Find your Zen! The perfect combination of relaxation and coastal air awaits you at Land Zen, a beachfront vacation rental located in the gated community on Destin Pointe. This five bedroom, four bathroom home can accommodate up to 14 lucky guests.
The first story of the home hosts a bedroom with two twin beds and a set of sliding glass doors which lead out to a covered deck. This deck includes an abundance of patio furniture, a grilling area, and a flat screen TV for viewing pleasure. The beach fun begins on the second level of this large rental home. The open floorplan on this level pulls the living, kitchen, and dining areas together seamlessly. In the living room, a comfortable seating ensemble is comprised of a couch that doubles as a sleeper sofa and two accent chairs that face the TV for entertainment. Glass doors allow the Florida sun to filter indoors, providing a light and cozy atmosphere. Step through the glass doors onto the gulf front balcony. Here, you can take in the beautiful views, listen to the soothing waves, and sip your favorite vacation drink. Back inside, the dining room includes a round table with seating for six, and additional stools are seated at the nearby kitchen bar. A large king-size bedroom is also on this level with access to a full bathroom.
Climb the steps to the third floor, where the master bedroom and remaining guest rooms are located. The master suite boasts a king-size bed, access to a beachfront deck, and an en-suite bath. One guest room includes a king-size bed, while the other features a twin over queen bunk bed with a queen size trundle underneath.
Because of its great location in Destin Pointe, guests have immediate access to the pristine Gulf shoreline, two community pools, a clubhouse, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, and more. During the summer and on holidays, Harborwalk Village sets off firework displays that can be seen from Destin Pointe, as well. Enjoy the beach, the fireworks, and the amazing amenities that are offered to guests, but don’t forget to check out nearby restaurants, bars, shops and boutiques, and art galleries to round out your trip!

🔹Beach front and beautiful view of the gorgeous Emerald Coast

That’s the positive points of this house - Land Zen.
♦️Stairs leading to the main entrance -dyer need of repair.
♦️Master Bath & shower were dirty & MOLD growing in the shower - nasty!
♦️Horrible window blinds - many throughout the house are either broken /missing from the windows. Many are temporary paper shades!
♦️Kitchen basically unusable. Kitchen faucet broken - maintenance had to replace! Exhaust fan over stove doesn’t work properly and sets off smoke alarm every time you cook! Kitchen has subpar cookware, utensils, etc…and missing many basic pieces!
♦️AC doesn’t cool some bedrooms very well!
♦️Guest bedroom upstairs- bathroom door broken and falling off the wall.
♦️Guest bedroom downstairs- BED is falling apart!
Really?? Ridiculous!!!
♦️ALL TVs throughout the house are horribly installed and VERY small!
♦️Furnishings are very worn and need updating!
♦️Beach service included- for only 2 people and for a house that’s sleeps many … your rental should include 2-3 umbrellas & more chairs!
The maintenance company for Lands Zen did their best to help us. But most of these items they have reported to the owners - but they have not chosen to repair, replace or update!! Vacation Families BEWARE! There has to be better quality rentals for a week at the Emerald Coast

The proximity to the beach, the house in general was ideal for our group. A few minor issues with super fast responses/repairs all made for the vacation we’d been hoping for. Not enough bedrooms or hot water but thats my fault - it was as advertised. Would definitely recommend and will look for another a little bigger, a little more lux in the same neighborhood next time.

Pros:
Location is great. Thurs night fireworks can be seen from back balcony. The a/c was good. Walk to beach is convenient enough even though you have to use the common beach access walkway. Lots of activity in front of house from all the boat traffic. A Chair and umbrella set up was provided.
Cons:
Bathroom pocket door is broken, 2 of 4 showers don't stay hot, and furniture shows aging. Knives are very full and no corkscrew. . A house this size should provide more umbrella sets. I bought 2 additional ones for $300 a week each.
Some shades are in need of repair.
There's also can light fixtures hanging from the ceiling that could be put back into position. Lots of mold around light sockets and a/c registers.
For the price paid, I expected higher quality. Renters have heavily used this home. We made it work as the location was great!
It would also be nice if house had an ice maker.

Fantastic location. House right on beach and next to neighborhood pool. Could tell some of the renters had been hard on the property (broken doors, window shades), but overall property was well represented in pictures. We easily fit 10 people 14+ in age. Very nice washer/drier. There were some stains on pillow cases and towels, but we also brought our own. Recommend for fantastic location and views, ease to beach access and pool access. Would stay here again.

This home was beautiful and clean. Love the tall ceilings, lots of lighting with dimmers. Great neighborhood and loved the security, the frequent trash pick up with no trash truck noise. The beach service chairs and umbrella is a great plus. (I didn't think it would be, but after carrying chairs, toys, towels, lotion, cooler a couple of trips, it soon became a very welcome addition.) Every call I made to Ocean Reef was answered or a quick return call. One call to get in the home as they text and said it was ready early. No need to book a dolphin cruise as they all come out of the bay and park right out from the house. We saw pods of dolphins all week. Only problem was... it was too short of a stay. Six or sixteen it's never enough beach house time, am I right?

Pics are amazing - house is right on the beach but the bathrooms need an upgrade - indoors needs a coat of paint - kitchen and dishwasher and washer dryer are newer and worked well. No hand soap - dishwasher soap - detergent - i don't expect a weeks worth but there was not even a salt and pepper shaker. Bikes didn't function but they were quickly replaced - def a positive there. Living room chairs and couch are old and tattered - master bed squeaked every time you even walked near it. Televisions in each room but are also dated. Right on the beach with easy access but house did not meet expectations for the price point.

Facility size, location, community amenities, beach access were all very good and the weather cooperated. Unfortunately we felt property quality due to mediocre maintenance and run down decor were not what we’d expect for the $$$. The kitchen sink fixture was damaged, a bathroom towel rack ready to fall off the wall, a few recessed lights flickered, main room fan was quite loud even after repairman checked it, king bed while comfy made loud squeaks/creaks when we moved, bathroom drawers were in bad repair, etc. we had no hot water on day of arrival, when repairman showed up next day afternoon we learned the tankless heater was switched off! The dishwasher cycle was over 4 hours!! I think we’ll look elsewhere next time.

We stayed at this wonderful property the week before Christmas!
Everything was great! The weather was better then it was back at home, so even thou it was 60s to low 70s, it was beautiful. We were able to spend time on the beautiful beach, and the balconies were perfect for the amazing views!
We were so close to so much to do, even made Christmas cookies!

I must say that my wife and I are 71 and 68, so the 2 sets of steps were a challenge. It is a shotgun house layout to maximize space, but with no elevator, MOST bedrooms and baths required TWO sets of steps. Decor was apropos beachy. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with things. Maintenance did show up after a couple of days to secure a patio door that blew open routinely when the entry door was open...those double doors (to the patio/porch deck) had been faulty for quite some time.

Very nice location. The house is nice and nicely laid out. It is a clean house but does have a couple issues of banged up walls and the locks on the doors are very corroded from the salt water and hard to use. The biggest issue that was not big is there was some debri that needed to be cleaned up in the dune.

Fix the small things
Overall, is this. Fix the small things, like switches not working, or door handles being so loose, it comes off when we try to get back in from a balcony door, and get locked out. A/C should be able to be put down lower than 72 degrees. That was actually a BIG thing that annoyed me. I like a cold house, and if I want my vacation home to reflect my comfort, I should be able to put the A/C down to at least 70 degrees. No family/group etc, should have to be "okay" with maintenance being done in or around their vacation home. Pressure washing, painting, changing out light bulbs, that should all be done in the off season, or maybe when the actual owners are staying in the home. But not vacationers who are paying close to $2,000 per night to have a relaxing, comfortable, once a year family vacation.

This house and location was beyond! We were right on the water and just steps from the beach. The house had 4 bedrooms with their own bathrooms. It worked perfect for our families. The neighborhood was beautiful. A tram takes you around if you like. We hitched a ride to the heated pool. Just a perfect location. Would stay here every time if we could.

Land Zen is the place to NamaStay!
Land Zen is a beautiful beachfront property with stunning views sunrise to sunset! There are furnished ocean view decks on the second and third levels, a gorgeous furnished patio with grill on the ground floor level, and private decks off all of the bedrooms for reading and lounging. Every bedroom has its own full bath, and three of the bedrooms have king size beds! The kitchen is gourmet all the way ... you will be inspired to cook fabulous meals to enjoy inside around a huge dining table or al fresco. The decor is lovely and beachy, and there is plenty of room to spread out. We arrived to a broken Keurig and blender, however, within an hour of notifying the management we were given brand new replacements! Anything that came up was addressed promptly and professionally. The only thing that wasn't resolved while we were there was a rogue smoke detector on the main floor that set off every time we used the stove ... the vent was apparently not working efficiently so we cooked with the windows open. We notified maintenance and are hopeful the issue has been corrected for future guests. The neighborhood is beautiful and gated, there are two different pool areas to enjoy, two tennis courts (with lights for nighttime play), 4 bikes to ride, and never ending beach to walk and revel in. This is a dream home you won't want to leave!

Great house, great location!
Our family (total of 9 people) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Land Zen. The house exceeded our expectations and allowed for plenty of room for our group. We were very happy with the location. We come to Destin to enjoy the beach and don't like big crowds on the beach where you have to fight for position. The beach service was great and the beach was far less crowded than most in the area. I would highly recommend Land Zen. You will not be disappointed.

Great new house with clean design and thoughtful touches everywhere. Our family stayed here mid-Feb when beaches were nearly deserted; the location of this house we loved, tucked away from the high rises and shopping malls. Hats off to the house owners and rental company (Ocean Reef) as every description was accurate and response time to questions was immediate. We experienced small maintenance issues that were immediately fixed within hours by professionals. The design of this house is impressively centered around the views, with tons of windows and multiple balconies with postcard gulf front vistas. Kitchen was very well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Everything in the house is quite new and sparkling clean. We would certainly return to this house.

Beautiful newly remodeled home. Very comfortable.
The home was gorgeous.
Great location. The convenience of having the boardwalk right next to the home was awesome. We felt very safe and enjoyed walks in the small community.
The only complaint would be it was lacking some things we needed in the kitchen for cooking.
