Wonderful stay at this classic New England coastal house with an absolutely perfect property. We made so many memories in the stately great room, on the patio grilling out, and of course, in the amazing pool! Everyone, especially our kids, had the absolute best time and we look forward to staying again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this Chatham Estate with a group of 14, ranging in age from 10 to 81. This property exceeded all our expectations and provided a perfect setting for our multi-generational family reunion.
Property Highlights:
• Heated Pool: The new heated gunite pool was a highlight for everyone. It was large enough for our group to enjoy together. The automatic pool cover and fenced-in design provided safety and peace of mind for the younger members of our family. The surrounding garden with plantings and grass created a beautiful and serene environment.
• Outdoor Spaces: The multiple patios and seating areas offered plenty of options for outdoor relaxation and entertaining. The outdoor shower and rinsing station were convenient after a day at the beach.
• Carriage House: The separate carriage house was a fantastic addition, providing a king bed, living room, galley kitchen, and bathroom. Was great for those without kids.
Conclusion:
Chatham Estate is an exceptional property that offers privacy, space, and a variety of amenities for large groups and families. The combination of a beautiful heated pool, spacious interiors, and an ideal location made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and accommodating getaway.

Our family of 15, including 8 adults, 3 teenagers and 4 children between 4 and 11 stayed here for a week. It was a perfect rental. The 8 bedrooms accommodated us perfectly, as the children were able to stay in proximity to their parents in two separate areas on the second floor. The Carriage House bedroom worked for the parents ORT eh teenagers who stayed on the first floor of the main house with us, the grandparents. The house is incredibly well-maintained, and the large swimming pool was delightful. The kitchen is as well equipped with appliances, utensils and cookware as any restaurant, and even with our large group, we never ran out of cutlery, plates, or glassware. The many public rooms on the first floor provided locations for individual groups who wanted to read, do puzzles, play games, cook, or eat. The house is located on a very quiet street about 1.5 miles from the center of town, and a little over a mile from a small cove beach. The owners have stocked the garage with all of the beach chairs, coolers, sand toys and beach umbrellas that one could ever need. A beach/trail walk starts very near the house.
This residence could not have been more perfect. Thank you!

Stay was great. Big house for the 15 of us, pool, large dining room table, Carriage House was a plus! We had excellent communication with the owner who was incredibly responsive!

The property and location were perfect for our family. The house had everything we needed and more. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We are a large family and there were no complaints. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful home and pool!
The house location was perfect for us. I was a little concerned that we were in a crowded neighborhood, I should not have worried. The home is in a neighborhood, but you cannot see your neighbors at all. The first day we saw three wild turkeys!
We walked and biked to downtown Chatham. The beach was a short drive. We ordered fresh seafood dinners from the fishing pier and it was delicious! I would recommend this home for your next vacation in Chatham.

This is a beautiful Cape Cod home in a beautiful neighborhood. The rooms in the home are separated in such a way that it was great for our family of 11 so that each family had almost their own small wing. GG and Grandad stayed in the Carriage house apartment which provided peace and quiet. The pool was fantastic and used every day, you could walk to town in 20 minutes or to a beach in about 8 minutes. The host was extremely helpful in guidance about the property and things to do in the area since we were visiting from California and did not know the area. We will stay there again.

First off, communication with Dan was stellar from booking through the stay itself. He is highly responsive and honest and took care of the few small issues we had.
Secondly, the photos and descriptions of this house don't do justice to how expansive and roomy it is. There are several different "wings" that give your family/group a real sense of space. The common areas (especially the screened porch and great room) are fantastic for indoor relaxing, and the pool was wonderful, easy to use, and warm!
Incredibly serene neighborhood 5 minutes from Chatham, an easy walk to Lighthouse Beach, gorgeous sights and sounds of the Cape in all directions!

Beautiful property and home. Great for family gatherings with heated pool, main house and carriage house. Very quiet screened porch wonderful for morning coffee or tea, or evening drinks, games etc. we had one maintenance problem with the refrigerator and the owner was very attentive in getting it addressed. When we weren’t sight seeing cape cod we were either in the great room, screened porch or pool. Very relaxing.

We had a wonderful time due in no small amount to the house and our wonderful hosts. The house is impressive. Plenty of room for the 7 adults and 5 kids we had (one bedroom was never used). Lots of dishes, pots and pans, washers and dryers, refrigerators made moving in a breeze. Dan provided a very complete set of instructions and information about beaches and restaurants. Any questions I had were promptly answered. The pool was a wonderful addition to our visit. Though it didn't keep us from visiting our favorite beaches, it was used daily. We will have great memories of our 50th anniversary get together. Thank you Dan and Kim.

Quintessential Cape Cod
The home is lovely and spacious. The various wings and groupings of bedrooms are ideal for multiple families, allowing for privacy.
The kitchen is well outfitted for cooking and serving big meals. The neighborhood and surrounding area can't be beat. The new pool, an added plus.
Our multi-generational family is hoping to return, again. My communication with the owner was stellar. Thank you for sharing your Chatham home with us!

Love our stay in Chatham! House was the perfect size for our family. 17 people ages 6 months to 68 years! Bedroom layout allowed everyone to have their own space at night. Location was central to lots of activities and we always loved returning to the house after a day of exploring the cape. And the pool was the icing on the cake! Thanks!!

Perfect for a multi-generational beach vacation!
We were extremely happy with the home and property, as well as our communication with the owners. The guide to their home and their favorite restaurants, activities, beaches and more proved to be very helpful, as it was our first time renting a home in Chatham. The layout of the home allowed for privacy for my husband & me, as well as for our daughters & their families. The pool is great & allows parents to enjoy the property while young children nap. We especially loved the screened-in porch, where we enjoyed most of our meals. We look forward to visiting again next summer and beyond.

Wonderful Chatham rental
This house with a beautiful new pool was a great match for our large group ranging in age from 1 to 67. We enjoyed cooking in, walking/biking into town, and easy access to the water in all directions. The communication with the owners was just right. They have very thoughtfully outfitted this home and provide a really helpful guide to the area for anyone exploring for the first time. Very grateful for a special week with family in this lovely home!

Fantastic House
This house is fantastically located. Within short walk to oyster pond, a 1 1/2 mile walk into downtown Chatham, heated pool, enough room for everybody to spread out but also to come together. Owners were extremely responsive.

Wonderful property and owners. They did everything they could to make our visit great. The house is beautiful and has been wonderfully decorated. There is a brand new pool and pool deck that is gorgeous. We were 15 people from 6-60yo and everyone had a wonderful time!

Amazing family home in beautiful Chatham
We were stunned by how beautiful the property was when we first drove up. But then when we stepped inside, we were even more delighted to find well-decorated rooms, a great layout for multiple families staying together (different areas of the house allow for privacy while sharing large well-appointed common areas), tons of fun board games and whiffle ball, a kitchen with new fully functioning high-end appliances that was stocked with all the essentials and more, and excellent air conditioning.
We were four families, totaling 16 people, ranging from 3-80 years old, and we all had a wonderful time. The kids and some adults enjoyed long hours of playing whiffle ball, the teens and adults relaxed on the porches and widow's walk, some of us enjoyed being able to run / walk to Chatham lighthouse, and we all enjoyed long family dinners at both the house and in Chatham.
The check-in and check-out process was a breeze. The owners were great about providing insight for our planning of our week there and checked in with us after we arrived to make sure everything was perfect.
All in all it was a perfect rental for a large family reunion, and we would rent it again if we are in Cape Cod!

Wonderful house for large families!
The house is beautiful, meticulously maintained and perfect for large groups. We comfortably fit 8 adults and 5 children. Proximity to town is so convenient, we enjoyed morning walks to get coffee each day. Oyster Pond is also a quick walk or drive and a perfect beach for families with small children. The owners are welcoming and set you up for a great trip - we tried almost all of their recommendations. We loved our time in Chatham!

4th of July at a Beautiful Home
We rented this beautiful home for a family reunion with our children and 9 grandchildren (15 yrs-20mos.)—a group of 18 from NY, WI and WA. We can’t say enough about how lovingly and thoughtfully this house has been decorated and equipped.
We wisely chose the carriage house for ourselves. What a pretty and peaceful apartment! The main house had plenty of personal space as well as common areas for the rest of the group. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, yet just a walk or bike ride to town which we all did often.
We loved Chatham and the surrounding area and took full advantage of the beaches, restaurants, shopping and golf. We enjoyed the 4th of July parade and an Anglers baseball game as well. One of our grandsons had his picture taken with an Anglers player and he was very excited about that.
Everyone went home with great memories of time spent together in this perfect house and location. We would all happily return and would highly recommend this house.

Beautiful Home! Great Location!
We were looking for a large home so several families to gather for a 50th Birthday!
This home fit all our needs! The owners were very helpful in every way from giving us all the information about "things to do" in the area to how things worked in the house. We had never been to the Cape Cod area and were not sure what would be the best central location. Chatham was perfect! We had one issue with a garage code and my text was responded to immediately. I would definitely stay in this home again! Thank you for making it the perfect vacation home!

Wonderful family vacation home close to downtown Chatham
We stayed at this beautiful house last week. With several families vacationing together, this was a perfect home to be together but still have your own separate space. We loved sitting in the screened-in porch throughout the day and going up to the widow's walk every evening for sunsets. The house really had everything we needed (including tons of children's dishes and toys). The house was so close to downtown Chatham and Oyster Pond Beach. We had cars but brought our bikes and enjoyed riding through the neighborhood to downtown, the beach, and an Anglers game. We had seven children with us on vacation and the house's fenced yard was perfect for all sorts of outdoor games. The welcome packet had great info about the house but also had so much information about Chatham and the surrounding areas.

Great property with plenty of room inside and out for a large family gathering
Our group included 12 adults and 4 children...the house offers so much room and comfort for a large family gathering. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and eating meals at the large dining table as well as on the screened porch. The great room was well stocked with games and comfortable seating, each of the bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this wonderful, private and quiet home in Chatham. The only downside was having to leave...we actually shed a tear or two when we left the house because it provided such a great environment and we had such and enjoyable stay with our entire family on the Cape!

Perfect!
This is our second year staying at this beach house and we couldn't ask for anything more. We used both the main house and garage apartment and it accommodates our large group of 15 perfectly (and we didn't even use one of the bedroom so it could have easily fit more comfortably).
The layout of the house allowed each family to have their own space (and their own bathroom!) and the house and furnishings felt new, modern, and clean. The location in Chatham is perfect and the owners are extremely responsive. It is truly a great and rare find!

We actually tried to think of something that this lovely property did not have and we failed !
Kim and Daniel have thought of everything when furnishing their lovely home .The Layout provides three separate and distinct suites in addition to the carriage house which makes it ideal for multiple families .
The game room and library are fully stocked to meet everyone's needs. The kitchen is amazing and the layout is conducive to spending a lot of time around the kitchen counter ! We opted to take our pictures on the grounds of the home rather then head to the beach because the hydrangeas surrounding the home are lovely . Beautiful view from the Widows walk !
The owners are outstanding to deal with and are quick to answer texts and emails .
In addition, the home is nestled away from the main road and provides a very peaceful and private environment . Ours was a family vacation for people who don't see each other all the time and this property enabled us to make some great memories .
Thank you Kim and Daniel !

Highly Recommended Charming, Well Appointed Home is the Perfect Gettaway for a Large Group
This home was the perfect place for our large multi-family group which included children from 4 to 18 years old. The home is beautifully maintained with designer touches throughout. The spaces are very functional including a gorgeous kitchen, fabulous game room stocked with games for all ages and many nooks and crannies to explore such as the roof deck, widow's walk and screened-in porch. Grocery close by, walk to town, short drive to a variety of beaches, movie theater etc. The owners generously provide many resources and recommendations for your stay - rain or shine. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this beautiful property.

The perfect place for multi-generation groups.
This was the perfect place for our three-generation family reunion with 11 adults and 3 children in 6 families. Each couple had a room to themselves and the families with kids took the upstairs "suites" - bathrooms included. A plus for our family was the zoned A/C, which allowed for different comfort levels in different rooms. In addition to the games and books, there were personal touches in every room that made it seem more like staying in a family member's home than a rental property.
The kids loved reading new books, going to the beach and running around outside in the large yard. The large selection of kids' dishes was perfect for three girls who all wanted something pink! The adults loved the recreational options in town. There were trips to the Chatham Anglers ball games, the town's ice cream parlors, restaurants and craft fair.
The owners are wonderful. We had a slight mixup with sheets when we arrived but a quick call to Kim resolved the issue immediately. She was able to direct us to the exact spot in the exact closet where the proper sheets were found. That's no small feat in a house with as many closets as this one has.
One small example of the care Kim and Dan put into this house is the quality of the beach towels. We were expecting to find small, thin towels but these were luxurious - thick and bigger than average.
You can't go wrong staying here.

Dream cottage in Chatham!!
Best of both worlds in this incredible find in Chatham!! All of the charm of a traditional cape cod cottage with the space and amenities of a modern home! We enjoyed a quintessential multi-family vacation in this cape jewel!! The space was beyond anything I expected, with comfortable living and sleeping arrangements for three families, each with multiple children, a wonderful yard, a brief jaunt to the water and a short bike/drive into town. I jogged around the surrounding streets and it was just me and the lighthouse! Then I cooked breakfast and I felt like I needed to upgrade my kitchen at home because this place was finished with all of the best appliances. They should film a food network show there!! If you want to visit the cape... if you want to go with friends but don't want to be on top of one another... if you have kids... if you don't... if you love the water... if you don't love the water... if you want some privacy... if you want a central gathering place for a large group... THIS HOUSE IS FOR YOU!!! It has something for everyone. Can't wait to go back!!

The house is like the energizer bunny - it keeps on going and going! The home could not have worked out better for our family wedding plans. It easily accommodated our 16 guests with room for more. You can tell the owners really love their home - it is beautifully appointed and comfortable in every way. We loved it.

Simply Amazing!
I rented this incredible home with 8 friends for my birthday weekend which was made even better by warm Fall weather. The photos don't do the home justice, is it breathtaking when you walk in and take it all in. Every detail of the house surpassed my expectation, the owners have taken great pride in this home, every detail is well thought out and there was nothing we needed that wasn't provided. It is a great home for a large group, bedrooms in separate parts of the home with lots of bathrooms made for privacy yet still an opportunity to enjoy a large Cape Cod home together. We cooked many meals in the kitchen. which was so well stocked and the large dining area and porch allow for fun group dinners. The most amazing part of the house is the great room which is in the center of the home, it is cozy with lots of boardgames and a great place to read, relax or enjoy as a group. Thank you so much for making my birthday special and i can't wait to return again to Chatham and this Chatham Family Retreat. I highly recommend this house and the owners were so wonderful and accommodating. Thank you!!

Fabulous stay at a fabulous house
We came for a long weekend with three other families - between us we had 8 adults and 9 children. The house offered plenty of space for us to spread out. Each family had their own area for sleeping, but during the day there were common areas inside and out where we could come together to eat and play. The yard was an amazing plus because we could go outside and run, throw baseballs, play corn hole, etc.
Beyond the house itself, the location was perfect. We could walk to a small "adventure beach" and ride bikes to town and the 4th of July parade. Great family beaches were a short drive away.
I would highly recommend this property and can't wait to go back.

We stayed here with a large group of adults and kids and it was perfect. The house is beautiful and practical. The owners have clearly put a lot of love into the place and were extremely helpful in providing additional info. The location is great - walk to water, short drive to great beaches, and very quiet. Highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a great place for a group on the Cape.

Family Reunion 2016
We rented this beautiful home for a family reunion/retirement party for several adults and six children (ages 2 and 1/2 to 14). The owner was there to greet us (just a coincidence) and guided us through this wonderful property. Kim and Dan could not have been nicer, we feel like we have known them forever. My family has vacationed and owned on the Cape for several decades and this was the first time we could all be together as a family. The home is exactly as described and well appointed. We even had enough beach chairs to use an as we all journeyed to the National Seashore. I would highly recommend this home for a large group as it has 8 full bedrooms and 5 and 1/2 bathrooms. It is centrally located and on a quiet street which was perfect for a large family.
It truly deserves 5 stars.
This was our first experience with VRBO and we will work with them again.

We had a great stay in a remarkable house. Plenty of room for our entire family. Good location.
The house was furnished with so many conveniences which we all made good use during our stay. The room arrangement let us divide up our family including four grandkids so that everyone had plenty of personal space. The new apartment over the garage was an extra bonus allowing an older couple to have a comfortable place away from the kids in the main house. The location was so convenient to town, the big on don town for the really small kids too young for the beach, and local area sights. The view from the roof widows walk was a treat both day and night. Our family reunion was most excellent because of the comforts of this fine place. Hope to repeat our visit in a few years.

No house is perfect but this is close. From the moment you walk in the door you feel like you're home. The kitchen is better stocked than mine. The way the house is set up you can enjoy privacy. The newly finished room above the garage is amazing. If you want a TV in every room this is not the house for you. The Wifi is spotty. Chatham is so beautiful you don't spend much time in the house, so this really wasn't an issue. Leave your computer at home and enjoy this awesome house.

Driving up to the house comes as a real surprise. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Chatham and surrounded by woods well away from the road.
We spent a long weekend in Chatham and this house comfortably hosted 5 children (ages ranging from 4 to 11) and 8 adults with various visitors coming and going during the day. Everybody had ample space for privacy and participating in group events as they wished. The expansive lawn outside provided a great space for the kids to run around and get rid of all their excess energy. With inclement weather confining everybody inside, it never felt crowded.
The whole house is beautifully appointed with lovely furnishings in all the bedrooms. The kitchen had all the up-to-date equipment required to cook sit-down meals for the whole group. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return.
