My husband and I had 3 wonderful nights here. The house is well-eqipped, fairly private, close to 'town', and with great water pressure in the shower!
One afternoon it rained incessantly and we lit the fire (woodburner) and had a cosy afternoon in. Other days we were out exploring.
It was great to have provided a coffee plunger, and also oil for cooking.
Great to have washing machine and dryer too, with soap powder provided.
We would happily stay again. In fact i would stay a month if i could.

Older home clean & tidy. Two double beds & two singes all seperate rooms.
Log fire with ample wood was an excellent feature....as the weather turned cold.
Everything needed supplied.

Great place and peaceful location with easy walking to shop and other facilities. We walked low and high and saw dolphins with Akaroa Dolphins. The walk as we left onto Onawe Pa was an emotional experience in many ways knowing some of the history. This holiday house had all we needed to help make for a great 3 night start to a 4 week tour of South Island!!

Perfect location for French Fest weekend with the domain a short stroll away.
We didnt bother getting to the other end of Akaroa.
The house was great for the 4 of us, all facilities worked well, the log burner a treat for keeping chill at bay.
A good front balcony for morning coffees and evening drinks.
Will save this for future visits.
Many thanks.

As usual we thoroughly enjoyed our brief getaway to Annette’s house. It was lovely to crank up the fire and be so warm as the weather was frosty. Lovely dinner at a local restaurant. Thank you Annette.

we very much enjoyed our stay at this house. We took a bus to Akaroa & the house was further from the bus stop than we expected. Overall, the house was fine: wi-fi worked well, beds were comfortable & kitchen was well appointed. The rugs had stains on them (I always worry I’ll be blamed for this!) but otherwise the place was clean & comfortable. The host responded promptly to all queries & the property manager was on site when we arrived & allowed us to check in early. She also allowed us to store our luggage in the carport on our last day so we could continue sightseeing until it was time to catch our bus. I recommend this house without any reservations!
