We had a great stay here during our ski trip. The house was cozy and comfortable. It was easy to walk to town or take the free bus to any of the ski resorts. There was also a good restuarant down the block that was convenient for a quick breakfast or lunch. The hosts were friendly and helpful in answering our questions. We would love to return one day!

My daughter and I had a great couple of days with this as our home base. It is cozy with lots of character. Small but all you need for two people to be quite comfortable. Very convenient location to the Aspen Institute and downtown.

The carriage house is perfectly situated for easy access to the Aspen Music Festival tent, walking in the West End, and convenient for the buses to downtown. Nicely appointed and taken care of by friendly and responsible hosts. Pretty sitting area by the front door.

It was just down the street from the Aspen center for physics.

This quiet attached guest house was perfect for me. It was quiet, comfortable, and Lees, the owner, was great to work with. I will stay there again.

If you want the rustic feel of the ol' Aspen this is it! Great location (although not ski in/ski out). The walk is easy to town. Bet it would be even better in the summer!

My partner and I went here for a ski vacation. To our delight, we were able to easily access Snowmass, Highlands, Buttermilk, and Ajax all from the bus stops that were 1-2 blocks away from where we stayed. The location was also actually close enough to walk to town for dinners. The place was furnished with fridge and mini stove, so you could do your own cooking if desired. The only down side was that the bed is pretty high and swayed with any movement, so if you are a light sleeper it could be a challenge. The place was beautifully decorated and had everything that we wanted and needed for a wonderful ski vacation in Aspen, and the hosts were absolutely delightful. Would definitely recommend.

This is an exceedingly charming little carriage house, perfect for a couple. It is small, but perfect if you don't need much space.
The hosts are longtime Aspenites, and are lovely. Bonus points for being just around the corner from the Hickory House.

Cottage Haven
What a delightful place! Our wonderful memories of Aspen are forever entwined with our stay here. It is a perfect spot for a couple, in a great location - just close enough to walk to restaurants and attractions, and just far enough away to be restful. The property is beautiful, tastefully and perfectly appointed and with everything we needed. The hosts are lovely and friendly, and had great suggestions for local attractions and restaurants. I rarely say this, as I am a wanderer, but I would return.

Charming cottage
This is the loveliest little property, and the most gracious hosts. Could not have been better located for access to town and bike paths. The cottage is very thoughtfully appointed and the bed deliciously comfortable. Our hosts were very accommodating and thoughtful. Five stars all around!

Aspen great.. unit, so so.
Let me just say that the town of Aspen is all I expected. Great skiing, nice walking and hiking which we did as well; and we’ll go again in a heartbeat. Basically ski in Aspen Mountain, though did visit Snowmass and skiing should be good too, but next time.
As far as the unit we stayed, just as listed. Small and no frills, but once you are in you find a way to adapt. Price was acceptable considering everything in Aspen is overly expensive. A note to consider, the unit is attached to the main residence and the walls are very thin so you can hear clearly the other side if speaking in higher tone. So they could hear you too if for example you are in an argument with your partner. (just saying). Had a minor undesirable experience on this regard. I did relate it to the owner and are aware. That said, Lees the owner was great and understanding.

Perfect Location!
This property has an ideal location and is loaded with charm! Lees and Mark were terrific hosts and very attentive. We skied Ajax, Highlands, and Snowmass with the easiest transportation network that was free! Would highly recomend, and would stay agin in a minute!

Cozy place, Perfectly hosted.
Lees and Mark met us at check in walking us thru the nuances of the property. The space was exactly as described. It was decorated nicely and had everything we needed. The downstairs was cozy, and the bed in the loft is probably the best on the whole property. It is located perfectly to explore by foot, bus, or car. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Lovely property for our 4 day getaway. Quiet at night, and within walking distance to restaurants.
Property owners were very helpful and responsive as our visit approached. They met us in person when we arrived, which almost never happens. Very kind, and would recommend them and this property to our friends.

The best hosts and cute cottage
It’s hard to find a flaw in our experience at the pink cottage in Aspen. Lees and Mark were amazing hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our trip to Aspen. From the little tour Mark gave us on arrival to the xmas cookies Lees baked us. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts during our stay. The photos don’t do this place justice as it’s stunning and cozy and Lees has done a great job decorating the cottage with great quality amenities.
We absolutely loved our time in Aspen as it felt like a fairytale and can’t thank Lees and Mark enough for being such caring and helpful hosts. 10/10 would recommend

Perfect Location - Charming Place
We stayed in Aspen for a few nights to attend the Food & Wine Festival. This rental was perfect. Cozy and charming and a walk to anything and everything. Our hosts were kind and checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed, which was lovely.

Very quaint and small cottage in the heart of Aspen
If you are looking for a very clean and tiny cottage, this is your place. Great for quick vacation. Super location. The cottage is very small but it worked for us.

Cozy and just perfect!
I came to Aspen for the first time on a solo trip. This place was absolutely perfect, it had everything I needed and I felt like home right away. I was greeted by Lee’s a very sweet lady!
The only down side was that I booked for three nights but they were only able to accommodate me for two nights! This weekend was packed but I got very lucky to find a place for my last night in Aspen.
Definitely recomend it, I hope to come back soon.

Lovely Stay
We so enjoyed staying in this lovely property - so delightful and beautifully appointed. Lees provided lovely bouquets of fresh sweet pea flowers -- one of my favorite flowers!
Lees and Mark were so gracious and available for any advice. We are so glad that Lees told us how close the walk was to the Aspen Music Festival.
We loved the space and spent a good amount of time reading when we were resting from hiking, and biking and other outdoor adventures with our nephew.
Hoping to stay in the future!
Thank you Lees and Mark

This "Coach House" as it is romantically described is nothing of a sort. It is a cramped two story 350 sq ft cottage with a small kitchen and a bathroom located next to the kitchen. The bathroom is adequate but the shower water pressure is feeble and inadequate. The Bedroom is up a flight of stairs with no banisters or railing . If you need to use the bathroom at night , you have to go downstairs . There are no night lights at floor level . Older people should be very careful at night in this "Coach House" Because it is a rebuilt , repurposed shed, there are exposed electrical wires carrying juice to various lamps which are uselessly placed where the owners presumed they are needed. The furnature seems to be 1950's Motel in style and in use for that long.(well worn in) . A kitchen table is provided but it is small , perhaps 18 inches wide and 36 inches long. Hard to cook and then hard to sit and eat. (Insult to Injury). Upstairs has its own hazards. The floor which is a simple plank boards , squeak loudly which is not a daytime problem but at night on the way to the bathroom the squeaks are loud enough to wake up anyone still asleep. The bed is situated in the middle of a low sloping ceiling . If you are six feet tall you will have to duck or your head will bump into the ceiling . And about the bed, it is mounted on posts which put it about 3.5 feet above the floor. A two step wooden movable stair is provided(just one) which I assume means that the hosts believe the man can jump up on the mattress but the woman will require two steps to launch herself onto it. It is clear that the owners have not ever spent a week end in their "Coach House" . If they have, then they are either unconscious, or believe their location is so impressive(Aspen) that their guests would never think of complaining. If you plan to cook some meals there , know they provide no Microwave. If you plan to watch any TV , know they provide no TV although they do have internet. Finally, be advised that the place is a booby trap which any guest will have to stay conscious of and continually make accommodations to and behavior adjustments in order to allay frustrations. It takes energy to stay in the place and no one should book more the a few days at most . Anyone over 65 should pass on this second hand abode and no one should book a stay longer then 2 overnights. It is not for extended stays.Finely, the hosts are sweet people who mean well and are very personable.

Southern hospitality in Aspen
A cute and comfortable cottage in a beautiful residential neighborhood in Aspen. It's a short walk to the downtown area and the bus service is excellent. Also there are multiple hiking/biking options right from the property.

Nice place, location, hosts
Cozy place for 1 person or 2, well located. Next door to hosts. A week prior it may have been hot as there is no AC, but my week was cool.

Cute space
Location is great! I could walk/ bike to town. Lees was a great host. Her one bedroom carriage house is ok for not more than two person. Space is used up very well and everything inside was clean. The decor will make you feel you are back in the medieval farm house. Even with the owners living right next door attached to the house, Lees was very respectful to my privacy and were very quiet during my stay(old houses creak a lot btw and can hear everything next room). I booked this place literally the last minute and Lees was very responsive. I really liked that.
May be a small microwave would have been nice in the room, so you don’t have to heat up everything on the gasstove. Thank you for having me at your charming house.
