We had a great time at Wildrose Cottage. It is located in a beautiful spot on a lake and is close to the highway. Grocery stores and restaurants are only 15 minutes away.
The kitchen was well stocked. There was a large deck with a hot tub which was great. There was not many mosquitoes while we were there. It was
so nice to be able to bring our 2 dogs with us on vacation. The gate on the deck was great to keep them enclosed.

I really enjoyed the cottage. It was clean, light and well decorated. The hot tub and dry sauna and modern laundry machines were all added bonuses. The location was very peaceful and beautiful. Close to Halifax and several nice beaches and attractions. The hosts were wonderful too. I would love to visit again. Highly recommend this short term rental.

We were very impressed with this lovely cottage in all respects. It was comfortable and clean, nicely set up with everything we needed. It is in a beautiful location, backing on a pretty lake where we enjoyed watching a blue heron fishing. The hot tub and backyard fire pit were much enjoyed by our group. Our hosts were very responsive and quick to answer our questions. A wonderful place for a holiday!

Great home for good value. The home had some added touches (condiments, utensils etc) the were very beneficial for our stay. The home and backyard areas are excellent for a friend's or family get-together.

This was our second visit to this lovely cottage. We found once again that it was well equipped and maintained. One of the best features is a large deck which made a great place to sit, read, play games, have a hot tub, or just sun yourself. Every night (when no rain), we had a nice fire in the firepit, with the wood provided. The area around is a beautiful part of Nova Scotia, no matter which direction you go. Thanks Andrea & Steve for another great vacation location.

Absolutely loved our stay. The house and property are well-maintained and well stocked. The location is beautiful and close to the highway. The property managers left easy to follow instructions and suggestions for places to see and go. The lake is great to swim in and you're a jump, skip or hop away from the ocean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this immaculate cottage. I love how close the cottage is to the city. I bet it would be perfect in the summer as well so you could have a fire by the water.

This was a perfect spot for visiting the East Coast of Nova Scotia. A little over an hour to Halifax area, about the same to Lunenburg, but out of the traffic of the city. The cottage was cozy and tastefully decorated with a lovely back porch for sitting and having morning coffee. We felt very "at home" here and appreciated all the little extras from notes about how things worked to the foil wrap in the kitchen cupboard.

The cottage was clean and well maintained, with a private, spacious deck, overlooking a good sized yard and small lake. We enjoyed a lot of time there eating, playing games, sunning, hot tubbing, and just sitting, enjoying the view. Conveniently located within 10 km of the Hubbards Market, the Tantallon Market, and Queensland Beach and within an hour of Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and Peggy's Cove, we took advantage of these local sights and experiences. We also appreciated the responsiveness of the owners who replaced a kettle the next day after being notified that it didn't work. Overall, the 11 nights we spent at this cottage were very enjoyable and we definitely plan to return.

We really enjoyed our week at the cottage. We did lots of touring around… Peggy’s Cove, Queensland Beach, Keji Seaside Adjunct, The Ovens, Lunenburg, Chester, Halifax and Hirtle’s Beach. So much to see! The cottage is great. Very clean. The air conditioning was appreciated during humidity. Kitchen is well stocked. The hot tub was super nice after a day of touring around. The owners are wonderful and very responsive. We would happily stay there again!

This property was exactly as advertised. We had a lovely stay with our two children (7& 11), and the cottage was a super home base to explore the area. I loved the close access to the St. Margaret’s Bay bike trail and quick drive to sandy beaches nearby. The bathroom is on the smallish side and bbq not so great for my grill-savvy husband but really no complaints at all. It’s just a great spot for a small family.

Combiner Home Base
We enjoyed coming home to this cozy little cottage at the end of our day exploring. The hot tub was a life saver for us seniors. Some ofnwere in there both morning and night. The well stocked kitchen was handy on the days we ate in. Pretty back yard. Did not use the deck or yard as much as we would have liked due to the cooler weather! Would definitely recommend it!

Hot tub sauna made the trip
We booked this in late March knowing the weather would still be cold and likely grey. And that's why the hot tub and sauna came in handy. We spent most of our time going back and forth, while also enjoying the fire pit outside. Our kids are 9 and 11 and they loved it. I especially liked the sauna in the basement of the house. The property is close enough to the secondary highway that you can sometimes hear the traffic, especially when a big truck goes by. The upside is that road offers an extremely short drive to the nearest beach (there are lots to choose from). Since we live in NS we opted to explore a bit farther away and walked the Castle Rock trail which we found to exceptional! The host was extremely responsive to all of our questions through the app. Check in was a breeze. One note, be sure to keep the lid on the hot tub when not using and always have it cranked to full temp. Even when water temp was at 104, it dropped to below 100 after a couple of hours of use (again, it was march). Good stay!

Girl's Weekend
This was the perfect destination for our 9th annual girl's weekend with my mom, sisters, daughters, and nieces. Beautiful location outside city limits, yet close enough for those who wanted to shop. Cottage was equipped with evrything you could possibly need, as well as being very neat and organized. We loved the hottub and sauna! We had planned on going out for supper each night but actually chose to stay in and have our meals there. Beds were super comfy!! We had a great relaxing weekend away.
