We so enjoyed our stay here on a rainy Easter weekend! This is the perfect family cottage with super comfy beds and linens, towels galore, a spacious kitchen and living room, and a lovely private front patio with a fire pit we lit in between rains. We saw so many sea otters and flew kites in town, and it was a lovely short drive to Hearst Castle and elephant seals, and San Luis Obispo. Would book this house again in a heartbeat. We’re enjoying our Easter morning brunch and Netflix while doing a load of laundry before checking out. Thank you to our hosts for opening your home to us!

Very charming little hideaway, a few short blocks from the beach. Lovely home, stocked with the essentials i was so very impressed by the communication and kindness of the property owner and the attention to detail that was paid that i spent the extra time to clean and leave the housekeeper with as little as possible. So very grateful for sharing your lovely place, I enjoyed the few days i was there watsring the gorgeous succulents and I even developed a new little friendship with the blue bird that never fails to greet me outside and talk my ear off. Very easily made myself at home, bedding was beautiful and decor was classy and clean. Thank you Rhoda for opening your place to me and my sons last birthday trip before he turns 18❤️👩👦👨👦

Great place and convenient to Hearst Castle and Wineries! Would definitely stay again. Good quiet neighborhood.

We love that there are two queen sized beds in the second bedroom so the kids have plenty of space. Neighborhood is quiet and safe! Would stay at again

We loved staying here. It was perfect for our needs (mom, dad, 2 adult(ish) sons). The king bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the blankets, fluffy large towels, kitchen amenities, washer & dryer, fans, and front patio. The only cons, which were relatively minor, was the aged Roku which limited tv options & struggling bathroom fan which kept things pretty damp in there, contributing to mold on the shower grout. It was a lovely place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Small but cozy (esp for just the 2 of us); had everything we needed including a comfortable bed, fluffy towels, & best-appointed kitchen I've ever seen in a vacation rental. A bit away from the bustle of the town center (ahhhh!), but near enough to everything we wanted to see & experience. Rhoda's a thoughtful host, and VERY responsive. This was just the get-away we both needed!

Perfect place for delivering a kid to Cal Poly. Away from the busier places in SLO. Very quiet. Also a good base for some hiking and mountain biking. No big deal but there is no dishwasher.

The stay in this house was amazing. Very quiet neighborhood, which we greatly enjoyed. We were informed the neighbors were installing a fence, but it did not bother us at all. The house was well stocked with basic condiments in the kitchen as well beach toys for our kids to enjoy! My kids especially enjoyed the boogie boards! We definitely would visit again.

The house was great for our small family of 3. It was clean, well stocked, and in a great neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Was perfect for a small family, the teenagers shared the bedroom with the two double beds. All the beds were very comfy, everything was spotless and the vibe was very “beachy” and so inviting. I’d love to stay here again the next time we need a little getaway.

We get together with another couple who are close friends every year on the first week of June. This is to celebrate our wives birthday. My wife’s is on the 6th and my friend’s wife is on the 7th. We rented this for that purpose and were very happy. It is nice cozy place and plenty comfortable. There is a nice courtyard in front with nice patio furniture and a hedge for privacy. We would definitely rent it again.

Great bed! Excellent shower. Efficient kitchen. Best of all it is just a short ride from the Morro Strand State beach. Great for after dinner walks on the beach.

The cottage was a perfect get away for my husband and I. Our daughter visited during the week and it was still the perfect size for us. The owner, Rhoda, is very helpful and easy to speak too. She made our stay even better because of a special circumstance. The cottage is well organized, equipped with what you would need, and a nice patio in the front and back to relax.

The house was perfect for our family, cute, roomy, and we’ll stocked. Patio was amazing for our toddler to play safely on while we watched him from inside. This will be a great place to stay during the warmer weather months.
Host was fantastic and very very responsive.

A cute house with everything we needed and more! Very clean and well stocked. Only wish we’d had time to use the beach stuff, wet suits, and bikes. Beds were comfortable and we didn’t mind that there wasn’t a dishwasher. Laundry was convenient in the garage. The front patio was nestled among the hedges - very private.

Overall this was a comfortable stay in a well equipped cottage that’s just a short drive to the beach, Embarcadero, and Morro Rock. My husband and I had a bit of a confusing time checking after realizing we never received advanced check-in instructions, but Rhoda was easy to reach by phone and walked us through the procedure and stated there was a miscommunication between she and her property manager who was out of the country. There was also an unidentified car parked in the driveway upon our arrival, which also threw us for a loop but the neighbor heard and saw us and promptly moved. The cottage looks just like the photos and the bed was very comfortable! I’d say this place is especially perfect for a small family who would surely enjoy all the beach toys, equipment, boogie boards, hauling wagons and bikes!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this properly! If you want to surf at Morro Bay, this is the location for you! Super convenient to surf spots and a nice quiet neighborhood for kids. There were a lot of bonuses with this house. The kitchen was fully equipped with condiments, dishes, paper products, etc. Our kids liked the bonus kid games- Guess Who and Apples to Apples. There were more games and DVDs, which would be perfect had we had a rainy day to spend more time in the house. We didn't use the wetsuits, boogie boards, or bikes, but it was a nice addition. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the SLO area.

Cozy unique cottage, pretty well stocked, private. Short drive to beach. My one wish would be a dish washer

Came with a few friends for a relaxing weekend. Great location and not far from restaurants or the beach. It is quiet and a perfect little getaway. The outdoor spaces were a great spot to enjoy my coffee in the morning.

Rhoda was an amazing host!! She responded right away with every question I had. It helped making the packing process easier.
The cute little house was perfect for our family of four, including our two teenagers who didn’t have to share a bed. Fully stocked kitchen, clean sheets/towels, fast WiFi & options for outdoor kicking back. Lots of restaurant options (especially our new SLO fave, Taco Temple) close by & Cayucos is less than 10min away.
There’s a really cool brewery (Three Stacks & a Rock) walking distance and the beach was only 1/2 mile away. My husband and I enjoyed running to & on the beach then back. We had a wonderful experience for our first time in Morro Bay. If/when we return, I’ll definitely try to get a hold of Rhoda again. Overall, wonderful experience!

For its size, it packs a powerful punch. Owners are very communicative, and have done a great job of making their home user friendly. Well equipped with all the needs you would have for a day at the beach. One can walk to the beach but if you are hauling gear, its best to drive. Morro Strand is real close and has lots of beach access, lots of sand dollars, and a great view of the Rock. All beds were comfy, kitchen is like home minus the dishwasher......hand wash all. Cable TV with all necessary stations, DVD player, and more. Outdoor BBQ with patio set makes for nice family dinners. The smallness of the home, though fully functional, made for family closeness. What we like about it is that its at the north end of the City so it doesn't feel like you're in the city of Morro Bay but in a small pocket with its own vibe.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect and very clean. Everything was extremely comfortable, and well equipped. it was cozy and we would definitely stay again! The instructions were clear and we felt like it was our own for the time that we were there. perfect for two or four people, and the shower was very very nice! plenty of towels and linens. The garage is a nice area set up for kids to hang out! Lots of outdoor equipment for the beach, we didn’t use any but I think it would be great for kids! highly recommend!

We stayed for 3 nights with our three children to celebrate the oldest’s 8th Birthday. I can not say enough good about this rental. The accommodations are perfect for our family of 5, with everything you need including a great location.
We are already looking ahead at when we can rent again.

This is an amazing property. We absolutely loved our stay. The house is very clean, neat, and has tasteful decorations of local beaches. I appreciate the clean look of the space. The house had games, children’s books as well as sand toys and beach gear, my 4 year old loved them all. The kitchen was clean up to date and well stocked with cooking utensils. The listing does not say coffee pot but they have a regular and a kurieg. The neighboorhood is very quiet and relaxing! We will be back.

This was the perfect way to celebrate my sister’s birthday! We were close enough to have access to restaurants and groceries yet tucked into a wonderful, quiet neighborhood to feel far from it all. Our interaction with the owner was ideal and we’ll definitely be back!
