Because my husband and I are not strong in the area of technology, we were a little stressed with having no contact from the host prior to our arrival. We came from Pennsylvania and was thankful everything worked out. We were disappointed that the location was so busy with local traffic (not related to the fire situation in the area).

This was an awesome cabin, the porch with the creek so close is fantastic, host was so nice and so helpful. We cant wait to stay again!!!! I would give more stars if i could, everything about this place was perfect.

The pans are pretty worn, we stayed 4 days with 5 adults and had 2 small garbage bags. There were only 4 towels with no laundry on site. BBQ in the photo is a nice stainless unit but the one there was a worn out walmart cheapy. There was no propane and only one thing of paper towels. The beds were comfortable but there is a bit of a rodent problem. Mouse poo and poison in cabinets. Make sure to wash dishes before and after cooking. Take extra towels for bosies and kitchen. Overall good value just not five star accommodations and the cameras on the property make you think youre being watched.

It was in an adorable little neighborhood nestled in the trees. 15 minute drive from the lakeside. Pleasantly quiet. The creek was gorgeous. We loved it. Was a perfect little escape from the hustle and bustle of City Life.

Quite and cozy cabin. Close to boat launch.

fun place to unplug

This property is in need of maintenance and cleaning. There were dirty and broken dishes in the kitchen, rodent droppings in kitchen cabinet drawer, kitchen cabinet hinges coming off, missing light bulbs in fixtures. The only table had a broken leg making it very un stable . . . .
TOO MANY PILLOWS. There were 6 pillows on each bed and no where to put them. There were at least six pillows on the couch and in each of the 2 chairs. You had to move the pillows to even have a place to sit and again no where to put them. There are no closets or any place to hang clothing so you are living out of your suitcase on the floor.

From the quaint cabin in the woods to the foggy sunrises on the fields as you head into town for a cup of coffee, this trip was heaven. Minor annoyance when we arrived due to some foul smelling cleaning material used before our arrival. The owner responded to my bringing this issue up with haste and care. The Internet was perfectly strong for those who needed it and everything we needed was provided. On top of all that the price was unbeaten. Amazing!

Thanks for a perfect fishing cabin getaway!

The property was cozy, 2 bedroom with an open kitchen and living area. Firewood was stocked, the grill was available and it was a short drive to the lake for ice fishing. It is about 20 minutes to town where there is groceries, restaurants, etc.

This cabin was perfect for a long weekend get away. Close to a snow access for ice fishing. Very cozy and clean. Will definitely be back.

A very quiet and peaceful place. We especially liked the deck for playing games and talking.
Very reasonable price.

The cabin was nice but needed a good cleaning. Musty smell in bathroom. Dirty rug in bath, and bedrooms . Mattress pads need to be replaced, along with mattress. It smelled of Moth balls strong enough for us to leave a day early . I had to clean up dog doo I found when I moved the couch in living room.

Quaint little cottage. Enjoyed our stay. Would’ve enjoyed being able to see the creek that is overgrown with brush. The refrigerator/freezer was dirty but other than that it’s a great place to stay. Loved it!

We had 2 pickups with boats, an extra vehicle. Because it was so close to a boat launch we went out after dinner. The extra large covered patio outside was awesome. When we were not fishing this is where we spent our time. Enjoying the mountains, the sound of the creek, again just perfect.

Everything was amazing!

This cabin was very clean and easy to find we especially enjoyed the large deck and the fire ring. We purchased fire wood from a near by cabin for 5.00 a bundle. We had to fill the propane take for the bbq as it was empty, but I guess that’s just paying it forward. The BBQ grill after cleaning it was a bit rusty so we used our camping skillet to compromise worked for us. The weather was perfect a little rain which held down the dust. Breathing in the fresh air was amazing.

Beautiful snowy getaway. We enjoyed the walks down to the lake and coming back to a roaring fire! The beds were so comfy too.

The host was wonderful and the setting was beautiful. The creek is very close so that you can hear it from the house! We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at this property. Good location to Tamarack and Cascade. We'd recommend this property to any small group. One suggestion would be to maybe have a few more games available.

1st trip to Cascade
A true mountain side cabin, loved our stay and location. Only wished the grill had propane, had minimal choices for eats in town.

Cabin
was very good. Traffic was a bit much. If it wasn't over a holiday would have been perfect

We met our pregnant oldest daughter and her husband for the weekend. It rained most of the time there. We did get to have s'mores in the fire pit and soaked our feet in the freezing creek. We cooked in the kitchen and played cards at the table. The house was located halfway between the town of cascade and the ski resort that we planned our adventure around. We would love to rent this cute house again!

The cottage is not real big but it had everything we needed. It was comfortable and we loved the sound of the creek that runs right next to the cabin and firepit. One thing to note is that the bathroom, especially the shower, is very small so it would not be ideal for someone who is big and tall. Overall, a cute little mountain cottage.
