Want to go to Put In Bay and be in walking distance to the city beach, Jet Express, downtown , city park, Jolly Roger's and many other bars and restraunts.
Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. We pride ourselves in offering you better than hotel accomodations with luxory linen, pillows, towels etc. (All you need to bring is your clothes and some toiletries) you have come to the right place!
Fenced in private back yard. lots of space for your dogs or kids to roam. You have your own private entrance etc.
We also provide cornhole and a hammock .
We are a , short drive to wineries and Catawba Island, short drive to the Ferry (10 min) to Kelleys Island and 7 min to Marblehead. &10 min drive to Camp Perry and short drive to the best birding.
We also offer pet sitting at a minimal charge.
We welcome almost all dogs! SORRY NO CATS.
We do ask that you submit a description of your pet including breed and size for our approval first
When booking you are agreeing to understanding description . (Please read rental agreement.)
Inside:
*2 bdrm, fully furnished and ready for you to just bring your clothes.
Can sleep up to 6 people comfortably possibly more (extra charge per night for more than 4 adults)children age 12 and up are considered adults so please when booking put them in as such.
(NOTE: weekends are Friday to sunday)
We also provide some coffee pods, 2 rolls of paper towels and2 rolls of quality toilet paper to get you started
*Ceiling fans in the living room and 1st bedroom.
*All linens are provided as well as towels, washcloths etc. (just bring yourself and your clothes)
AC unit in main room keeps the entire living area cool
*hallway is considered a common area and may have some residual smoke from outside.

*Fenced in yard with patio set, pergola, fire place (both a gas firepit and a woodburning and we provide some wood.
Grill and blackstone griddle for your outdoor cooking and relaxing without the worry of the children getting out of your sight or your dog getting away from you.
This is a split home. you have the entire 1000 square feet at the rear of the house along with private back yard to yourself. (attached to our home)
unit has its own ventilation system seperate from the owners, seperate heat and window acs.
If super sensitive to smoke, please do not book. Though there's never been smoking in the unit there has been some in hallway in the past. Have had many people with allergies stay and have never had an issue)

My friend and I stayed two nights in this apartment behind the main house. We were there only at night to sleep. The place is clean and the beds are good! You need 2 door codes to enter, one off the drive that gives access to a large L shaped hall with 4 doors, one being the apt. I appreciated the k- cup machine and coffee. There is a strong air freshener smell and cigarette smell in the hallway and the first bedroom had a freshener odor which affected my sinuses. I mention this to those who are sensitive such as myself and why I could not give a 5. Rebecca works hard to give you a good stay which I appreciated.

This property is really cute and has all the essentials! The backyard had a good space for hanging out and a nice grill! The space was perfect for the small bachelorette party we were having. The hosts really went above and beyond, she was very communicative and took the time to show us around upon check in, she also left some adorable little extras for the bride to be which was much appreciated. I would absolutely stay here again! It was a great getaway and I felt I could be carefree and enjoy the weekend. I highly recommend!

Miss Rebecca was a fantastic host. She gave us dinner recommendations, showed us around the property, and communicated well throughout one stay. She even went a bought an iron for us because the one that was supposed to be there was gone. We give this property and it’s gracious hostess a high recommendation.

It was a short walk to the beach and a large playground/park, plus plenty of nearby restaurants. We arrived on the 4th of July and the host provided a basket of small poppers and novelties, which our 5 year old son really got a kick out of.

Rebecca was great in communicating. The location is what makes this place perfect. It is a half a block from the lake and a beautiful park. Downtown can be reached by a short drive. There is a market around the corner for groceries. It was quiet and comfortable. Rebecca provides several little extras that makes you feel more welcome. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Extremely nice couple who is helpful in any way. Communication was impeccable, warned us in advance about may flies and kept everything clean outdoors. Apartment was great and WELL stocked ,especially for those things you tend to forget at home. LOVED IT ! And would definitely stay again. They also welcomed our pet Precious. Giant plus ! Thanks for having us.

Rebecca made our stay in Port Clinton, very enjoyable. She had all the little extras that one might need away from home. The house is located just a short walk to the beach and a few restaurants! The kitchen was well stocked, if you wanted to prepare meals at the house. We really felt at home!! Thanks Rebecca and John!

The furniture inside was worn and broken. There was a funky smell in the unit and back yard was a cubicle and full of poop and needed mowed. They said they mowed couple days before but it looked it was a month ago. It's colder now grass isn't growing that fast even with the rain. The poop was thick and poop bucket was over full. No where to put it. No we didn't complain about it until she texted us on the way home. She didn't like what I said and she kept texting the whole way home. We live 3 hours away. Finally I told her to quit harassing us then I told her we'll have to block her if she doesn't stop. Finally she did. We won't be staying there anymore. She even threatened to tell you vrbo so that we will not be able to rent off of anyone else. We saved all of the text and we have pictures of the yard. We wasn't asking for money back and we wasn't going to give her a bad review until she kept making excuses. We even found a toilet brush and plunger on top of dish towels underneath the kitchen sink. We used vrbo in the past and enjoyed the experience. And will use it again but we will never stay or recommend her again. Thank you for your time.

For our needs this was near perfect.laat minute trip so tried a new place. THE GOOD Good location close to everything Great communication Great beds- SUPER comfort Clean Had everything we needed The candies and local wine were a nice touch THE BAD outside property, including entryway was a bit unkept. (Things lying in driveway and the like) Furnishings were dated (this was my largest concern. One chair was held together by zip ties and another has no cross bars- almost injured myself on it. The recliner didn't recline and handle broke when trying to. In both cases the owner hassled me after visit as if I was responsible) I've stayed in the area using the other short term rental service a ton. Due to last point I would not stay here again on future visits.

Me and my husband stayed over memorial weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The location was excellent and very close to all the main sights. The home was comfortable and had all essentials to make you feel right at home. The owners was nice and very accommodating. The house being conjoined did throw us off a bit but overall an excellent place to stay for vacation.

Hosts Rebecca and John are exceptional hosts. John helped us move luggage in! They were concerned about our comfort and enjoyment of our vacation. The 2 bedroom unit is cozy, walking distance to the lake and close to local attractions and restaurants.

This property was private and we had a unit all to ourselves on the back of the house. The unit was clean when we arrived. We were able to have our two dogs with us and that was great. Unfortunately, we had to cut our weekend short because our one dog became ill. The host was very understanding. She offered a discount on our next stay.

Great place for younger individuals, not so good for senior citizens. Place is actually only the back half of the homeowners home. It has a separate entrance from the driveway to a hallway. Doorway off the hallway into the back VRBO apartment does not lock and has a step to step down into the apartment which is a dangerous trip hazard for the elderly. Photos make the place look bigger than it is. Beds are very comfortable, but the living room furniture was not so comfortable and a bit too short for tall people. All in all highly recommend for younger people.

We stayed as a group to celebrate birthdays. It was a great place and a great location! We could walk to beach or to the free music festival downtown. Ferry to PUt N Bay was 15 minute drive- the cheaper ferry. I recommend this place!!

Great location, a walk to the park that has a variety of things for kids of all ages to do and the beach with a bathroom and rinse off showers. The rental was nice and cold, wonderfully decorated with the best owners! Feels so much safer for a mom and her children on their own than staying anywhere else.

This was our first time visiting the area and we had a blast! The place was so close to everything which made it easy to pack a lot of sightseeing into a long weekend. Rebecca and her husband were so helpful and there if you needed them! The place was clean and comfortable! The "extras" provided in this house were unbelievable - you could honestly just bring clothes and be set!

Rebecca was easy to get in contact with and the location of the property was amazing! We could walk to the beach everyday! However, the futon mattress were not comfortable and we had to buy an inflatable mattress for my children to sleep on. Overall a pleasant experience and would stay again.

First of all, I didn't feel the property was listed correctly online. It seemed like the pictures were from a few years ago. The first thing I noticed was the smell of smoke in the room. 10 minutes later we left the room as I was having trouble breathing. We left the room and found other lodging. I notified the owner and she stated it was a non smoking room and I must have reacted to cleaning chemicals. It Wasn't. It was smoke. We found other lodgings and notified owner we had left and the reason. She said it was a non smoking room and it was not smoke that caused me ton have trouble breathing. Unfortunately It was. She sent me a text stating from the VRBO rules that I was not eligible for a refund. It took a while for me to decide what I was going to say. In the end, after talking with others who use VRBO I felt I needed to be honest about our experience. We were lucky to find other lodgings.
