About this house rental
This historic Spanish Bungalow features a freshly reappointed interior and exterior. Fully restored, the home was originally built in the 1920s, and boasts authentic charm with traditional white stucco exterior, clay tile roof, cantera stone and wood floors, plaster walls, french doors and windows, and custom lighting (almost all on dimmers).
Mexican talavera tile direct from San Miguel de Allende adorn the entire exterior from the terra-cotta walkway to the front door entry. Curb appeal is through the roof with a professional landscape design complete with lighting (on timers). The house is wrapped in patios, from the side courtyard to the lush backyard. There are mature shade trees, nine redbuds that bloom with vibrant color in spring, and a miniature agave garden in back. There is an abundance of outdoor furniture for dining al fresco and lounging. The side courtyard is floored in cantera stone and offers a cozy spot to observe passers by and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. There is a gas grill available for guests.
The owners have furnished the home with pieces from their own collection of antiques and vintage finds from several parts of the hill country and boasts original art. A cool-mix of mid-century classic, Spanish Art Deco with the texture of artisans from Mexico… you won't find anything quite like it. The main living and dining areas are large enough to host gatherings with it's open-concept design and access to the side courtyard. You'll find a comfy sectional to sink into or a swanky glass and brass dining table to enjoy a meal. The well-appointed kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, freezer (w/ ice maker), stove and other various small appliances, not to mention a separate coffee bar.
The master bedroom (king-sized bed) is oversized with plenty of room for extra furniture pieces, sitting area, and office/study area. Equipped with flat-screen hi-def television with access to a cable, HBO and Showtime. It's all in the details with high-quality linens, bedding, wooden hangers, provided paper and handmade pencils. The adjoining full bathroom is very unique featuring a custom Mexican Art Deco design mixing glass block, cantera stone and travertine materials. A true walk-in shower that will fit two. A Stackable washer/dryer unit is hidden behind louvered doors for your convenience. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, plush white towels, hair dryer, iron, ironing board - it's all there for your benefit.
The second bedroom/den features a 42" flat-screen hi-def television with access to a dvd player, cable, HBO and Showtime. There is a glass shelved bar with everything you'll need to mix your favorite beverage. This space can be enjoyed as a second living area or easily closed off and converted into the second bedroom with the use of the sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress (this room also has it's own closet as well), guests can have their own bathroom and make use of the cream and blue talavera tiled full bathroom with walk-in shower and hand-pressed tin light fixture.
The house is equipped with a wireless internet cable modem for convenient access.

We loved this property & it suited us well. The only problem was a bad fall & sprained ankle caused by the double step in the master bedroom. The first step had orange tape on it, but the second one only had a small strip of printed tape, which made it difficult to see with no lights on. I also had my hands full of personal belongings, which made that step even more dangerous!

The house was great. The only surprise was that it was listed as a two bedroom, but the second bed was an uncomfortable pull out couch. Had I read all the way through the description I might have seen that and been able to make a different reservation. In any case it is a nice house and we enjoyed our stay.

Great camper drop-off stay at this home, which truly lives up to its San Miguel Allende/Marfa comparison. Loved that so much of the historic charm of the home has been preserved, and it was beautifully appointed with vintage MCM and fine art. Bedroom was very comfortable for a couple, and our 10 year-old slept well on the pullout sofa (the mattress topper was a huge plus). Great location for Kerrville with easy access to everything in town. Will definitely book again.

Overall our stay was wonderful. We loved the house and everything in it. It was charming, comfortable and a great location.
The only negative was the sheets on the fold out sofa bed were not clean. They were left on the pull out and all wadded up and soiled. So the first night of sleep on the sofa with just a comforter wasn't the best. But the next day we washed the sheets and we were good to go.
We had a great time exploring Kerrville and enjoyed our stay. Thank you

The house is in a great location. It’s the owners have it fully stocked with pretty much anything you may need. We brought our two pups and the yard is perfect for them to run around safely. There aren’t any traditional doors except for the bathrooms, just curtains so keep that in mind with who you’re planning on sharing the home with. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and are happy we found this gem!

We have stayed at this property many times- we have a big family that lives in the area and this is where we stay when we visit them! It is a great little sanctuary!
The home is extremely well appointed- both a coffee pot and Keurig in the kitchen- wine glasses, bar tools etc. the patio is a perfect place to have a drink or rest at the end of the day-
Furnishings and art are smartly appointed and comfortable but sophisticated with a good eye for design!
The Den is cozy you can pull out the sofa for an extra sleeping spot if you need it- TVs are good quality and you have cable or can sign in to your own streaming services-
Good linens and towels- king mattress is extremely comfy.
Each time we visit this home is in even better condition- paint is always fresh owner makes ongoing improvements-
Finally, you cannot beat the location - there is an Exxon near the house about 3 min away- a newish H‑E‑B grocery store about 5 min away- restaurants etc-
You can get to I-10 in about 10 min drive- there are also walking trails nearby- that are beautiful and take you for a stroll by the river!

It’s a very cute house, wonderfully appointed in a southwestern motif. Clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Micah was quick to respond when power went out, even though it was neighborhood-wide. He checked with the power company and kept us informed. This was the nicest of three we have rented in Kerrville, and definitely will be our choice going forward.

My husband and I stayed at this precious home for a long weekend. The house was clean and very comfortable for two. The home was spacious and we could have easily had some friends over, as there are two sitting areas, a large backyard and two bathrooms, so guests don’t need to use the master.
I will say that there aren’t permanent doors separating the bedroom from other spaces, so not much privacy to stay with another couple (or kids if that would bother you). This didn’t bother us, we just didn’t notice that in the photos / before we arrived.
Lastly, I am not a big coffee drinker, but the coffee they had available was delicious! Definitely try it out you stay there.

Adorable bungalow!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The neighborhood is quiet, and close to everything you would need. The huge backyard with lots of seating areas is a huge bonus! If you are looking for a true 2 bedroom this is not for you. There is one bed and the sofa in the den makes into a couch. It is separates from the hall and kitchen with curtains. Not a problem for us since we didn’t need the extra bedroom, just a heads up. We would happily rent this house again!
