The place was a perfect get away cabin. The rustic style interior, the hot tub to the amazing bed. Yes the bed was amazingly comfortable. It was quaint and perfect for our stay. Booking was simple. The place was super clean. You really cant ask for a better place to get away. Will def book here again!!

The cabin is small but we were not in the cabin much. The king bed was so comfortable! Everything you need was there. Beautiful area. Quiet. Very relaxing get away. There is 6 cabins and would be awesome for a group to rent all 6! I am actually thinking of doing this, maybe next year.

Has everything you need for a little mountain/hiking getaway. Cottages are spaced out enough to offer privacy, and the hot tub is a nice touch especially after a day of hiking.

We had the best time at this cabin. The bed is AMAZING! It is super close to downtown Helen, and extremely clean. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our 2nd time at Bear Paw Cottage & it was as perfect this time as the last. It’s the perfect retreat for us-we adore the simplicity and the peace that Mrs. Penny’s cabin gives! As long as it’s available, that’s where we will stay!

Small private place to stay away from the busy town of Helen. The place was just a short drive away from all the craziness of the town but still close and easily accessible. Good fly fishing and hiking places are close and on the “right” side of the town so you won’t need to drive through the slow traffic in town. Jacuzzi was a perfect addition and gave us a chance to relax after long day exploring the town. Cottage was clean, owner provided towels and all necessary supplies to cook meals in the kitchen. Very cozy and excellent place to make your base camp for exploring the area! Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay and we will be back hopefully this spring. It was our first time to Helen and it was a great experience and a beautiful place. Loved the convenience of only being 3 miles away from town. We plan on visiting again this spring.

Property was very clean and nice. The main bed on the ground floor is very comfy and large. Access to multiple streaming apps on tv is also very nice. The fireplace behind the place is extremely nice. Firewood at outside fireplace is free. Inside the house cost money. Has both working ac and heat. Location is about 10 minutes from downtown Helen, GA. There is no reliable taxi or Uber service. The loft is almost a full 10 feet up off the ground floor up a ladder.

My daughter and I wanted a quiet place to relax. The cottage was adorable and the property was very well maintained. My daughter really enjoyed the hottub. The location is close to Helen and Unicoi State Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property and cabin! The cabin was the perfect size and I loved how the bed faced the fireplace. The jacuzzi was amazing and the kitchen had everything you would need. Overall, I loved staying here! I would highly recommend it.

Getting into cabin was super easy. Love the location, we weren't there just for Helen, but also to see the area. We visited several falls, Brasstown Bald, even went up to Cherokee, NC, all easy access from here. Cabin was perfect for the 2 of us and the dog. Nice and quiet most of the time. Would definitely stay again.
