Great place to stay in Kaui. Centrally located for north, south and western visit the condo is also close to restaurants and a beach front Lava lava cafe. The view of the ocean from the living room and the lanai is magnificent. Roxanne was a great host and the check in check out procedure is very easy. No ac but the wind blowing from the ocean does the job so that we had good night sleep. Would recommend it.

The beauty of this condo and the association grounds are unbeatable! The condo is on a peaceful, calm cove - big enough to have space and enjoy the beach, waves, tide pool, and scenery but tucked away and quiet at the same time. The owner is very attentive and communicative, and was super accommodating to our needs. Thank you so much for everything and for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

Beautiful property with gorgeous views, BUT the unit we stayed in was so run down. Broken light fixture, rusted ceiling fan that clicks when on, mismatched furniture, old carpet that smelled terrible, etc. This place could be amazing if it just got some TLC. It was disappointing to see the units around us that were updated and had A/C and we were in a place with wall paper coming up at the seams, doors with the wood chipped off, old dirty balcony tiles, etc.
The new kitchen appliances were great for cooking. We appreciated the beach equipment and the books and games. Very friendly and attentive staff.
The trade winds weren't always enough to cool the place as advertised (this was early July). We didn't realize we were right next to the highway either (pics don't show that). That's your view at night, headlights from the highway and a huge crane that was there for construction, lots of sirens on the highway. The beds hurt our backs after a few nights and it made it tough to get good rest.
We would not stay in this unit again but we would stay in a different unit at Lae Nani. Just make sure your balcony is not facing the highway!

Location and views were so awesome! A block from restaurants and shopping. Property was very clean but VERY dated! Carpet needs replaced as was old and stained. Said there was a washer and dryer but closet was locked so our beach towels were always damp because of rain! Never been to a VRBO that didn’t let you use w/d!!

My family had an amazing stay! The location was absolutely amazing - walking a few steps to the beach, pool, and shops! The condo was equipped with beach/sun gear, fans, lanai, and wifi. This was a memorable trip for us and we still talk about it. The host was very communicative and kind. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the area of this condo as it allowed us to explore all of Kauai. For the price, you can’t beat it! We BBQ’d once down by the pool and made many trips next door to the restaurant on the beach. The beach outside this condo is great for small ones. My older son enjoyed this beach too and even had a sea turtle swim up to him! I think the reviews of the condo are accurate. It was clean and has a beautiful view of the ocean. This condo is not updated but it was more than adequate for the little time we spent indoors.

The view is unparalleled, size of the condo is roomy and comfortable. Both bedrooms have bathrooms attached. Next door Lava Lava is so convenient and the food is delish! We ate there 4 nights in a row, it’s right on the beach and live music! Location is central to driving North or South for the day. Coconut marketplace has a fabulous farmers market with fresh produce, honey, nuts, etc. Condo is slightly worn, such as carpet and scuffs on base cupboards, but is very clean and does not have any strange smells. Full size fridge and appliances. This is a third story, no elevator, which isn’t a problem for us, just an fyi. Makes for the best view! Large selection of chairs, snorkel gear, water shoes, umbrella, cooler, boogie board in the lanai closet for personal use, such a nice bonus. Can hear the waves crashing on the beach all night, a very quiet and safe vibe. Beautiful landscaping and huge pool, much bigger than the pictures appear. Highly recommend!

This was an excellent rental overall. We totally enjoyed our stay here. The apartment itself is a little dated but it was clean and functional for what we needed, and the balcony view was incredible. We ate all the meals we prepared there out on that balcony. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was in immaculate shape and the proximity to the beach was also great. The unit didn’t have a/c and I thought that would a problem at first, but there were always nice ocean breezes that we just let pass through by opening the slotted windows and it was actually quite comfortable, especially at night. It was also supplied with several fans for extra circulation. We would definitely stay here again. We thoroughly enjoyed our Kauai vacation!

The photos don’t do this place justice. Ocean views from the balcony and perfect location- 2 min walk to coconut grove market, 1 min walk to next door Lava Lava Beach Club, central drive to all things. The host was so attentive and this home is wonderful. Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, towels, water shoes and a boogie board all provided. Can’t say enough good things! This is a great place to stay in Kapaa. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The pool is right next to the beach. It is also conveniently located next to the Lava Lava Beach Club and adjacent to the Coconut Marketplace for dining and shopping opportunities. The condo is as pictured and has a nice balcony.

The view from this lanai is stunning! That in itself would be enough, but then add the beautiful beach right out front and the huge pool! Right next door to Lava Lava Beach Club and Coconut Marketplace, and centrally located on the Island for easy access up north to Anini Beach or West to Poipu and Spouting Horn. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a very lovely place to stay. The view was gorgeous. My only complaint was the lack of a few items in the kitchen. There was not one single spice (not even salt and pepper) nor was there anything to wrap food in such a plastic wrap, aluminum foil or baggies. It is hard to buy things like that for a one week stay. I guess I could have brought something from home but didn't expect to need it as other VRBO places I have stayed supplied these types of things. . We talked to other renters in the complex and they stated they had all kinds of spices, cooking supplies and food storage items. Other than that I have no complaints.

My group thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The view from the balcony is tough to beat, and the location is central to everything on the island. In town there are numerous great food places within a couple mile drive. Plus it’s right next door to a fresh malasadas place, fish taco place, and beachside restaurant/bar. The condo resort has easy access to a long walking path along the ocean, and it’s own nice little beach.
Inside the appliances and interior are a little dated, but everything is clean and the kitchen is well stocked to cook your own meals if you’d like. Beach chairs/towels, and snorkel gear available to borrow during your stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The condo overlooked the beautiful grounds, swimming pool and beach. We were just a short walk away to the restaurant at Kauai shores and also a short walk to a local grocery store and plaza with shops. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed and we even had beach chairs and a few snorkels. I can't wait to go back!

We have been coming to Lae Nani for many years but it was our first time in staying in this unit...and what a view! It was clean and spacious with nice modern furnishings in the living area. The kitchen was well stocked with blender, rice cooker, etc. We appreciated the number of beach items (umbrella, snorkel gear, chairs, cooler) that were available in the unit and we contributed some kids gear for future visitors to enjoy! The owner was easy to deal with and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this unit.

My wife, daughter, and I were delighted to stay at this condo in Wailua. The view from the living room and balcony is gorgeous. The property is next to beautiful and swimmable beaches, even fro smaller kids. It is within easy driving range to many restaurants and nature attractions. The unit is on the third floor and must be accessed via stairs, so be ready to go up and down stairs if you stay here. Overall, our stay here was a great experience!

The owner of this unit does not care about her guests' comfort. We occupied this Lae Nani condo for four weeks, so things we complained about, requested, or experienced during our stay, would either be ignored or not adequately addressed by the owner or management for typical five to seven day stays. Here is a list of our observations and frustrations, in no particular order of importance:
-The deadbolt is not functional, key pad entry only;
-Wallpaper peeling in dinning area;
-Fan in dinning area was not balanced, and wobbled dangerously on high. We asked the owner to send someone to balance it several times. Our concern was acknowledged each time, but without any action until our last week there.
The owner admitted the fan had to be replaced. Once the management got involved, the fan was replaced, but five days before the end of our four week stay;
-The carpet is heavily stained;
-Refrigerator often doesn't close completely. We were told that was a problem, but it should have been fixed. We were told to leave the settings at medium, but at that temperature, eggs froze;
-Walls, closet doors, and tile grout were dirty and scuffed. It looks like the doors, cabinets, and tile are all original (quite old);
-Chairs and beach towels old and substandard. Again, after the manage became involved, we were give a set of Tommy Bahama beach chairs which seemed to be a rental standard;
-Internet is sketchy at best. We rented another unit for my daughter and her family. The internet there worked fine. If you need a one bedroom and one and a half baths, the unit is exceptional, and the owners obviously care about their unit and their guests' comfort. The difference is dramatic;
-TV doesn't have network channels, or at least, I couldn't find them. Instructions were worthless, and I consider myself technologically adept. We signed into (and out of) premium apps for TV;
-The lighting in the first bedroom is very poor. The is no lamp on the right side of the bed. It was on the dresser with a very low watt bulb;
-The shower curtain in the first bath was mildewed.
-Very minimal welcome type of materials, compared with 124;
-Virtually no apparent upgrades.
-The "sharp" knives are all dull.
When I spend nearly $10,000 for a four week stay, I expect some modicum of quality and luxury. That expectation was not met.

Roxanne made checking in smooth and easy. The unit has absolutely spectacular views of the enormous pool and ocean. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room was comfy (the couch has been updated). Master bedroom bed was very comfy and if you leave the door open and the screen to the lanai it creates a wonderful cross breeze.
A short walk away is the Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant with live music every night and has great happy hour specials. A little further is lots of shopping and more great restaurants.
Overall we would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place to stay. Its centrally located on the island, with lots of shopping nearby. The actual property grounds are stunning with a nice warm pool with shade if you need and a great spot to enjoy the ocean right out front.
