ten minutes from the Sloane Square tube station, and fifteen minutes from the South Kensington station and museums, so all of London is easily at your disposal.

We cannot say enough good things about this flat. Mark was a great host, he was communicative, thorough, and provided very detailed information about check in, the flat itself and the surrounding area. It was clean and beautifully decorated and fit our family (2 adults, 2 kids) perfectly. We loved the location and felt very safe. The tube was a short walk down a fun street of great shops/restaurants. We would come back in a heart beat!
