About this house rental
**Officially Licensed Vacation Rental**
First, an important message regarding our cleaning policy during these times of heightened awareness for health and safety:
Our bungalow has already established a stellar 5-year reputation for cleanliness, as we take pride in our high standard of providing a fresh and clean vacation home for our guests! Considering the virus concerns that are at the forefront of our daily lives, we have elevated our cleaning standard to closely follow guidelines set forth by EcoLab, a highly regarded company that provides CDC-recommended cleaning protocols to major hotel chains and others in the hospitality industry. If you have any questions, please let us know, and thank you for considering our vacation property.
Welcome to the Liberty Bungalow! We are proud to present our lovely, comfortable, and well-appointed vacation rental, right in downtown Walla Walla.
THE ROOMS…
One of our goals for creating a unique vacation rental was to offer a variety of experiences within the rooms of the home. We converted the lion’s share of the garage into a home theater complete with a 70” TV, recliners, indirect lighting, hundreds of DVDs and an excellent surround sound system. We paid special attention to acoustics and sound insulation (there’s even an insulated exterior-grade door) so the theater wouldn’t disturb the rest of the house.
We wanted to make the living room a fresh and inviting space perfect for relaxation. We chose colors and materials that are vibrant yet serene. There are comfy ergonomic chairs and a huge picture window for occasional people-watching, and a desk and computer (another source for streaming music or movies, if desired).
Around the corner from the living room is our lovely kitchen and dining area. We built in separate space for coffee, tea, and wine – you can spend a morning watching birds out the back window, in the shadow of the Marcus Whitman Hotel. The full-scale kitchen makes you feel right at home with all the amenities you need to dine in.
A bright and cheerful hallway entices with a huge historic map of Walla Walla and interesting memorabilia – see how many historic places you can find just mere blocks away.
At the end of our “historic hallway” is the master bedroom, which offers a warm and inviting array of colors and materials, including a comfortable Queen bed and cozy chair and ottoman. The master bedroom has a 32” TV with cable, and a smart blu-ray DVD player as well. And there’s plenty of storage with the built-in closet and drawers.
We’ve named the second bedroom the “Library” because it features fully-stocked bookshelves (as well as many board games), and because it offers you yet another unique atmosphere. The built-in headboard anchors the generous Queen bed, while a quaint reading chair and lots of mood-lighting are perfect for a pleasant afternoon with a good book.
The bathroom features fresh soft towels, a full tub/shower combo with new fixtures, and a dual-flush toilet! We’ve designed the bathroom to be bright and airy, with a large glass-block window that shines on a vivid color palette and a shiny white shower surround.
THE EXPERIENCE...
There are so many ways to revel in your stay at the Liberty Bungalow. Start your day with a cup of coffee in the bamboo-fenced backyard. Then hit the town (on foot!) for brunch at Bacon and Eggs (for the savory lovers) or Maple Counter Café (for the huge waffle breakfast lovers). Check out the local merchants like Main Street Furniture Company or Book & Game – from spring to late summer, wander over to the popular Farmers’ Market on 4th and Main. Come back and fire up the backyard BBQ! There’s plenty of room to enjoy a meal outside, or in the kitchen dining area, or even in the theater (TV trays and all!). Later, you can kick back with a bottle of wine and enjoy a high-def movie in a movie theater-like setting, or curl up with a good book and cup of tea, or just relax in the living room.
Or…hit the town again (on foot!), and check out the pubs and wine-tasting rooms, or grab an ice cream cone at Bright’s on Main, or a coffee and dessert from the Colville Street Patisserie (amazing), right on the same street as the Liberty Bungalow.
THE TOWN…
As most people now know, Walla Walla is a wine destination. We love wine, too! And you couldn’t rent a vacation home closer to the myriad downtown tasting rooms than the Liberty Bungalow! Our in-wall wine rack is stocked with a complimentary bottle of local wine for your enjoyment. We are also coffee lovers, and we proudly furnish the Liberty Bungalow with our favorite coffee, freshly roasted at the Walla Walla Roastery – aptly- named the “Liberty Blend.”
A piece of Walla Walla history is just across the street, at the Kirkman House Museum, a lovingly restored 1880 home of a prominent local family. A block or two away is Whitehouse-Crawford (once a planning mill and furniture company, now a luxury restaurant) as well as the tallest building in town: the Marcus Whitman Hotel. The rest of downtown holds far too many fascinating buildings and stories to list here…luckily, you’re within walking distance of it all! A short drive puts you at Fort Walla Walla Museum, another goldmine of information about the Walla Walla Valley’s heritage and its people.
Beyond downtown, there are plenty of adventures for wine lovers (over 100 wineries call Walla Walla home) and history lovers alike, including nearby historic towns of Dayton, Waitsburg, and Milton-Freewater. Enjoy exceptional golf at Veteran’s Memorial Golf Course (less than a mile away) and Wine Valley Golf Course (about 10 minutes away).
Walla Walla is host to many art experiences all year long, from ever-changing local art on display, to top-notch plays and exceptional music – the Walla Walla Symphony is the longest continually operating symphony west of the Mississippi!

I booked this property for my mom and I to stay in for a quick weekend trip to go wine tasting in Walla Walla. It was a perfect home base for us. Very cozy and an easy walk to town for meals. The theater was a nice touch and made for a perfect setting for us to watch the football that weekend. The owners were quick to respond whenever we any questions or issues. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay for a long weekend in Walla Walla. Easy walk to downtown venues and far enough away to be quiet at night. Our second time staying at Liberty Bungalow and will try to reserve again next time we head to Walla Walla.

A lovely freshened up in-town home. Very clean. Loved the private backyard. This is one of those great rentals that go above and beyond to provide all the ‘little things’ that really add up- laundry soap, shampoo & conditioner, well-stocked kitchen tools and seasonings, coffee, wine. A/C Ran cold and strong as we had daily temps in the 90s. I would definitely stay here again.

Great space for a long weekend in Walla Walla. Easy two blocks to Main St but quiet at night. Loved the movie room and the impressive organization of the available movies! We would love to stay here again in the future.

My favorite part of this place was the backyard in the evening. Although it is surrounded by businesses, it is extremely private and relaxing. Inside, the theatre room is awesome - especially the way the entrance to the room is patterned after the real Liberty Theatre.
If you want to do wine tasting downtown, there is no need for a car because all of the tasting rooms are within a couple of blocks. We will definitely return!

Exactly what we needed
Great little house for our graduation weekend visit. Very clean, check in was a breeze, and the check-out instructions were crystal clear. The kitchen was extremely well equipped which was perfect since were able to prep a lot of food for a BBQ without being underfoot at our daughter’s house. 😆 Walkability was amazing for town and college, all in all it couldn’t have been better!

Clean, tidy, great location!
Cozy, very clean, well stocked. Watched movies in the theater room, that was a bonus! Location was great, walked to dinner at the Walla Walla Cattle Co. and downtown. Safeway right around the corner for our morning Starbucks. We felt very comfortable staying here and recommend the Liberty Bungalow!

Cute and Clean Walla Walla Bugalow
Great spot for the two of us with easy access to downtown Walla Walla. This was our first trip away from home since COVID hit the area in March. Place was very clean and we felt very much at home. Overall community is following state health guidelines which increased our comfort level. We will definitely stay here again next time we return to Walla Walla.

Best place to stay in Walla Walla
This house is so well done and comfortable plus the location is perfect. We are a couple and stayed in the Liberty Bungalow for 5 nights. The communication with the owners before and during our stay was excellent. They are very responsive. The house is well equipped. We loved the media room for Sunday football and movies.
We have rented over 50 properties in the US and Europe. This is one of the nicest we have stayed in. We definitely recommend you stay here and we certainly will if we return to this area.
For restaurants we recommend Andrea's Kitchen, Saffron, Sweet Basil and Yamas.

Well-stocked Walla Walla Getaway
My husband and son stayed in this two-bedroom home for a father/son time together. They highly praised the house. It's comfortable, with every bit of its design and amenities carefully thought through to serve as a successful and efficient Vrbo. During their stay a minor issue with the house resulted in one of the owners coming over to take care of the problem. He was readily available and gracious, even leaving behind some goodies and a note that he was sorry for the inconvenience. This gesture is an example of the extra mile owners Corey and Brandon have gone to make their guests comfortable. We recommend this home.

Cute cottage a short walk to downtown
This property had everything you could want for your trip to Walla Walla. The house has one of the best equipped kitchens I’ve experienced at a Walla Walla VRBO. Also had comfortable bedding and towels. The house was comfortable and well decorated and the theater room was an added bonus. Also loved the proximity to Main Street with all the tasting rooms and restaurants as well as being a short walk to the grocery store. We stayed here for four nights while visiting Whitman College and would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic House, Great Location, Wonderful Hosts
Stayed here with a group of 5 girls for a wine tasting weekend and had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic, so close to downtown it only takes a couple minutes to walk to restaurants and entertainment. The hosts have truly thought of everything and were so easy to work with. Especially enjoyed the theatre room, kitchen, and outdoor area where we had a beautiful brunch. Comfortable enough for 5 people, clean, updated. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great couples weekend or girls trip.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
We stayed at the bungalow for a fun couple’s wine weekend getaway with our close friends. The location could not be beat as we were only two blocks from tasting rooms, restaurants, and all of downtown’s shops. The house itself was the perfect size and very clean. The A.C. was clutch and provided a much needed sanctuary from the 98+ heat. Check in/out was the simplest I’ve had. Thank you for the great stay!

Lovingly decorated, charming place that feels like home
We absolutely loved our stay! The Liberty Bungalow has all the right touches from the peaceful little backyard perfect for a BBQ to the very comfortable living room where we all gathered in the evening to chat. My husband was thrilled by the “coffee corner” and we loved that everything we needed in the kitchen was there. And the towels are soft and fluffy! Corey and Brandon clearly spent a lot of time and effort to ensure their guests are comfortable. Truly one of our best VRBO stays ever. Thank you making our graduation weekend wonderful!
