Newly renovated hillside home has vineyard, mountain and valley views throughout. The Master Bedroom looks out over the Valley of the Moon with access to a rooftop garden and hot tub where you can soak in vineyard views. Located between the Sonoma Plaza and Glen Ellen the property provides close proximity to the best restaurants and activities that Sonoma county has to offer. This newly renovated hillside home his situated on three levels and decorated throughout with all new contemporary furnishings. At the center of it all is a courtyard with outdoor fire pit and sliding glass wall that opens up the dining/living area.

A Modern Sonoma offers a full gourmet kitchen with built in BBQ right off the dining and living areas. The lower level features 3 Bedrooms (two with queen size beds and a Jack & Jill bathroom,and the third can be used as a media/game room or a bedroom with a queen bed. There is an additional full bathroom across from the media/bedroom.

Gorgeous home on a secluded street with breathtaking balcony views. Home and bedrooms exactly as described with fun accents and amenities. Plenty of outdoor seating in multiple locations. Kitchen and bathroom stocked with all the basics. Would definitely recommend this property and use again on our next trip out to Sonoma.

Ideal property for our long weekend visiting Napa and Sonoma. Comfortable accommodations for all of us (only 5). Very well furnished and tech ready. Owner has done an excellent job of providing notes regarding all the features in the house.

This property is absolutely amazing! Tucked away in a private area, this home truly feels like a spa retreat (which is exactly what I was hoping for). Perfect for a group - we had 7 girls staying here. Kim thought of all the little things (make-up mirrors in the bathrooms, q-tips, removal rounds, amenities in the showers, etc). And when I couldn't find something, she was easily reached and responsive. We are already planning another trip to stay here again!

We came to Sonoma from the east coast to attend a wedding. The house was perfect for our party of 6. We all had enough individual space to relax, the common areas were very inviting, and the all of the outdoor spaces provided great opportunities for relaxation. The views were great and made you feel like you were in the country...and yet we were only minutes from Sonoma square. The house was very well appointed and had everything we needed - ample towels, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds and bedding, and beautiful decor. The house really rounded out what was already a joyful weekend.

5 star rating. The home is breathtaking gorgeous. Perfect from check-in and check-out, location, cleanliness and ambiance. The kitchen had every possible appliance and cooking utensils needed. Highly recommend this property and host.

This was a perfect place for me and my 4 girlfriends to stay while exploring wine country. Kim was extremely helpful before and during our stay. From restaurant recommendations to transportation companies, she responded quickly with a long list of options. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and plenty of patio options for enjoying the outdoors! We enjoyed morning walks to nearby Barking Dog Roasters. If I ever return to Sonoma, I hope to stay again!

We loved this location for being central between Sonoma, Napa Valley, and Russian River Valley. The house was modern, fully stocked, clean, and luxurious. Kim was excellent and communicated quickly and clearly. We enjoyed our stay!

This property was amazing and we already miss it. The views are spectacular living spaces are phenomenal and convenience to downtown Sonoma is fantastic! This home was equipped with everything! Plenty of supplies, beds are super comfortable and the host was very responsive, helpful and great to deal with. Overall we are super happy with our choice to stay here.

We stayed at the house with 2 other couples. The house was perfect for the 6 of us. Kim was wonderful in reaching out to us prior to the visit. The location was perfect for anything in Sonoma. The drive to Napa wineries was 30-40 minutes.

Despite the dismal weather we had a wonderful time! This lovely home was extremely well equipped and comfortable. Given the rain, We were grateful to have the large, indoor gathering space for all of us to enjoy. I would not recommend this home for anyone who has issues with stairs.

Our family of 6 had an amazing stay at A Modern Somona - this home is in a wonderful location and the owner literally thought of everything! There was nothing we could think of that was not provided! From a fantastically appointed kitchen to games, books and TV’s to a stunning view with multiple outdoor gathering areas, and hot tub and outdoor grill…full sized bath products, dryers, steamer, iron, extra pillows, robes, blankets and towels…I could go on and on……..this wonderful home provided the perfect gathering spaces plus privacy with a spectacular view! We loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful home and will definitely reserve this place again! Could not recommend A Modern Sonoma more! WE LOVED IT!

We couldn’t have picked a better spot to spend our week in Wine Country. This is an exquisite property with all the amenities you could wish for. Very private, gorgeous views of the surrounding area, and large bedrooms. Kim couldn’t have been more accommodating - even left us a bottle of wine and a variety of cheeses upon arrival. Highly recommend staying here!

This is the second year that we spent Thanksgiving in Sonoma so we have had a chance to not only compare Modern Sonoma to the house we got last year, but my sister got a house this year that we saw. Top 5 vacation spot for 4 worldly travelers! Gorgeous multilevel modern but super cozy home, included well equipped kitchen, amenities galore, and some easy to use tech to make nights by the outdoor fire a easy listening delight. Super pleasant and professional host. Easy access to Sonoma square, restaurants and shops, but tucked away in a private neighborhood for a retreat feel with a perfect view of the sunsets off the back deck(s).

We booked the property for two weeks based on the pictures of the views and the excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. The kitchen is completely equipped for cooking at home and eating outside on the patio was the cherry on top! The entire house is situated to take advantage of the beauty of the area. We travel to Sonoma once a year and would definitely book again

My girlfriends and I enjoyed this home! It was well-stocked with quality appliances! I've already started researching replacing my bedroom tv with a Portrait TV, lol! My friends and I enjoyed playing cards by the fireplace and quiet moments to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The house is only 30 minutes from Napa. I must say that I am glad we stayed in Sonoma to enjoy this home and the local restaurants. Kim is a great host and answered all of our questions. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home . There was plenty of room for 8 of us . (4 couples) . The 4 th bedroom had a Murphy bed and pull out couch . We used the bed and it was very comfortable. We enjoyed the deck and it’s beautiful views for morning coffee and enjoyed nights in the courtyard with the fire pit. The kitchen was well laid out and easy to work in . I would highly recommend “ A modern Sonoma”
