We had the most delightful and relaxing time at the cottage. The location could not be better - the beach is magnificent. For any beach walkers - and those with dogs, this is the place to be. Our host was most helpful. We can’t wait to return next year for another excellent stay.

This lovely property is steps from Chesterman Bay and surrounded by giant redwood trees and the biggest rhododendrons I have ever seen! Absolutely gorgeous. It is a perfect getaway for anyone that loves surfing, biking, beach walks or just a peaceful getaway!

This is a lovely rustic cottage on a beautiful property on Chesterman Beach. Very clean, cozy and is stocked with everything you need to be self sufficient. Todd is an excellent host. Very quick to communicate prior to arrival and checked in with us every day to make sure we had everything. HIGHLY recommend this cottage. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tofino.

The cottage is absolutely charming - beautiful, woodsy construction, equipped with high-end amenities and everything we could possibly need. The location, right on Chesterman Beach, can’t be beat. Todd is an exceptional host, welcoming and responsive while giving us utmost privacy. He particularly welcomed our dog - dog towels and bowels provided! Todd also kept us well informed about the hwy 4 situation, which was most appreciated. We had a most relaxing visit and hope to return. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful week at the Garden Cottage - quiet, peaceful, SO close to the beach. Cottage was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable! The only improvement we could think of would be an outside tap so you could rinse the sand off your feet after you've enjoyed Chesterman Beach. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it to those seeking a respite from a busy life.

We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and to the nearby bike trail and the private backyard deck was perfect for sunny afternoon breaks. The cabin was spotless and well-appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare most of our meals. Todd was welcoming and accomodating and while easily available, he provided us with the quiet and privacy we seek. Luckily we live just hours away and can now look forward to return visits. This was better than I expected. Though the weather was off and on rainy, the cabin was warm and cozy. The furniture and kitchen amenities were high quality and I found it hard to leave for hiking every morning. Yet, with the beach just steps away...well, that made it easy. I had my dog with me as my beach companion and that was no problem. Todd gave me everything I asked for (towels to dry off my dog) and then left me to do my thing. I really appreciated that there was some good take out just a km away and that I didn't need to drive all the way into town. I hope to go back. I left a little bit of my heart on Chesterman Beach.

The cottage was lovely. Very well equipped and perfect for our three night stay. Walked through the property to get to Chesterman Beach. What a spectacular view! Breathtaking! Chesterman Beach Cottage
This lovely cottage sits right off Chesterman Beach -- just a short walk down a pathway and you're on a fabulous Pacific beach, renowned for surfing, and in calmer months, as we experienced, paddle boarding, kayaking, and ocean fun. The cottage is cozy (perfect for a couple) with a great, rustic NW vibe. We loved the setting in the woods with only the sound of waves and birds to fall asleep and wake up to each day. A lovely, sunny deck with dining table was the perfect spot to wake up each morning with a cup of delicious cup of fresh brewed coffee. And at the end of the day, the beach chairs beckoned with beautiful twilight views of the waves and sea. We frequently made use of the small, well-equipped kitchen for meals, but also enjoyed close proximity to town for evenings out. Tofino is a short drive, but if you bring a bike, there's a cycling path which goes into town and runs the length of the peninsula to the many other beautiful beaches.
Todd and Linda are warm and gracious hosts who really care about the experience you have while you're staying in their lodging and visiting this wonderful area. They met us on our arrival to make sure we knew all the ins and outs of the rental and the location, and were readily available whenever we had questions or needed something.
If you're looking for a quiet, cozy beach location, this is an amazing spot!

The cottage was warm and well appointed with quality small appliances, dishes, towels and robes. The gas fire was lovely. Well set up for holidaying with a dog and, best of all, a 40 second walk to the beach.

A Storybook Cottage
Stayed in the garden cottage. Beautiful place steps away from the beach with good surf and lovely garden views from every window.
Owner was beyond accommodating and very easily reached, he mapped out some great hikes and restaurants for us and also provided some amazing local coffee!! Cleanliness was top notch!! Kitchen had all appliances and utensils needed to make meals. Would stay again :)

A beach getaway
We were so thrilled to have found this perfect little cabin not far from the beach and close to everything in Tofino. The cabin had all we needed, comfy furniture, a bathtub we could both squeeze into, and a kitchen filled with all the things one needs to cook or make a beverage. It was warm with the gas fireplace. The beach was steps away which was fantastic. We plan on returning for sure. Todd, the host, was most gracious and helpful including checking in to make sure everything was good.

Perfect Balance of Beach and Peace & Quiet
The Chesterman Beach Cottage was the perfect spot for a getaway. Located just back from the best beach in Tofino (but still at the beach) the cottage offered all that is great about Chesterman Beach and a bit of solitude in a nice garden setting. The cottage is small but is tastefully decorated and prefect for one couple. It is extremely comfortable and has all the amenities you will need. It also has a wonderful, large deck to relax on as well as the perfect spot to leave your sandy beach shoes and toys.
The hosts are extremely accommodating, were there when you needed them and absent when you didn’t . They have been doing this long enough to know what people are looking for on vacation.
We would highly recommend the Cottage and the other two suites to our closest friends and are already planning for a return trip.
