Casa su Lago is an exquisite mountain home with exceptional features; beautiful master suite with king size bed and large private bath, two additional bedrooms, full bath in the hall, super nice kitchen with solid surface counters, comfortable living and dining room with high ceilings and awesome 3-sided fireplace. Lower level has a 4th bedroom, full bath and a super fun game room. The lovely home has internet access (not suitable for streaming or downloads), resort amenities, close proximity to additional activities, and much more! The views from the back deck and back screened porch are beautiful with the bald mountains in the distance. You will can enjoy this home in any season! HAS BOTH A KEURIG AND DRIP COFFEE MAKER.

NC VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS
First, be aware that the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act provides you with certain rights and protections. Second, we would like to make you aware of a few local regulations designed to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum occupancy limit for this home is 10 persons. You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages.
DESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. There is parking for 3-4 vehicles at this property. No RV's trailers, campers, or oversized vehicles of any kind.
ACCESS: You will receive directions and access information once we have received a signed rental agreement securing reservation (this agreement will be sent to you for electronic signature) you will also need to provide a copy of your government issued ID to our company with current mailing address and contact information along with vehicle registration of each vehicle that will be at the home during your stay. You will be emailed check-in instructions 24 hours prior to arrival provided you have signed your electronic rental agreement and sent in a copy of your photo ID and vehicle information. If you go to a property prior to approval from our office before check in time you will be accessed an early check-in fee $50.
TRASH DISPOSAL: All household waste & trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids) when available unless advised otherwise due to increased bear activity.
MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in. If you are not 25, you will NOT be allowed to check in and no refund will be provided.
NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, graduation parties, or ANY similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works very closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes, and report to us any occupancy violations. Any violation of this rule mandates you immediately vacate home without refund, regardless of the remaining duration of your reservation.
FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief.
LAKE LEVELS: Lake water levels cannot be guaranteed. The Town of Lake Lure may lower the lake below full pond seasonally for dam repairs, sewer upkeep, silt removal, and to allow homeowners the ability to make repairs to docks and sea walls. Periodic lowering might also happen because of flood warnings, heavy rain, or other emergencies observed by the Town. In all these circumstances, the Town of Lake Lure reserves the right to limit use of boats, kayaks, canoes, or other watercraft at any time as it deems necessary.
LAKE ACTIVITIES: Swimming: Do not swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat.
FISHING: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply.
BOATING: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina.
PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing - Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited.
NO SMOKING: Smoking, Vaping and Electronic cigarettes are prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be assessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking and/or vaping in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door, do not stand near open doors or windows allowing smoke to enter the home while smoking on property. Please make sure butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground (including the fire pit) or bring them into the home. If there is any tobacco smell in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $500 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not permitted due to the long-lasting odor. If these policies are violated, there will be a charge for excessive cleaning.
NOISE: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10 p.m. and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake.
UNRULY BEHAVIOR: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced.
SECURITY CAMERA LOCATIONS: Please be advised our homes have forward facing entry area security cameras. We monitor for non-reported pets, over occupancy and number of vehicles.
PETS/ANIMALS: DOG FRIENDLY HOMES: This is a Dog friendly home there will be additional non-refundable pet fee listed. CATS ARE NOT ALLOWED 2-Adult Dogs are allowed with additional nonrefundable pet fee of $60-$120. Dogs must not be left unattended or must be crated if left at home. Dogs are NOT allowed on the furniture; we ask that you please always pick up after your dogs and be mindful of the neighbors and keep your dogs on a leash.
RENTAL AGREEMENT AND TOTAL BALANCE: You will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement before your reservation is secured. Failure to sign rental agreement with-in 72 hours of booking, will result in cancellation of reservation and forfeiture of deposit. Any monies received by Mr Lake Lure Vacation Rentals for occupancy of vacation property indicated the acceptance of the terms of our vacation rental agreement in full. Your total amount listed on the Mr Lake Lure® Vacation Rental Agreement may be different than the amount paid to the 3rd party site you book through. All third-party sites charge differing amounts as service fees to guests for using their services. We have no control over those fees and do not collect them.
Please read your vacation rental agreement carefully before you begin your vacation. All policies are strictly enforced. It is the responsibility of all guests and members of their party to be familiar with all policies pertaining to rental.
ALL PROPERTIES OFFER AN INITIAL SUPPLY OF THE FOLLOWING AMENITIES:
Including, but not limited to: bed linens and bath towels (2 bath towels and 2 washcloths per Guest, 2 hand towels per bathroom sink), dishwasher detergent (2 loads) and dishwashing soap, new sponge, laundry detergent (2 loads), hand soap, (1 set per bathroom sink, including hotel size: 1 bar of soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner and 1 lotion), paper towels (1 roll), toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), and garbage bags (2 kitchen bags, plus 2 black bags). If you don't feel this will be adequate for your stay, you will want to stop and pick up more on your way. All properties provide fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, including coffee makers as well as some cooking utensils. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the Property Owner and are not accessible to Guest. Rearranging furniture or removing any items from the Property is prohibited.

CHECK OUT: 10:00 a.m. local time (or earlier) NO EXCEPTIONS. Housekeeping will arrive very shortly after 10:00 a.m. to prepare the home for the next Guest. Late check-outs will be charged the applicable daily rate or $50 per hour, whichever is greater to the credit card on file if the home has not been vacated by 1:00 pm
*** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. If you don't feel this will be adequate for your stay, you will want to stop and pick up more on your way. All properties provide fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, including coffee makers as well as some cooking utensils. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the Property Owner and are not accessible to Guest. Rearranging furniture or removing any items from the Property is prohibited.

*** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. We loved our stay! It was a great location and we loved being within the resort. Renting golf carts was the best decision… we could easily travel from the house to anywhere within the resort with ease. We would stay here again!

Needed to find a place to stay for a quick family vacation last minute. This was just the right fit. Grandparents came plus 3 kids 4 and under. The house had the perfect setup for us and we would definitely come back. The pool at the resort was a big hit and the staff was friendly. The checkin process and communication from the management company was excellent. The check out process was simple and helped alleviate any stress getting packed up and out the door. The beds were comfortable and the layout worked great for young kids. We would definitely recommend this place to friends/family.
The two bedrooms upstairs had a skylight window that was nice, but if you have young kids and need a room pitch black you may want to keep that in mind.

The property was clean and well stocked. Check in was a breeze and had good communication with property manager. Wi-Fi can be a little tricky with several people on, but if you plug in directly to the router, connection is fine for work.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Su Lago! This beautiful home has all the amenities. We spent a long weekend with our 3 grown children and their partners. We enjoyed the game room- the upstairs had plenty of space for games, watching sports, cooking and hanging out! The back deck and the screened in porch had wonderful views for our coffee in the morning and a drink and card games in the afternoon.
This property is on a resort - the reservation process was quite extensive compared to other VRBO properties (just so you know in advance)
The resort offers several amenities in addition to being a short drive away from restaurants, hiking and shops in Chimney Rock. We love lake lure and will stay here again.

We spent the weekend here for a wedding at rumbling bald resort, and this was a quick 5 minute drive from the lake. It was clean and spacious with plenty of room for our family. It did have some windy roads so we recommend getting there in the daylight.

Our group of 6 friends thoroughly enjoyed our Labor Day getaway at Casa Su Lago. The house was well stocked including a kitchen with everything we needed to make great meals and an awesome game selection. We enjoyed playing in the game room and relaxing in the screened in patio a lot. Super comfy beds! We loved the amenities of the resort and spent a lot of time at the Bald Resort beach. It was truly a vacation to remember and we hope to return again!

Rumbling Bald Resort has all the amenities needed for a cross country family getaway. Casa Su Lago is conveniently located and is well appointed for fun for all ages. Stayed with the family over the Christmas weekend. We had a nice relaxing time. Was nice and cozy. Would recommend bringing any special cooking needs you have like crockpot, cupcake tin, instapot, etc. For basics you are good to go though. We had a great time and loved the house. The area is great and we have come back many of times.

Beautiful home and location! Prior to arrival I asked permission for an hour early checkin due to the check in being at 4 and we had a family wedding rehearsal dinner at the resort at 5. Management approved it last minute and then charged my card a $50 charge without telling me. Once I called to ask about the charge, they said it was for the early check in. No where in our paperwork was I able to locate anything about a charge for an hour. Upon arrival, there were a few small damages to the house, but nothing terrible or that disrupted our stay. The home was beautiful, spacious and clean. The online listing is completely accurate and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Property was great. Loved the screened porch! Also loved the amenities the neighborhood offered. We played mini golf, went swimming in the pool and got to see a fireworks show…. all included with the neighborhod. Great place to stay!

Peace and Quiet
The property was nice and large, plenty of room for three generations. The kitchen was stocked with lots of cookware, dishes, utensils and implements. Our favorite spot was the screened porch. It was very pleasant. We had lots of nice space.
Believe Mr. Lake Lure when they advise you to call them for directions. Mapping it in print was of no use for us, but luckily our GPS came through.

Faith, Family, and Fishing!
This was a beautiful, spacious home nestled in the hills and trees. It was the perfect place to gather with our family from around the country (w/3 adult kids), unplug, and enjoy God’s creation together.
The house was equipped with everything we needed and was very clean. We especially enjoyed time in screened porch area. We took lots of walks (a bit strenuous!) through the neighborhood and loved the amenities in Rumbling Bald, especially cornhole, the beach, and fishing in the stream. The home and Rumbling Bald is dog-friendly. Head over to Chimney Rock for a nice hike, a meal, coffee, shopping, or fly-fishing.
I appreciated the communication from Mr Lake Lure and the ease of check in/out. I called once to let them know there wasn’t a keurig in the kitchen as expected and they brought a brand new one right over! Such great service.

Great family experience!
We had a great time at Casa Su Lago and were very pleased with the views and amenities at Rumbling Bald. Mr Lake Lure Vacation Rentals made the whole process run extremely smooth as they were super informative and helpful before and during our stay. We would definitely look for this home or others like it on Lake Lure in the future based on our experience this trip. The only issue we had on the trip was not having somewhere to store the trash so we had to leave it in the garage/game room area, but that was a very minor thing given that there was plenty of room for our group of 10 in the home.

Lots To Do for Everyone
From the game room on the property, to the many activities at the Wellness Center, there wasn't a lack of fun to be found. The back deck was also very peaceful to relax and grill. We also ventured to a nearby farm and went horseback riding. Perfect proximity to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, but you didn't have to leave the Resort to find things to do. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies and, In a beautiful presentation, were soaps, trash bags, detergents, and our Resort Passes. We had excellent communication with the host and they even called when there was a local power outage to make sure we were aware, should it have affected us we were prepared. We would definitely consider this property again or any of Mr. Lake Lure properties.

Needs to be cleaned and repaired
The upstairs was ok, other than some cleanliness issues. The downstairs had a lot of mold in the bedroom with 2 beds and box spring was rotted on one bed. The shower door in the downstairs bathroom fell off when opening it. The carpet in the game room and the room with the mold was soaking wet. It also had not been cleaned or vacuumed and bedspreads had stains on them. We were very disappointed that we had to change our entire weekend’s plans but we were very pleased with the quick response of the property management staff and the refund. We will use this company again for renting but won’t stay at this home unless a lot of mold removal and renovations are made.

Property did not have a hot tub located at the house. Overall rooms and bathrooms were nice. Upstairs rooms are close together. Our kids enjoyed the basement area. Carpet downstairs needs to be cleaned.

Awesome stay!
This home was the perfect place for us to spend our quick getaway with friends! Absolutely perfect location, clean and well taken care of, easy check-in/check-out process, AMAZING game room and more! The property management staff were so kind and responsive, as were the resort staff. A few of the resort amenities were still closed due to Covid but Legends on the Lake was awesome and the wellness center was great! We were able to walk right down to the private resort beach, rent some chairs and umbrellas and enjoy a day in the sun. Chimney Rock is a short drive away and absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this home!

Beautiful home in the mountains
We loved staying at this property. The home was clean and beautiful and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint was the issue of trash collection and not having a big "bin" to store trash. With several people living in the house for a week, that became problematic and pickup was not timely.

This house was beautiful and a wonderful place for a get together of old friends. The game room was so fun and the porch was to die for!!! The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was there was not actually a hot tub onsite- this listing said hot tub but it was actually the resorts’ hot tub they were referencing. All in all, wonderful stay!

Great Mountain/Lake Home
This is such a great property all around. The location was great, we loved the Rumbling Bald resort amenities. The house was clean and comfortable, sitting on the back porch and listening to nature sounds was our favorite. We will be back!
