About this apartment rental

No expenses were spared on this beautifully decorated suite! The City View, located in the famous Millwork District, sleeps 4 people. The unit is on the third floor and has a great view of the city. It is a contemporary styled unit with 2 bedrooms aand 2 full bathrooms. The master suite features a memory-foam king-size bed with a spacious en suite with a 5-foot walk-in tiled shower. The unit also has a ready to cook-in kitchen, a dining area, tv in each bedroom and a comfortable living room with a fireplace. The balcony has a private hot tub and outdoor seating.

We loved this property. Clean, nicely decorated, convenient parking, private 2nd floor deck with a hot tub!! Delicious meals at both Charlotte’s Coffee House and nearby 7Hills Brewing! Everything was awesome!

This is our 2nd time staying at one of the Drake House units. We love the location, ease of parking, cleanliness and of course the balcony/hot tub! And the first floor coffee shop is an extra bonus!

Location was great. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. Coffee shop in the same building was the cherry on top. The street noise is loud for light sleepers like myself (husband and mother-in-law were not bothered). However found ear plugs in a drawer and slept great the next nights!

I stayed here with my father for a weekend of antiquing. Check-in was a breeze and the unit was super clean and well decorated. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and the hot tub at night. Love that there was Netflix, we spent one evening watching shows and relaxing on the comfortable couch. The cookies were so good and the free coffee from Charlotte’s was such a perk. Nice location, felt very safe and quiet. Great stay, would definitely return!

This unit is by far one of my favorite VRBO stays ever. It is exactly as the pictures show...so warm and welcoming and comfortable. The unit has everything you need, in addition to the bonus of the deck hot tub and gas fire place. The location is excellent and the coffee shop on the main floor was lovely. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stayed here for my wedding weekend. Saturday morning we all got ready for the wedding, great space for getting hair and makeup done. Having Charolettes right there was a bonus. Perfect space and location. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a busy weekend.

The Drake House is perfect for two couples-so much so that we came back! The two bedrooms/two baths are the perfect set up for privacy. The common space is exactly as pictured-very nice kitchen and plenty of room to play cards or watch movies. The location is great-there's a lot of really good restaurants and breweries within walking distance. I'm sure we'll be back!

Great place to stay as a central hub for visiting area small towns. The hot tub is cleaned for each new occupant, which was great. The apt was so comfy we were happy to binge a couple of shows instead of heading out when the weather didn’t cooperate. You do have to travel up steep stairs, so keep that in mind when packing! Great location above coffee shop and near 7 Hills and other restaurants!

Had some trouble with the code to the door not working. Property owner got back to me right away. Only downside is parking on the weekend. We had trouble finding a spot when we first got there. Otherwise excellent location. No more than 3 adults in the hot tub- its on the small side. Overall, would recommend staying!

This was a great spot for a quick getaway. The space is very comfortable and has everything you need. The hot tub on the balcony was awesome and really nice to have after walking around all day. Being in the Millwork district for us was a lot of fun. Many places to visit within walking distance. Good food, breweries etc. Only thing that was tough for me was the noise and lighting from the street in the bedroom. I am a light sleeper so hearing the traffic and seeing the light through the blinds made it hard to sleep. Not a big enough deal to keep me from staying here again though. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The coffee house on the main level was also a great addition to staying here. Check in and out was super easy.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in City View. Such a pretty place with everything we needed. I loved the little window seat in the kitchen area and drank my coffee there in the AM. Beds were very comfortable. I think the only issue we had was the noise from traffic due to a busy intersection. We are both light sleepers so this was a problem. Otherwise we really did enjoy the accommodations. Coffee shop downstairs is delicious.

Nicely decorated, excellent location for downtown activities and Charlotte's coffee shop below was perfect for us! Highly recommend anyone to stay here... you won't be disappointed! (there were couple glitches that happens in any home, we told the owner and she was eager to get them fixed before next guests arrive) It did not hinder our stay or enjoyment at all. This is our 2nd stay at Drake House 🙂

The City View suite is a great rental for couples, two couples or family with cozy kitchen, dining & entertainment spaces. The hot tub & private deck are a real plus to enjoy. Located in the Mill District there's no need for a car to enjoy great dining & entertainment within walking distance. Jenn is a great host and very attentive to her guests.
