Quiet NOFO LOCATION
The location of the property was perfect. It was in a quiet neighborhood overlooking a pond that accesses the Peconic, yet close to town, golf, farm stands & the wineries. Maria was always available to answer any questions that I may have had during my stay. The home was spacious, clean and had amenities needed to complete our stay, including kayaks. Very relaxing!

Greenport gem
What a wonderful vacation home! The house is well equipped and well taken care of with plenty of space for 6. The property is beautiful and includes a wonderful dock where my grandson spent most of his time fishing. The location is perfect for relaxing but close to Greenport , wineries and Orient Point. I highly recommend this to any family seeking a north fork vacation.

A slice of heaven on the North Fork
Our 2 week stay was wonderful and so incredibly relaxing. The house is in a spectacular location on the water, and conveniently close to town as well as farm stands and beaches. It is spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped and the use of the lovely apartment next door was an added bonus, as was the 4 kayaks which we used almost daily. It is a place that you do not feel compelled to leave- which was great given the pandemic! Our group ranged in age from 6 to 65, and everyone was happy. The owner lives nearby and is very helpful and accommodating. We will be back!

Lovely getaway for R&R
My family had a relaxing and fun stay here. A much-needed vacation after being sheltered in this spring. The house is very welcoming, comfortable, and clean. Kitchen is well-equipped. It even had everything we needed to cook and eat lobsters. The view of the water and use of the kayaks made the stay extra special. The location is great: close to town, short nature hikes, farm stands, and small local beaches. And at the end of a quiet residential street, it felt private. We would be happy to return!

Definitely a peaceful retreat!
I loved starting my day with a cup of coffee and sitting on the patio overlooking the inlet - watching the birds and the boats. So beautiful and so tranquil. It was also a wonderful spot for grilling and enjoying a glass of wine. So basically I really never needed to leave! But we did - to the beach and the wineries, the charming town of Greenport, and an evening in Shelter Island. We also loved taking the kayaks out. And the interior of the house is lovely - very comfortable and well equipped. And the owner was great to check in with us. We didn't need anything but she was very available if anything came up. Would love to come back!

Fun and Serene
Best North Fork rental ever! Gorgeous spot with kayaks, nearby beaches, lots of grass to play in and a dock for watching the local heron. The house is comfortable, well equipped and immaculate. Maria provided for all our needs. I could not have asked for a better spot for our family vacation.

Beautiful part of the world!
We have stayed at this beautiful location before and always had a wonderful time. There is so much to do in this area and our whole family (ages 3, 4, 5, 7 and 7 and their parents) who had not been here before can't wait to come back next year! I have also recommended it to friends. The property is set on a quiet, picturesque inlet and we all enjoyed the opportunity to use the kayaks and relax on the property and appreciate the views including a beautiful heron who would glide past each day.
The sandy beach at Norman E. Klipp Marine Park is just a short paddle from the house. We also took an excellent boat ride on Glory from the harbor in Greenport which the kids loved, thanks to Capt. Dave who welcomed our tribe of 11 warmly and was terrific with the kids. We enjoyed the local wineries Kontokosta and Croteaux and there are many more to go! Greenport has a great busy downtown shopping area with many restaurants, ice cream parlors, coffee shops, bakeries, a supermarket and a carousel for the little ones. We have enjoyed delicious meals at The Frisky Oyster, Noahs and Porto Bello. We had a great excursion to Shelter Island, an easy short ferry ride away. Harbes Farm in nearby Mattituck provided much fun for the children and a little further along is Love Lane Kitchen and Lombardi’s market – not to be missed! Orient, in the other direction, is also a very attractive place to visit with a state park which offers more activities and wildlife.
The owner went to a lot of trouble to make us feel welcome. In fact we found everyone we came into contact in the area very gracious and friendly. We’d love to return to this place where we have such great memories of good times.

Really Great Place to Vacation in Greenport!
My wife and I needed an escape for our wedding anniversary. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location and a relaxing atmosphere. We were also very close to all the local attractions (wineries, restaurants, beaches and more). The house was well stocked with supplies, the interior had all the modern accommodations and the house owner made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. We spent our evenings sipping wine on the back lawn overlooking the inlet water channel.

Serene, tranquil, peaceful,... just beautiful!!!
What a beautiful location! We are more than happy to have found this cozy and tastefully furnished rental. The views are simply gorgeous and the setting is very peaceful - it's perfect for a relaxing vacation. We were four adults and three children. Every day we would fish, take the kayaks out, swim, BBQ, relax in the hammock, ... we loved the place so much, we didn't even go to the beach at first :) And Maria was absolutely lovely! This is definitely a place we are coming back to.

Awesome Rental!
Great waterfront home! Best shaded yard with hammock and kayaks. Clean and cozy, very inviting, with A/C and fully stocked kitchen. Had plenty of room for all of us and our parents who stayed at the studio above the garage (newly renovated and totally mint with great views). We are definitely coming back, not only for the great location, beautiful home and view, but also because the hostess is so sweet! It is also 8 miles from Orient Point Beach, a mile from Greenport town and so close to awesome farm stands and vineyards.

Great place, great location, great owner!
We couldn't have been happier with this rental! It provided plenty of space for my family (six adults + 1 baby) and is within a mile of Greenport's restaurants, bars, grocery and shopping. It is also very close to many of the lovely vineyards the North Fork has to offer. The house was quiet, very clean, provided plenty of cooking tools and located right on a canal for beautiful viewing. The backyard is perfect for relaxing in the hammock or using the free kayaks at the house.
Renting the property was such an easy process and Maria (the owner) provided us with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.
I highly recommend this property and will hopefully have the chance to stay again soon!

We have stayed here two summers in a row now and love it. It super comfortable and the yard is perfection. Our boys have the best time in the back yard!
Maria makes sure you have everything you need and could not be a better hostess!

Peaceful Retreat
I stayed here with family for a week in June. The house is right by the water and is one of the most relaxing and peaceful places I have ever stayed in. Maria was very friendly and everything about the booking ran smoothly and was easy to navigate. I loved taking the kayaks out, having breakfast in the morning sun on the lawn and relaxing in the hammock. The property is a short drive from Greenport and many other beautiful attractions. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Peaceful and Beautiful!
We spent a too-brief weekend at this lovely home and have already inquired about returning for a longer stay! The photos are accurate, but cannot capture the beauty and peacefulness of the location. We spent so much time enjoying the lovely patio and yard right on the waterfront - barbecuing, kayaking or just relaxing in the hammock! The house itself is charming and fully equipped with everything we needed - from kitchen utensils, beach chairs and towels right down to the Trivial Pursuit game we found in the drawer when we realized we forgot to bring ours! Maria was there to greet us and made us feel perfectly at home from the minute we arrived. Greenport is a lovely town, and one of the nicest things was the fact that it is only about a 5 minute drive, but you can return to the house and feel as if you are a million miles away. We can't imagine anyone who wouldn't be happy there - we fell in love with it!

Returned for the second time
Returned for the second time in a row to this beautiful house. Again, we had a wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful stay. We love the kayaks, the BBQ grill, and the swings in the backyard. Mere 10-15 minutes to the vineyards.
Maria is an amazing host. We look forward to coming back again!!!

Serenity Now!
If you're looking for a quiet family getaway, look no further. A beautiful house on a peaceful and private property, we immediately felt right at home! As you can see from the pictures, the back yard is not only spacious, but exquisitely serene (hammock, deck chairs and swing-chair available!) We found the house charming and roomy - we were 6 adults and 2 toddlers - with a fluid layout. We took advantage of all local and nearby activities, from fishing to kayaking (there are two kayaks available from the home) farm stands and wineries. Northfork is a great relaxing family destination..... and this house is the perfect home away from home! We hope to be back next summer!

Beautiful, Peaceful Respite!
Stayed at the house this summer, and it was an excellent experience. The backyard, which as you can tell from the pictures, slopes right down into the canal. It was so peaceful and relaxing, I was just plain sad to leave. The owner Maria was wonderful as well, and she has kayaks for your use to go out into the water with. The separate apartment above the garage is an awesome touch that is rarely found too (and was especially good for my wife and I when we wanted to invite our friends with babies out to stay with us. 6am wake-ups are for them, not the rest of us...hence, the guest apartment, which has its own kitchen and dining area, so it is totally self-sufficient!). The main house is great too, with three bedrooms (one on the first floor, which was nice for our elderly parents to be able to stay when they came out). The kitchen had a country-home feel, and the house was well stocked for the nights that we cooked and stayed in. As you can see from the pictures, the house doesn't have the most modern/updated interior if that's what you're looking for, but we loved the charm of the house. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely rent here again.

Repeat Renter
What a peaceful and serene location. It meets all the activity needs (boating, fishing, swimming, relaxing) of my family. There is something for everyone here. The location is close enough to town for shopping and restaurant dining at the same time private and secluded enough to be relaxing. We have rented this beautiful and comfortable home two times already and have had wonderful experiences. With a very accommodating and friendly property owner . . . you will definitely see us again!!

Everything we were looking for and more
My family had a wonderful stay in Greenport. The house was neat and beautiful, the neighborhood serene -- it was everything that we were looking for. A mere 10-15 minute drive from the wineries. Really no complaints, except that the photos here don't do justice to how beautiful the actual place is :) Thank you for being a kind and responsive host! Would love to come back in the future.

Memorial Day getaway
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend away for Memorial Day with some friends. We could not have picked a better spot! There are so many reasons why this house was a great find. The views are amazing. The house is on a quiet inlet with a hammock and adirondack chairs to lounge in.
The backyard has a grill and enough patio furniture to fit all 8 of us! We also used the two kayaks which are in the backyard.
The location to town was very convenient. We jogged into town during the day and it was a quick cab ride at night. We also went to wineries which were not far.
The house itself is adorable and very clean. We also used the apartment which was decorated just as nicely as the house and has its own kitchen and bathroom. It was great for our friends with a baby. They had their own space but could still hang out with everyone!
Finally, Maria is a pleasure to deal with and she put so much effort into making the house comfortable for us. We can not wait to go back!
